Marik: I thought I was the best at melee 3 years ago, when I owned everyone I knew.
Then I realized I was a single bead in this huge flaming necklace we know as the smash community. Its good to be confident, but being arrogant and cocky is something else.
Hope we didn't get off on the wrong foot anyways. If you go to Stos' to play, I'll go as well.

i guess link just gets so ***** by his recovery in brawl. it's worse than in melee...even if you don't count hookshot in either =S

I'd like to say that Dispatched isn't an accurate representation of the majority of the international metal scene, but it is. It's horrifying. We may as well go back to listening to Rick Astley while surfing /b/.

kirby has more grab range on his standing grab than sheik.
that + sheik's d-throw + speed + aerial mobility would be manageable although in all honesty he'd be the most boring character in the game. basically he'd be camp until you get a grab and cg or d-throw --> u-tilt (as many weak u-tilts as possible) --> bair and then either egdeguard or resume camping.
and then against every character you can cg you just cg to bair and edgeguard.

A nice smashfest at Marco's this past Saturday. It was a pretty good smashfest. As there was the whole game's matchups discussed throughout the night, loads of friendlies with people, beeble (lawl that rhymes) and the racial tier list.
Oh and there was lots of gay jokes thrown around. God forbid if there wasn't any of that.

No, your right. That's the exact way to describe the situation. I'm good, but I realize I sound vain, due to me not being in a tournament before, and that I have no right to say whether I'm better than you guys. XP That's an excellent metaphor, in my opinion. But don't worry, unlike most of the trash-talking people on the Internets, I'm gonna try to back my sh*t up .
Thursday.. I won't have enough money, and I'm starting school soon, so I won't be able to come on Weekdays, but I can do Saturdays.
But yes, 'Sauga is far. >_>YouTube? Why yes, I watch the Yoshi videos, (Tournament, CG, Dragonic Trot, Dragonic Reverse, Tournament videos, etc... etc...) to help me get better, GTA Smash? Well, maybe we could record our matches or something, maybe we could use HyperCam, and I'll upload them to my YouTube account, and still, I don't know the exact process for uploading videos, but I think I have a general idea of what to do.
Yes, well, maybe I'll learn from Tournaments and when I play competitive/friendly matches with you guys.

Im nowere near good but if i'll start coming to tournament's to learn. I'm technical but i'll suck till i figure out how to play universally i guess, playing friendlies and practicing is only gonna get me so far. somebody care to inform me on whatsup w/ the ontario scene, tournament dates would be 2cool; looking right now.
