So I'm trying to get my alternate account up to 30 so I have 3 more free rune pages for AP since my main pretty much only has jungling stuff on it.

If anyone wants to practice AP casters, feel free to jump on and normal to your hearts content. If there is enough IP for the caster you want, go ahead and buy them (unless it's Veigar... screw that guy).

I wonder if Veigar might be decent in Dominion. His stun can block off points (or stun people too, I guess), and he could push pretty hard with his AoE thing.

Not being about to farm hurts, though.

Ive played tons of Dominion (almost at 100 games of it played now) and I have never once seen Veigar played. I dont know if that's a sign of him being bad, or if he's just overlooked.

The only Veigar I've ever been teamed with went 7/1 in the first 5 minutes. I think he might be an outlier.

Also, I just won a 4v5 as Soraka and got first place. I love Soraka in Dominion. Perhaps coincidentally, I swapped out Smite for Garrison that game.

Why does this always happen to me the first few matches I play when I get a new champion, it even happened with Shaco. Jungling and ganking well but team somehow feeds and we lose. /rant

He could be used to defend bot if he wasn't so squishy. Ehhh...maybe if you went for a tankier build? Just push the minions to the opponent's bot whenever you see the chance with Q for a bit of extra AP. Could work out I'd imagine.

Just bought gangplank and I've been doing customs to get a feel for his jungling routes. I'm running 21/0/9 with armor pen reds, dodge yellows, as blues, and armor pen quints.

What I've noticed right away is how dangerously low I've been getting. Running cloth 5 pots, when I clear blue, I'm usually extremely low and it remains like that for the rest of my first jungle clear. Granted, in a normal game, I would be getting a good leash on blue, but is this normal for when I had to pull blue myself?

So I find laning as Annie with either a Cho or Leona is pretty effective due to the double stuns. I did it only because our Akali wanted mid :\ Probably won't work when I play with real players

Probly need some defensive masteries and armor yellows dodge yellows honestly is better for just about jax but I also have some unknown hate for dodge runes

Leona is such a fun lane with any character, I just bought her as a support and it really keeps people at bay cause of how afraid her 3 stuns are lol

What's a good tanky Riven build? I'm thinking Boots2, Mallet, Atmog's, Randuin's? Maybe sneak in a Vamp Scepter somewhere?

Start Doran's Blade then rush brutalizer and go into mercs/tabi, warmogs, atmas, bloodthirster, Youmuu's, + situational, usually FoN.

Riven is really broken. Lots of things work on this bullcrap char.

Not being able to farm isn't that bad since what he loses in building up his Q he gains from faster item gain.

Veigar is decent in my opinion, but overall not a good choice because you not only need to make really good decisions constantly but you also have to be really precise with your skills. The ability to instagib someone is really nice but in order to be effective you need to be coordinated with your team and that's really difficult without a premade. Also his generally long cooldowns make him unreliable in furious battles.

I can see walking around with Katarina being very effective.

Main two are On hit or AD.

AD is standard stuff like IE Bloodthirster etc.

On hit is more along the lines of Wits End/Malady/Madreds Razor.

Either standard AD items: IE, Phantom Dancer, Bloodthirster etc.
Or on hit/AS: Bloodrazor, Wit's End, Frozen Mallet etc.

You will have some more tankiness and some extra utility going on hit/AS and I prefer this type of build but it's not always going to be best. If I'm with a double AP team or jungle Fiddles + AP kind of thing I think you would rather diversify your team's damage further going your standard AD route.

I've never really done AP Kog, but I can see it being good too. If you are really poke heavy team and can get blue that ult is just going to be vicious. Not sure how to build AP Kog though.
