Ganon can Tech Chase like Snake.

His Dair is insane, Dthrow to uair/bair is great combo.

He can autocancel his bair and dair.

It is also easier to combo the shorter characters with his flame choke, I used him yesterday in pools against FakeGeorge's G&W and nearly won. He is underrated because everybody plays with him once. he is really good once you know how to use him.

His fair and utilt are both horrible moves. Utilt could really only be used when your opponent is on the ledge. It can suck you in kinda like Kirby. No homo.

But yeah let me get $5 and I might accept.

Uhh Ganon has a decent matchup against GW. Like honestly its surprising how well he does.

Against Olimar? Hell no. What gets past pivot grab? Answer that. And lol I know how to play Ganon. He isn't good at all. He's fun. Isn't good.

Ganon isn't underrated at all... have you ever foughten a good Ice Climber or Sheik with him? You literally WILL NOT WIN unless you're WAY better than your opponent, or if it's their first time fighting a good Ganon and you might slip in a win for that ONE match.

Ganon just sucks, he's fun but he sucks.

I'm almost getting sick of brawl. I was talking to Tree about this, it seems, whoever I play, they just complain about my playstyle. I ask them to give me constructive criticism, but they don't do that; they just complain and think that criticism.

That doesn't help. ;_; At all.

What should I do? I don't want to quit brawl. But I can't just switch characters.

Dont worry about what those noobs say. Most of the good players wont complain about ic's, because they understand the difficulty behind playing them.

Wow, just IGNORE anyone that complains about how you play. Tell them to deal with it. If you want real constructive criticism, you need to ask the right people who want to help. Most people will not offer helpful advice, especially if you beat them.

Also, ICs don't really have anything overly amazing besides their grab combos. If they think they can do better, ask them to play ICs without grabs and see how well they do. ;)

Quit brawl. haha jk. Master the CG so when you start the grab stare into their face to make them die inside.

Edit:
People who want to pick up Diddy, he's harder to win than you think >_>

Flip, mastering CGs is harder than that. =/ I've been playing ICs since I started competetive brawl, and I still dont' have them down. That probably means that I SUCK.

Quit being so **** negative! Just keep trying, ask what you did wrong whenever you lose. Don't stop practicing those CGs, you will have them absolutely PERFECT if you keep trying them -- this game is hard -- don't let the game beat you!

If you're set on IC's, then don't listen to what other people say about your playstyle. The Ice Climbers will always revolve around chaingrabbing as their main way of playing, so the other people will just have to deal with it. And think about it, that really means something coming from me. I play against a good IC user everyday, and it's been that way since Brawl came out. Hell, I've practiced the DK vs IC matchup so extensively that I just about always win it now, despite the matchup being in IC's favor. In fact, I just beat Hylian's and Melee1's IC's at HOBO 17. The point is, the Ice Climbers can be overcome. The other player has no reason to whine just because they can't step up to the challenge, so ignore them and just keep doing what you're doing.

If I'm going to main another character, who would it be? If you guys can give all this info to Xyro, some advice to me?

Rather not have a character lower than ICs tier-wise.

But thanks everyone for the advice still.

After reading what you people say(hell i even asked kalo), most of you want me to try snake.

What i dont like about samus

1. SHE HAS ONE oos move thats reliabe. UP+B. The rest comes out so **** slow it can be avoided.

2. Lack of KO moves. F-smash/charge shot are GREAT but they HAVE to be used so much(which means they get stale quicker)) and that leaves you with d-tilt and d-smash which SHOULD never land.

3. Match-ups. Even in low tier she sucks(ness and lucas beat her). Her BEST high tier match-up is ROB and thats just 50-50.

4. Grabs.......totally slow and useless. Cant combo from them and even her pummel wont her some characters(bowser) and it takes 2 pummels to her others(ganon).

5. Shes weak. Im not talking about KOs and smash attacks. Other than those, ALL of her moves do low low damage.

6. Lots of gay **** can be done to her(ddd cg/icg and falco lasers) and she cant respond to it even though i know exactly how to(if it were melee).

So yea i give snake a shot. Yes ddd can CG me, but its snake, i can f-tilt once and poop once and ive nearly caught back up in damage. Yes falco can laser me but i can crawl untill he decides to fight like a real character. Yes metaknight can gimp me but i banned him so in reality i gimp him (daaaaaaang).

Yo, this is DancingFighterG. What up players. After a long SuperCon the fun has ended but for those who could not make it or for those who want to remember everything that was at SuperCon take a look at the great pictures and other media from the event:

Allan you can pull a nade in the middle of getting CGd by D3 and stop the CG spree, sure you take damage, but so does he. Also, you stop the CG so you don't get thrown off stage and possibly gimped :)

Only if the D3 messes up, and most good D3s will not.

The number one thing you will need to learn with Snake is how to recover properly. Otherwise, you'll get gimped pretty fast. :)

Yeah, trying not to discourage the new Diddy mains, but knowing how to dribble/glide toss and a mild autopilot may win you in the lower levels. But you realize that Diddy can't kill for nothing. Diddy for low tier!

Diddy for broken tier. **** bananas!

But seriously, Diddy is hard to be good with. You REALLY need to know how to mix it up during matches. And Diddy has a lot of options.

P4, it doesn't matter if Houston doesn't have D3s. It's not like it's hard to learn how to chaingrab with D3. <_<

Huh? I lost to Razer and Broly. I don't know who melee1 lost to, but he placed a lot higher then you.

*is confused*

I remember that very first time I played Flip's Diddy I was like oh ****, and this is what I have to compete with? Lol, Yea Diddy is a little bit strange. He has no kill moves, his aerials aren't all that, and his recovery can easily be gimped. Yet he is still top tier ONLY because of his bannanas.........

I wish Link and Ganon had a bannanas <_<

It is not hard at all to chaingrab snake lol. That doesnt work unless they're terrible at chaingrabbing.

Zac you shouldn't be upset about it. I had to play all of dallas. My bracket consisted of Andilex, bwett, infinity, melee one.
