well umm I want chesterr01 somewhere...
a sig that shows I play melee and b+ (not vbrawl, b+).
I guess I'd need a quote, like "Never give up" or "No practice needed, just let me warm up".
Fox has to be in it I guess, probably as main. I play Fox Falco Marth CF Doc in melee, and I play Fox Falco Marth CF Samus in B+. I don't mind if you only put Fox though. Feel free to let your creativity flow.

Pertaining to the Bernard/others debate...

I think there was an ounce of frustration in his post. People must understand that when you go to big U.S tourneys and you witness/experience all sorts of playstyles and levels of play, it's discouraging to come back to a community that isn't exactly booming.

On the other hand, Bernard, you should be taking in the fact that a good chunk of our players don't have the means to go to U.S tourneys. Whether it be not having a job, parents not allowing them to go or even giving them money to. However, I don't think the school john is legit. Josh/Kyle/David all go to university and each of them have been to at least 2 OoC tourneys.

Bottom line is, we need more/better activity. More activity is obvious - more Smashfests, more people etc. Better activity - meeting new players + following up with them and better interaction between players. I strongly encourage the other "top" players to take at least 1 player under your wing and guide/help them as much as you can.

As for U.S tourneys...we need more drivers/cars.

Adnan and I were actually talking about this the other day. We talked about top 4 from here practicing with your top 4, but everyone should definitely be getting in on this. You guys should come down sometime.:)

i'd like to add that every time people travel to where ever out of toronto to tournies, the scene here dies until they come back... WTF people, i would host If i could but im 100% not allowed under any circunstances, but i can go anywhere i want in toronto or its surroundings, not chatham though

Well if you come here I'm sure the top 4/5 + many others would be down to play with y'all. We could also go to netchamp and rent stations for 4bucks/h, then get drunk in a bar nearby. Maybe go to the ***** bar?

thats what I wanted too... i even spoke to Kage about it, but to no avail , and I was really serious about going too. Now its too late for me...

@ Idea Im about to leave to York like in 5 minutes.. all i have is hacked melee , but its on dvd-5...

@chester - me and JPOBS may be in montreal for our reading week (its between montreal and the bahamas), from like the 17th to the 20th, would you guys be down for smash during that time?

and to the rest of GTA, I'd be down for smash thursday (class is gay anyways) but it would involve me staying there until sat, cuz two trips to toronto in 3 days is stupid, would you guys wanna smash friday aswell?

i'll probably be hosting a lot over the summer. if my parents go to the cottage, like last summer, i don't see why not.

i'd really like to visit montreal. i went there once in grade 8, and i just remember everyone being so relaxed and all the girls being more attractive. i spent a lot of the trip playing golden sun 2 :bee:

hmm...if no one else is gonna house you on friday/possibly saturday, i can look into it.

edit: or maybe i should just go hang out in sauga too =P

I'm down with stayin with either of you (Imadh or Kyle), whichever is easier, just let me know before tomorrow if I have a place to stay from adnan's till the tourney, also if it isn't too much trouble maybe a ride (unless is close in which case I'm down for walking/busing)? lol, sorry I'm asking a lot but I wanna come down early, I could use the practice and I don't wanna be stranded in Toronto like Blunted Object.

so afro...i think you should do some, uh, research for his sig, and put your various source materials to a vote in here.

hmm...i'm at school till late tonight (well, school + smash) so i can't really talk to my parents till tomorrow. i guess go with imadh for now and i'll post if my house is available too. i mean, it should be, i just have to sit down and think about whether or not i can spare all that free time, as well as asking my parents, since most likely other people would wanna visit too.

imadh's place is definitely closer to adnan's, but mine is most likely closer to the tourney. plus i'm much closer to the other gta players. but then imadh would offer better practice than me =P

and, my house is not close to adnan's, and i can't give you a ride. heh.

and yeah, how is blunted doing =/ if anyone has figured that out over msn, post about it here so we know what's going on.

mkay I'll go to Imadhs for now, I have to finish my programming assignment beforehand tho so I'm gunna do that tonight. If I don't finish it then I prob won't be coming lol, I'll let you know. I'll be needing instructions from union if I end up going. I'll post back in a couple hours after I get started on this assignment.
