By the looks of the achievements, it looks like there are only 10 missions. Well I guess its technically a bit longer than Halo 3 campaign, but I was hoping it'd be more like 11 or 12 missions. Oh well, should still be a good campaign. I do like the Halo 3 campaign, though it was a bit short.

Won't be too hard, I solo'd most of Halo 3 on Legendary and all of ODST on Legendary. I'll just do my traditional one or two walkthroughs on easy or normal and then go straight to Legendary. I tend to do this on alot of games and it works pretty good for me. I like to learn the layout of the levels before I play on the harder difficulties. It helps give me an advantage, so that if I want to flank enemies, sneak past them, or hide to recover then I can. As long as there aren't any levels with the Flood in it, then this should be a cakewalk for me. Emmm, cake.

You can get some special armors via waypoint if you do some achievements on 3, ODST, and Reach. I never heard anything about getting a special armor by doing all of the achievements in those 3 games.

I thought it would be best if we stayed with the main FPS Halo trilogy made by Bungie.

Now that I think about it though... Leaving out Halo Wars might not be the best idea because it does have a storyline that follows the main trilogy.

The saddest part is not the story, but the very ending where Ensemble gives their final goodbyes and wishes us luck in the years to come, regretting that it will no longer exist afterwards.

God, I miss that company already.

What are you talking about? In halo 3 it still takes 4 headshots to kill someone with a battle rifle.

Haven't even done co-op yet. X_X I'm down for multiplayer. Weekend is a little tricky this weekend, I work 3pm-11pm sat-mon (central time). And the wife is off thur-sat, so it'll be tricky.

I just read somewhere that Bungie was seriously considering making Halo 4 instead of Reach, but Reach ended up coming out on top.

They could continue to make Halo games but I think it's about time they moved on to another IP. (Hence, why the signed with the devil Activision)

343 industries will now handle any future Halo titles. (Not sure if they'll be any good w/o Bungie)

But then I heard on Bungie.net that preordering the game to get recon only works if you live outside of North America and if you live in NA then you have to get it on launch day. But then there's an ad for preordering the game to get the recon helmet from Wal Mart on the xbox dashboard. So can somebody please tell me what the hell is goin on here? I wanna know if I have to get the game on launch day or not to get the recon helmet.

Yeah, it's basically the same controls as Halo 3. If you've played the previous Halo games, you'll be familiar with the controls for any Halo game. Halo: Reach will probably have the same controls.
