lol for you, he's a pain to me. Running around and lasering D:

There are some people like Kuro that playing him a bit. I know there was a couple randoms that mained him here in SFL. There's one in Orlando I play with whenever I go up there. His tag is Jazz.

:rosalina:
Haha i haven't even touched fox in friendlies for over a year. I definitely plan on changing that though. Jazz is pretty good though i've never played seriously with him. We always try to troll the **** out of each other in friendlies instead

God SHTL is harder than i thought it was gonna be =/.Experimented for ~10minutes with control settings for fox so i could start using him in friendlies. I tried that d-pad thing and it feels too weird for me to run revere jump SHTL with the dpad. I think i could use R as jump if it werent for the springs still being in it :p.

*sigh* practice makes perfect.

I just do it like I'm using a fight pad. Middle finger on Y, pointer finger on B. Thumb on C stick. Easy enough to switch back and forth for me.

2 best control changes for shtl imo are y to special, so you roll your thumb over x to y, or control pad up to special. Draw back to control pad up is its almost impossible to do a b reversal shtl. Draw back to Y as special is you can mess up and full hop a lot if you don't practice it a lot. I like them both, but I think Im going to use the control pad for the time being until I stop messing up with Y in training mode xD, then I'll switch over.

You could also set a shoulder button to special, but same issue as the y button occurs, plus it doesn't feel natural to hit a shoulder button 3 times in a row really fast.

Ya i found a way i like. I set Z to jump R to grab (to replace Z for boost pivot grabs) and just use the b button seems to be working well so far :)

I agree about the shoulder buttons though

Sorry to pop-in unannounced, but there's something that seemed weird to me. If this was already asked, sorry to waste your time.

I was training against a Lvl 9 CPU Fox with my main (Captain Falcon), and that CPU did something I never thought it would pull off : he dashed towards me, and did a reversed U-Smash right next to me. I don't know if it is of any use other than being fancy, but it sure looked weird to me.

Here's the replay if you want to check it out : http://www.mediafire.com/?qox5q197s837xxs
It's at the end of the replay (when the time is below 6:20:00).

This is the first time I see a reversed U-Smash, so cut me some slack. Plus, I'm not pro with Fox (though I do use him well enough to keep up with my opponent).
BRB checking out if I can do that with other characters.

My bad, I haven't checked the spoilers "Up-Smash tricks". I had a feeling this was already asked. Practicing this right now.

According to the last tier list, their MU are 55/45 in favor for Falco. Of course, I went to the Wiki that is now abandonned, so I might be wrong.

The Mu didn't change. You are probably not camping hard enough and spacing your moves well. Also abusing platforms work too.

Just saying falco is much better with platforms and also the spacing would be difficult with fox because of falco's camping, jabs, and grab. (Shouldn't the Mu be updated like everything else?)

So have we discovered that if you crouch cancel Zero Suit Samus' Down Smash, there are less hitstun frames and she has a different timing for the Down Smash Lock and we can escape? Unfortunatley it's not like she can't Down Smash Lock us, it's just that the timing is different, so they could mess up and we can jab or roll away or whatever.

That's a horrible idea. To cc the move you have to be crouching before the move hits. Which means you saw it coming. If you saw it coming you have better options. Why take damage trying to throw off their timing when you can just shield/attack/move away.

Are there any good fox vs diddy videos? His OoS options are so good so it seems a bit different than other matchups.
