The parrying helped give those who couldn't battle against it to survive it and give them a fighting chance.

Tell me why that was a good change?

If I had to guess, inconsistency getting that parry to connect. I could rarely get it, and whoever has host advantage would get it all the time.

I'd rather they even the field in that sense and get rid of it. Then I can just spray and pray rather than spray and pray my melee hits.

The parry on the sword was just dumb. Why get a power weapon that has such a flaw. I would pull off the parry easily if I just ran in, shot at the enemy a few times and then melee'd. It's much easier to pull off when you're not trying to "time" it.

Don't nuke this **** guys.. It's just Halo.

If you're not holding another sword, meleeing someone exactly as someone else with a sword does the same to you parries the attack. You survive, but your shields and health take a bad dent and he receives less damage.

Unless you're a character in The Package. :D

I know that. Melee attacking someone while someone attacks you with a sword won't kill you, but hurts you a lot.

There were options for someone rather than just keep hold of a sticky in case of someone with a sword.

Let me try it out first. If I still find it usable then I'll keep using it - if not then I'll just switch to something else.

And I'd say it depends how you use it. I try not to abuse its power and stick to blocking grenade spams, but I guess the potential to be abused still would make it stupid.

Halo 3 was boss... Man I miss those days. So many fond memories.

I played Reach's multiplayer for a few weeks and quickly got annoyed with it. I'm hoping Halo 4 will re-invigorate my interest in the Halo series again.

All the armor abilities are stupid if you think about them. Except sprint or dodge roll cuz those can actually be used legitly. But everything else was gimmicky.

Yeah, I really hope armor abilities are gone. That and bad maps were really holding this game back. Also the frag grenades seemed overpowered.
