How do I evade scrubbish family parties?

Well, this saturday, my scrubbish uncle is holding a scrubbish party that only scrubs care about. Unfortunately, my dad is a scrub so I have to go. However I'm not a scrub so I don't care about scrub business....how do I evade this party and goto Chu's this weekend? I don't drive so thats out of the option. I'm not good with reasoning. Should I just be a total ***** the rest of the week? Cause I'm not gonna be at some scrubs house surrounded by scrubs when I could be at a smash tournament, **** that ****.

Its not a smash party <.< its my uncle holding a big party, but only scrubs would WANT to go, unfortunately, my dads a scrub and is being anal about me going to, my dad sure as hell knows I don't wanna go, but he has too much family pride to say no. I'm gonna be in hell when my dad is prolly gonna be getting drunk off his ***.

Sometimes, I don't feel like going to church so I tell my mom I'm not going. lol

Of course, I'm 21 and I don't know your age so you may or may not get away with it.

Look why I'm really pissed off is that I was expecting him as my ride for C3, he f*cked me over there on a last minute notice within a few days of the tourney. Now this week, I think I'm going to Chu's and last night he f*cks me over again. I hope that dirty little piece of **** rots in hell, family is nothing to me, you know what I'm not even gonna call it family anymore, I'm gonna call them scrubs. Smash > Scrubs

Sounds like a personal problem, look deeper into it, try to find some common ground, like say ok if we go to my uncles party for like 1 hour or 30 minutes, and I say hello to everyone, im sure he would understand... hell if that doesnt work talk to your uncle. How old are you anyway, legaly they cant make you go if your 18, but then again, legaly they can kick you out of the house... just saying.

Put things in perspective.
Your family might not be SOOO bad. Think about it. Your dad was going to drive in the first place but then made a decision not to. Is this actually a negative? No, it's not. It's completely neutral. It's not like you asked your dad for a ride and he BEAT you or anything...
Instead of feeling entitlement think about what there is to appreciate.
Also stop calling things scrub. Using terms trying to fit in WON'T make you fit in. You can become part of the community by just being yourself. You're annoying me with that kind of talk.

lol, look, I use the word scrub for anyone (including, Obama, Jesus, Osama Bin Ladin, and more) who isn't in the smash community, GOD is a scrub, is he in the smash community? No, does that make him a scrub? Yes. Is my family (other than myself and my lol brother who mains low tier Mario) in the smash community? No, THEY ARE F*CKING SCRUBS!

so instead of going to Chu's that week...

you shoulda gone to the party... and then went to Shauns the next weekend

Deal with it. If I got to go to every tournament I wanted to and thought I was going to make it to I'd have gone to about three times as many as I have now. Nowadays I never expect things to go as planned, and when they do it's that much better.
