I find it really odd how when people phone a friend, the other person always answers right away...like even if they called Nike, id bet he would answer right away and/or not be busy.

I read somewhere that they actually call up the numbers ahead of time and tell the people to standby in case they are needed. It's also why the people are never surprised when the host says hi.

Pretty sure they pick the person (or people) beforehand and tell them to be ready / free.
