How can you say you're one of the best on this site, and NOT sound cocky? You're an ignorant scrub if you think you're good because you beat your friends and lvl 9 cpus. You'd get torn apart by top brawlers in the city.

iunno i don't think sheik is particularly complicated she's just gonna try to grab you mostly and try to tilt combo you so just hold down at all times and try to outspace her and get her above you

lol marik...no offense man, but if you haven't been to any tournaments, chances are you aren't better than those who have. even with brawl, where you have the highest chance of being good just going in. with melee, you pretty much will lose every match for a little while. it's just how it works for some reason =P sorry if it seems like everyone is attacking you all of a sudden, it's just that you're not at all the first person to claim such things.
on a lighter note, wanna come to my house on thursday? it's not far from stos' ^ and i'm already having a bunch of people over =) and i have at least two tvs, so there can be both brawl and melee.

sorry =P and to peter's question a while back: thursday just happens to be free for both stos and i. and what else...for anyone who cares my address is a few pages back. only because one day = 3 or 4 pages in this thread.
I am very good... but I'm not claiming to be better than you guys, it's just that I've owned everyone I've played, and I've been playing it all my life..... it's okay, I bet you guys ARE better than me. I was just trying to interest you guys in a match, because I want to meet people, and I love Smash Bros with my life... I'm sorry for the confusion guys...

have you seen any brawl videos on youtube, by the way? they're pretty impressive. especially look up melee videos by mew2king if you haven't already. or like, pc chris, azen...i dunno, help me out guys. "gtasmash" has a bunch of good brawl videos too.
edit: i learned more during my first tournament (losing every match against everyone except one guy, and it was also his first tournament) than i did in the 2 years or so of playing melee with my friends before that.
