High School Mafia: A BRoom Game moved to DGames

I don't know what to think of this game right now. People who have been putting pressure on Marc this whole time are changing their vote to Alt out of nowhere. CK's reasoning doesn't make any sense and Alt isn't posting so I really can't get any info from him. We kind of need to make a stand as a group here and decide who we are going for.

Marc will get us the most information and is equally as suspicious if not more so than Alt IMO. I explained this in my last post. Alt is less active and that is a reason to vote him out yes, but with as many townies as we have lost so far we need some information to go off of.

Unless we come to a reasonable decision as a group I'll be putting my vote on Marc as of tomorrow because I feel we can gain the most from it.

My opinion on Alt:

If his character was Mafia, and his character was emo, he wouldn't actually play his character. It'd automatically make him a target.

Then again, the fact that he's not participating, arguing, adding to anything... that's also suspicious.

If this is some strategy of Alt's, that's fine, although I don't think it's a very good one.

If he just can't be bothered to do more than make one or two short posts every game day, he needs to be replaced.

I understand it from a pressure standpoint and getting rid of an inactive over an active person is fine with me. But at this point I feel we would get more information going for Marc. Right now we need to get something out of day 4. It'd be great if I was positive Alt was mafia, but I'm not. If we lynch him and he ends up being town I feel we get no real information.

Sorry, Alt, but voting records aren't all that matter. The reasons behind your votes are important too. If you give inconsistent reasoning for your votes, it can lead to your lynch. If you vote for townies repeatedly for little reason, it can lead to your lynch. Giving virtually no reasons for your votes is just depriving the town of potentially useful information.

I understand that you're busy, but even a few sentences providing us with the reasons behind your vote can make you much more valuable for the town. Honestly, I think you're focusing a bit too much on roleplaying your character and too little on explaining your true motivations.

Confusion is better than no activity at all and I've toned it down quite a bit since people started posting more. The only downside is that I've been on the defensive for so long that I don't really know who to go after anymore. In the current situation I'm likely to vote Alt to save myself and because he doesn't say much. It also would help a lot for generating scenarios to know how many Mafia there are supposed to be. Given the size of this game, I'd say 2 or 3, but 14 is a pretty weird number to play with.

At first I wanted to lure people out, based on my suspicions. The game became more active as a result of that. Later on most of it was defense, I've been trying to save myself for three days in a row. I've been pointing out time and time again no one had a strong case against me, it was a bandwagon ruled by tunnel vision.

Oh well, just make good use of my death and win this game.
