Haha, Virg took my little jab about his junglers to heart Nocturne is very very good, and can gank at any level post 1! Can you handle it, Virg!?

I run 11-3-16, AS red and blue, armor yellow, armor pen quints on him and it works very well for me. Can start vamp scempter double golems but it's easier to start cloth and 5 pots and go wherever you want.

Interesting... Jatt maxes out fear over shield/AS speed boost.

From what I heard (missed earlier games), CLG ran the same team comp vs Dig. Galio Kog Kennen Udyr somethin.

Frankly I dunno what Dig's comp was earlier, but CLG had a very ugly looking comp/picks. Kennen was their answer to Akali? Like ok if you're not gonna pick or ban something like that you BETTER have a strong lane vs her.

Don't know why you're surprized jpak. RS is currently the team to beat even without voyboy they are probably the best team ATM.
Also Bobby the reason CLG didn't ban Akali was because Voyboy wasn't there and they thought it was safe to not ban her. If voyboy was there I'm pretty sure they would of banned Akali, regardless it was poor decision making by CLG.

dphat wrong again. akali is broken and has been for a long time.

there is a trend that i have noticed. strategies that initially only work in low elo pubstomps (mordekaiser/akali solo lane/evelynn ganks/vladimir's lane dominance/etc.) are refined and end up being overpowered in high elo. the reason is because high elo tends to have a sheep mentality, where you can only play the "op heroes" to succeed. low elo is more chaotic and therefore more innovative.

She was doing a lot of pushing solo, so having that on lowest CD was the purpose, I presume, increases her mobility. Traps are effective at any level. Those two skills are pretty interchangeable for maxing second imo.

I can see maxing Fear over Shield for ganking strength and b/c the CC scales and damage does a little as well, but if you are donating early blues I feel you'd be running through your mana really quickly if you do that instead of go for the shield AS.

I really want to tryhard... I do... but when I dominate bot lane (their AD carry had 15 CS when I took their tower) but my Sona refuses to pick CV and rushes Sorc Boots/Mejais and won't buy wards... I don't know what to do at all. I just can't find the motivation to focus and farm and ward and everything when I have teammates that just won't even try to do something good. I would rather just screw around and play random characters and have fun than get stressed over trying to rank up.

Ok... for my support ticket on my main account... I can pick any one skin in the game and if I don't have the champion, I get the champion too.

I currently do not own: Cassiopeia, Riven, Talon, Skarner, Yorick and Xerath
Potential skins on champs I DO own:
Superhero Teemo
Gentleman Cho'Gath

They ran near mirror matches in both games. Kennen did fine until a Ali got three or four kills in the first fight o it just snowballs after that.

I know how good dignitas is just wondering how they CLG lost wen their comp does really well vs dignitas. The decision was to ban talon instead of akali, which is the right choice since talon hurts clg's comp a lot more than akali.

Do you know how often it is that top teams/players shift the way you view the game or the meta? When did low elo invent Gold/10 stacking? The roaming meta? (not even Eve specific, but Ali Blitz Support etc) The healing/kiting meta? The abuse of Locket? The abuse of Cleanse Teleport?

Like sure, it's much more likely to find "offbeat" stuff in Low ELO. Tiamat stacking Shaco will be found more under 1200 than above 1200. But as far as extremely efficient/predominant characters, metagames, etc. I would say most of that originates "higher up" and trickles down. Rather than starting low and catching on higher.

As far as the sheep thing, I think the most prominent place you will see that is anywhere from 1000 to 1400 elo.

The world does prefer being nice over making people upset, yes. Just because you're saying something that's true (or that you think is true) doesn't mean you have to be a **** about it. Certainly there are times where people are going to be upset no matter what you say, but the way you say things makes a huge difference. Essentially, adding comments that don't add to the point and just insult is what's unnecessary and will make people upset. Just now Dphat edited his last post to add in the phrase "delusional fools", was that really necessary to make any kind of point?


Anyway, back on topic, I'm really interested in Yorick after watching some of the games today. Is anyone considered to be a counter for Yorick in a 1v1 lane?

I don't understand how akali is overpowered in arranged 5s. Unless the other team last picks akali, you can guarantee you'll have an alright matchup against her in lane, farm evenly, then **** her late when she falls off.

As far as drafting goes, she seems like she's gonna suck as an early pick imo- too easy to counterpick. And saving her for a last/second to last pick means in itself that she's not a top pick competitively- has a niche.

THEN AGAIN, IM NO TOP PLAYER SO WHAT DO I KNOW?

In soloqueue she's sick because people pick dumb stuff, the drafting process is uncoordinated, and she ***** dumb picks in lane + she's a snowbally champ. But that goes for all the assassins in soloqueue lmao. Put time into learning Kassadin, Akali, and Talon, and you'll shoot up the soloqueue ladder easy.
