Stuns, exhaust, and ignite are your best friends. Wait till he engages with his ult and stun/exhaust him. It'll waste most of his ult time. Throw on an ignite and he can't do too much.

QSS/cleanse!

Yes, Tryn's are going to typically go cleanse, but I've nary seen many that sacrifice attack items for QSS. Chaining CC on him is by far the best method of dealing with him.

i play a lot of trynd and the best way to deal with him is to kite him/run away from him while still forcing him to ult. trynd' favorite fun times are when he can wail on the enemy team unhindered. good trynds will pack cleanse and will get a qss (provided you have ignite, which you should) and use them near the end of their ult. after they've used their ult, they can't do much at all, so force the fight after he uses it.

make sure he doesn't get farmed, kite him, and own him while his stuff is on cooldown

Play Kennen. Chain stun him. He will blow through his ult and cleanse repeatedly and then it won't be up when he really needs it.



So, I've discovered the trick to playing Swain well... is to take mid and end the game early. I went 4-0-6 with him tonight by going mid and getting first blood. His combo is scary in early levels so as long as you win before the game drags into a 50-60 min camp-fest, he's in pretty good shape.

Also, I've been having way too much fun playing Malzahar. When I get some Christmas money, I might go ahead and buy some RP and get him as a gift to myself. I would get a skin too maybe, but his skins suck so Riot won't trick me out of anymore money. I'd just get him with IP, but I think I'm going to spend all my IP this patch cycle on the special runes. They seem to be a really good deal and I don't have the MPen or MoveSpeed Quints yet, so getting three of each will set me back almost 7k IP.

Has there been any new word on Irelia? I'm saving IP for her right now and I'm really keen on playing her. She seems to be very flexible in which role she can fill (jungle, off-tank, DPS, assassin) and I'm wondering what I should spec for her.

Currently thinking;
AS marks, MP5/L seals, mres or cdr glyphs, quints of some kind (probably MS)
0/8/22 or something along those lines. Might do something odd like 8/8/14 for AS, SoS, Meditation/Buff duration
Items I think Wriggles, starks or BR, and then tank items.

then Madreds, Then beserkers greaves, Finish madreds. Then I begin work on a frozen mallet.

Vlad was the first hero i got a full rune page for but he got boring. I wrecked as him a lot, and that was fun and all (mostly play with friends, not randoms so i can count on team) but he was the same thing over and over for me

Jax is just so damn fun I don't think any other hero is as good as him for my playstyle.

Anyway, after my Rod and Boots, I just started spamming Kage's Picks. I'm sure this isn't great on the efficiency, but once we got into late game I could suddenly afford all my items, and started switching out the picks. Somehow, we ended up winning the match.

Has anyone done the math on the gold/10 items to see if any are properly worth buying?

Whenever me and my friends play, no matter who we all pick on our team, we are like "Yeah nice this team is looking good"

then when we see our opposing team we are like "**** THIS WTF THEIR HEROES OMG POPPY GOD THEY HAVE MORDEKEISER **** GOD DAMN THEY GOT HEAL AND CLARITY WTF THIS IS GONNA BE ****"

it doesnt matter what heroes they pick but you always rage
