Though that presents a little problem... he can't ask for a pre-order, because that's launch day, and buying it in a store would be stupidly expensive. Maybe I should get it on my birthday, the price might have dropped.
I think F8AL should get on with holding a game day for Halo 3 already. =)

I'm glad it's not bundled with a game.
I mean, I got the ODST controller bundle, and I love that controller. Only reason I did was cause I needed one, and it saved me about 10-20 bucks. So win-win.

I already preordered my copy (its the legendary edition), though I haven't fully paid it off yet. I only got about $60 on it, though I'll be putting in about 30 more dollars on it real soon. I should have my copy paid up about the time it comes out if not, before then. I typically put in about 20 dollars every time I go into Gamestop. I doubt I'll get the Reach Controller on launch day, maybe a few days after it though.

I'd count on it. They said in a previous update there was a straight up race gametype now.

Yes, but I live in Southern Illinois which sucks because theres practically nothing to do here. Now that I know what radio station he's on, I'm tempted to call him and say: "Hey Master Chief, could you play Rock you like a Hurricane (or something awesome rock song) for me?" XD
Anywho, I've been wanting to get good at Forge but I kinda sucked at it. So I'm planning to try out the new Forge in Reach and hopefully become good at it. The whole VS Firefight thing will be awesome and I can't wait to try that out.

I'll probably have to recite a thesaurus for all the thank yous, praising and worshipping I want to heap upon Bungie.
Forge World just look so amazing and... huge. The possibilities are nearly endless. Hopefully we won't just be limited to editing on that map, though. Though, even if we didn't, I'd still adore it just because of the new stuff they put in for controlling objects. Thank god Bungie listens to their community so much.

I hope not, but I also hope that by the time Reach is released we've seen it all. If this is gonna' be Bungie's last big contribution to Halo, I want them to go all out with every trick in the book. Make their exit that much greater.
I'm sure we could just settle for Custom Games. They're waaaay more hilarious and fun to play that Matchmaking, imo. At least you have Sandbox, right? You won't be missing much.

I'm getting legendary. Also I just saw the video about forge world, it looks pretty sweet. Especially with all of the improvements. I would probably still be bad at using forge because I'm not all that creative, but I'm looking forward to downloading other people's custom maps, lol. Though I'm definitely gonna try and forge my own map on Halo Reach one day.

and Xbox360/PS3 games are about 60$ dollars nowadays so isn't that enough?
lol I don't see all the hoot with the armors because you can't even see the armors when you play so why does every Halo fan think of it as such a big deal? and i doubt people on xbox live will give a hoot....Ha ha. XD

Edit: Chico, you realize that Legendary comes with more than just armor,right? Also, the recon and gamstop exclusive armors are basically free, you just have to pre-order(for recon you have to get the game on release day), so you're basically not spending any extra money for that, so what exactly is wrong with that?

I think everyone knows you get more than just armor for getting legendary, but I think most ppl only care about the armor. :/

I downgraded to collectors today. No point in paying almost double for a statue I can't keep and flaming armor...
