"Can" does not give a definitive thought. There's a reason why I would have to compare and contrast Auspher and TokyoGamer's flips.So... you're just going to bring something up against him no matter what he claims?
Lynching Auspher tells me two people jumped on with little to no content as to why they switched, very fast switches I might add where I learn nothing of the players intent. The other two, JTB and Gustave both whom are my scum picks are still alive if he flips scum.Would you be willing to put yourself on the line for JTB's scum flip?
Lynching Auspher (besides the fact that he's more scummy to me than JTB) would give us connections due to his interactions with JTB and other players. It would also remove someone who has both given up and shown that they are unwilling or unable to help contribute to scumhunting. I don't know how much Auspher would help us in late game, whereas JTB (if town) could do just that.
Why did you like Tery to begin with?
Bonus Question Answer: I realize you've put yourself in the spotlight: congratulations. Where did I say I thought you were scum?
I like T-Block.Hey Red Ryu, what are your thoughts on me vs T-Block?
Not sure if someone already asked this, but why would T-Block be cleared if I flipped town?I would look at Tery, since he hasn't really given anything yet. Like, not a single piece of useable info. I would clear T-Block as Town.
Yeah, I actually would.Would you be willing to put yourself on the line for JTB's scum flip?
Lynching Auspher doesn't tell us ANYTHING about JTB. There's no way Auspher's lynch gives us more information than JTB's - not even close. RR and I are basically the only ones opposing his lynch... others have just hopped on pretty easily. The response to the JTB case has been much more varied.Lynching Auspher (besides the fact that he's more scummy to me than JTB) would give us connections due to his interactions with JTB and other players. It would also remove someone who has both given up and shown that they are unwilling or unable to help contribute to scumhunting. I don't know how much Auspher would help us in late game, whereas JTB (if town) could do just that.
To put it succinctly, his catchups show independent thought. Why did you like Tery to begin with?
You never did. But I'm not a town read, am I?Bonus Question Answer: I realize you've put yourself in the spotlight: congratulations. Where did I say I thought you were scum?
I have no idea what this means. So you're admitting to back-dooring, then?
Well there goes that then.I think T-Block is town, though.
I can understand this sentiment. Even I'm a little surprised at my confidence in this read. It's tough to explain. I've pegged scum D1 for inconsistent behaviour like this before though (Ducktales mafia).I am thinking of the possibility of him being scum. I just don't like how much T-Block seems to think this is the case. His case was good, but I wouldn't be this confident.
You're correct about this, and I know.Well there goes that then.
In any case, I was trying to show that a player putting himself in the spotlight is not really a town tell. Stuff like this is easily faked, especially by experienced players.
Not at all. Did he even put himself in the spotlight? If you think the case is good, then you think the fact that he put himself in the spotlight is so strong that it counters all of it?
Ughhhh I drove myself crazy trying to find the post where you said that and it turns out it was Gustave who said it >_< Sorry - I should have known you were better than to think that lol.I don't believe JTB is mafia, because of everything he did. I find it much harder to believe that a scum would put himself that out there on day 1, post 1, faking a copclaim with not much chance to get a lynch in.
I never showed suspicion because the fake-claim itself already cleared him for me, for now, as far as I'm concerned.
Peanut for reference for those not familiar with flavor.Peanut Butter Sandwich
Also: Ball!
Graaaaaape!
What’s that? You want to play? Peanut wants to play! Peanut is ultra-enthusiastic with most everything he does, which mostly consists of playing ALL KINDS of games. On top of that, he’s an extraordinarily fast reader (though whether he’s a fast learner is up for debate).
He creates his own comic called The Adventures of Spot (superdog) (see below) which is a pastiche of superhero comics and movies he’s somewhat familiar with, and on occasion will be about just anything that strikes his fancy. He has a great deal of anxiety about storytelling and gets overexcited about most everything related to it.
Peanut lives with Grape, and has a crush on her, despite the fact that she’s a cat. Recognizing this hasn’t stopped him from waking her up from her nap while in a panic, which he does quite often. He also has a girlfriend named Tarot who came to him under extremely odd circumstances. He is also okay with this.
I couldn't find any peanuts >=(
JTB, you're being silly. The gambit was hella obvious, but going along with it or going against it isn't a scum tell in itself. Do you really think there's a higher chance of scum being among those who opposed it? If you're going to throw out a daycop claim like that at the start of D1 where some reasonable players will pick up on it, you gain information on experience of other players rather than alignment, no?
You should be able to tell much more about how the target of the gambit reacts though, especially since this is apparently his first game. I don't think his reaction was tainted by the posts of others to such an extent that we can gain no information at all from it. Having a daycop call you scum right off the bat is pretty scary even without votes to back it up, especially for a new player. Yet in your 116, you dismiss any information gained on TG7 in favour of casting suspicion on pretty much everyone else. Why?
So, JTB, are you able to tell anything about TG7?
I don't really like how you followed up on this gambit at all.
T-Block trolled me.Oh man...
Imma let Kantrip take this one.
*goes to find peanuts to snack on*
There are two alternatives.Oh, I thought he was claiming Justin, I didn't realize he was referring to RR.
Why is he a clear if no one cc's flavor? That makes no sense.
Can't say anything more than what I have.Wait, what? Where is the post that says peanut and grape are town?
