2. It wasn't until I got Brawl when I realized how easy my opponents were--at level 3. So I haven't battled a lot of Lv.9s, especially for the amount of time I've owned Brawl. I usually shift my focus towards lv.7s if I deem a lv.9 as hard--which happens a lot.

I'll say seven for me. I've been tangoing with three level nine computers since Melee, Brawl I had to get use to it, but now I can beat them even with my handicap on 100% from time to time.

With items it's a lot easier, but 3 level 9 CPUs vs me with no items and no friendly fire on Final Destination with a character who can't really jump (Link) makes it a very tough task. I've only beaten a team of 3 ONCE with Link.

Well, sometimes they can be stupid too. They like to walk into Ike smashes, Ganonbans, and Falcon Punches.

Depends on what characters are in play...

I can 3 stock any level 9, unless I make a mistake. Pikachu is the hardest level 9.
I can beat 2, but I find it really annoying. Never tried to take on 3

I guess that makes me somewhere between 4 and 5 as far as I know

Well if Im Marth and just practicing Ats I am about a 2
If I go hard on the computer Im about a 4

With Snake practicing Im about a 3
If Im serious with the computer im about a 5

If i use cheap tactics and attack using the edge im about a 6 or a 7 if you know what I mean

I'm a 5.5. I've beaten 3 lvl 9's on a team a few times but only on huge custom stages which are easier to evade on simply because they can sometimes screw up the CPU's. But I can beat 2 lvl 9's on a team with ease.

4.5, but I don't think it really matters what your number is...CPUs and real people are completely different, and you have to play differently as well. Fighting CPUs damages your playstyle against humans to some degree, so I try not to do it.

I can beat two level 9's, so I guess I’d be a 5 by your standards, although I’ve never tried to play three level 9’s to be honest. I prefer to fight one level 9 and apply a handicap of 90 to myself. If you have ever tried this you know it is difficult. I have played with a handicap as high as 120 and won, but going beyond this is nearly impossible. So realistically I don’t know where I’d fit in, in your ranking. Dose anyone else frequently uses the same system that I do (level 9 + handicap)? I feel that a level 9 with a handicap applied offers a much more dynamic fight for 1 v. 1 math simulations anyway, though I do suppose those trying to simulate a botched 2 v. 2 match in which your partner dies rather quickly playing two CPUs is best.

I'm gonna pass ranking myself, since right now I'm only doing 1 on 1. 2 vs 1, well there's a lot of circumstances that needs to be taken into consideration. 1: Are there items? What Stage? Time or Stock? Who's the 2 computer players? I used to, in Melee, be a 6 because the 3 computer choices were the worst of the set. Brawl, different story. I can do it with time, but that's just because there's more of them than me.

I don't play the "gimp" game often, because when I go against humans, they aren't that easy to predict.

So... because I'm only doing 1 vs 1, a level 9 computer is simple. I turn on a handycap, usually 100% me 0% him, to make it more even. at 140, it's a bit tougher to live.

Those who claim to be 7's, I guess you'll need to put up some proof.

I'm a 3, but I play CPU's like their people. I don't spam b moves and do cheap stuff that people pick up on. I switch up my moves a lot and try to do things that surprise myself, so it must surprise my opponent... kinda hard 2 explain!

Let's see, I can beat any level 9 1 on 1 with maybe losing one life or just four stocking it without losing one. So that means I'm definitely a two, and since I can any beat 2 level 9's i guess that means I'm a 3. Then I could beat SOME 3 level 9 comboes ( bowser, bowser, bowser, I.E. ) with some difficulty, but since that means that I can't beat all 3 level 9 comboes ( I die in a minute on fighting 3 pikas ) I'm not a seven. And the 2 level 9's are eactually easy, so is that a 5? But then since my amount of 3 level 9 comboes is small, i'll say 'm a 5 to 6. A 5 on my worst day a six on my best, and a 5.5 when I slaughter my friends.:chuckle:

And yes, I play without FF. Or else you could just go camp and then drill rush and their slow attacks would miss you and hit their teammates.

I'd say that the CPUs on brawl are in fact harder than on mellee because on mellee I could go me against 3 CPUs lvl 9 and win easy but now I can only 30% of the time do me vs. 2 lvl 9s depending on who the CPUs are.

I destroy lvl 9 computers 98% of the time except 3 vs 1, then i have problems.

probably a 4...at least in brawl. I really cant stand some CPU's (Peach) because they're computers. they dont have a human mind and always use the same attacks all the time, and wont stop because they can't really get bored of th esame attacks over and over again. Of course this just makes it easier to figure them out :p

A 5-6 for me. I personally hate playing CPUs, all it does is get me into bad habits.
Plus they've gotten boring, I play handicap matches (two on one) and still win by two/three stocks. Only time it gets difficult is if its three vs one, which in the tournament scene, is impossible.

Only time three on one experience is ever useful is if you are playing in a group of friends and all of them decide to go after you lol

I just started taking on level 9's.
They're certainly challenging ( for me anyways ).

Currently I've only been practicing with my two best characters and those two would be Toon Link and Ike. With Toon Link I am able to beat 9 with mild and sometimes little difficulty. Thought with Ike it's much harder, seeing how it seems he carries a two ton sword. So that's troubles me, especially if I'm battling against Falco or Fox. So yeah, to summerize... Toon Link medium and easy ( on a good day ) time fighting... Ike not so much...
