Dude, no. I don't care about the crew. I just don't want anyone to ever ****ing bring up my name here again.
Way to be narrow-minded and ignorant. How am I living in 2008 when I'm not even a part of the community anymore?
I was done with Smash so ****ing long ago. It should be clear that I've retired and am not just an inactive smasher. I'm not a smasher. Is that clear?
For the record, I didn't like how you all ****ing started to ignore me once I stopped playing. That was really ***** of you guys. I guess we were never friends in the first place, huh?
Seriously, just forget about me. I'm not a smasher anymore, and I don't want to have anything to do with this community anymore either. The only reason I started posting now is to make this point. It's got to be pretty clear by now.
Alright guys, fest is ON tomorrow. People can start coming over starting at 1, NO EARLIER THAN THAT, PLEASE. Come by, please please please confirm here so that I know or add me on msn. Housing is available, but we don't have a lot of sleeping stuff. I have 2 couch mattresses, but no extra pillows. So bring sleeping stuff if you plan on crashing.
We might need a couple of cubes (2) and more importantly, a VCR. Try and bring some money, we might bust out the KFC coupon and order some fried chicken, we might also have a cake and stuff lol. If you don't like fried chicken we'll work something out (GO **** YOURSELF, lol j/k) anyways, to the directions.
For those of you that don't know, take the 26 west from Islington and get off at Arista way/Absolute rd. ask the bus driver its just for one of those, they're the same. Once you get off, cross the street, walk down Arista way and walk down till you get to the end of the road, literally infront should be a building, Maplewoods. That's it! Meet you at the lobby lol. Just confirm here that you're coming, its important since we don't have a buzzer.

1) I agree, people do need to get better.
2) When people do host events (casual or otherwise), nobody bothers coming. Therefore I don't see how it's our obligation to train or accommodate people when they don't initially put any effort in to begin with. What's worse is when they latch onto some of the few available drivers and then flop the night before the tournament, thus preventing people who actually want to come from going.

qtf, mainly because I used to think like grmo shortly before and after I quit. And David is completely right, though at the time I didn't really like to admit. In the end I just played for fun and once I stopped having fun I found no point in continuing. At the time I just though to blame the community, but hell, in the end i was just too **** lazy to get off my *** and get to any casuals or tournaments.
Although i think there are a few kernels of truth to what grmo said too. At the time Josh was one of our only means of transportation to any far off tournaments, and on the rare occasion Imadh's parents. but nevertheless in the end we only had space for 1-2 people at the very most, since 90% of the time 3 of the spots were ALWAYS guaranteed to Bernard, Ryan, and David. Now, I AM IN NO WAY SAYING that they didnt deserve those guaranteed spots since they are the best we have and we need them to represent us. But unless the driver was driving a van (which was almost never the case) we only had 1 spot for the driver (which is nullified if the driver is someone not even participating) and 1 extra, after that it became a fight over who got that one spot. And like Grmo said, not all of us has the extra money to shell out for other means of transportation, and if we did, god forbid we don't prioritize smash over other things we need to be paying for.
But since I'm rarely ever on here anymore, I for one would like to take this opportunity to thank the community for everything they've done for me. Those 2 years will be 2 years I could never forget, it really helped me get through a really rough part of my life. To David, Ryan, Bernard, Adnan, Josh, Grmo, Andy and Mike: Though our words may have died I will always look at you guys as my friends through some of the best times of my life. If I ever I have the opportunity, I might come down and see you guys one of these days.

where are you trying to go?
union and islington are both stations on the toronto subway system, so you can get from one to the other pretty easily.

I don't want to get into any drama. I probably need to clear up a few things though.
1st: I acknowledge and thank you for your contributions in the past. But what I'm talking about has nothing to do with that. Your name was brought up because you are not active in melee CURRENTLY, regardless of what those reasons may be. Okay, you stopped playing smash, thats perfectly fine. But the Titans are dead and I think Toronto needs a crew that is full of tournament active players.
2nd: Whether you know it or not, the usual oos car has been making noise in the scene and we as a country are getting recognized. Again, a crew should be made up of people who actually play and travel.
3rd: David has a point. Everyone flops when it comes to Toroto going oos. I'm sure there have been spots that could have been taken by a few players, but the effort wasn't there. I definitely remember Kyle grabbing many last minute spots because people have ditched.
4th: The entire **** city isn't being excluded. But there does have to be some space for reason and sensibility. The crew should represent our top talent, and you should have to work to achieve that. Being elitist? Are you ****ing kidding me? By not letting 20-something people join this new crew (half of which don't even play the game anymore), I'm being elitist?
But really, if someone had spoken up a ****ing year ago or something, we could have possibly sidestepped this. How could we have possibly known this was a problem if everyone just sits back and roots for us, never asking for a spot themselves?
5th: Afro, even in the last few months, has been asking us for clips for this video that is supposed to represent a crew that is 75% inactive. It doesn't make sense.
6th: Melee isn't dead.
7th: I'm relatively sure your sig was made for you after you had left smash. So stop whining. The fact is, we let people who weren't even playing into the crew. If you really "don't care", or if you're definitely "done with smash", then why the hell did you want a sig? Why the hell are you still posting?
8th: Communication is a two way street. Okay, we don't message you that often. But you don't ever ****ing message us either. Come on Graham, I can remember more than one occasion where we've talked online and even played that online tactics game. You're being way too harsh.
I don't think I'm asking for too much. There are only handful of people who travel out of state and represent our country, smash on most weekends, and help organize tournaments anymore. The people who are doing these things RIGHT ****ING NOW are the ones that should be in the crew. Not people who have obviously moved on.
Its a very simple concept to grasp. So stop acting so ****ing immature and go back to lurking. I've never had a problem with you before, but now you're just being outright silly.

If you had put even a few of the scene's matches up in a while, it would make sense to delete them.
But now we have stuff from Ryan, Kyle, Imadh, and much of the other community being erased. Not to mention most people have their only vids recorded by you. I think you should keep some of the matches of the players who get less video time. Post the videos of people who need to see themselves and correct their mistakes etc
