people overlook the fact that it's significantly more difficult to juke singed into flinging you the wrong direction. before the patch, you could run to the side and singed would sometimes fling you to the side if he couldn't react fast enough. the increased range will make it more difficult to change the angle of the fling so drastically. a small range buff like that means a LOT in this case.

time will tell but I think you're blowing this way the **** out of proportion. It's still essentially melee range, my understanding is that they're buffing the range of Melee **** to 125 to prevent stupid interactions with massive targets like max stack Cho, Dragon and Baron.

maybe. but it makes me wonder about the sanity of riot's balancing team when they choose to standardize this kind of thing by buffing an already highly used hero.

i think they're insane for buffing an already frequently used character (even if it's for a good reason like standardization) without nerfing him in other ways. i'm not sure whether singed is actually op or not; it just feels like they are out of touch with the community, many of whom feel singed is overpowered.

He thinks singed should've been nerfed as well afaik. My point is that the Singed change isn't a Singed changed, it's a change to all melee abilities/attacks range, they're not looking at the character's balance in and of itself this patch.

I don't even understand why anyone is talking about the Ezreal change like it's meaningful... It pops Banshee's, Sivir's, and Noct's spell shields now, that's it. This is uninteresting and highly irrelevant 99% of the time.

her shield just absorbs a flat amount of magic damage (and prevents crowd control while it is up). i think ezreal's w was able to break the shield before the patch, like all magic damage abilities.

The Ezreal 'thing' is ambiguous. I'm pretty sure it popped banshee's veils before.... perhaps they're referring to Morgana/The magic resist AD itemthingamajiggy/sivir&nocts even then ???
Otherwise I would have found it funny if it meant it was a bug fix and previously essence flux was just damaging you without breaking shields (kinda like singed's poison/etc) [god it could have been possible now I think about it]. If that were the case, a few patches ago both mystic shot and essence flux were non-interactive with spell shields *still plays ap ezreal anyway*

Also the whole pre-season 2 thing I believe is meant to be starting this patch...
Who's looking forward to 2 second queue times with everyone at 1300ish elo ?

me and some people are talking about an actual serious pre-made 5 this next season, and it involves me switching between top (singed, jarv, rumble, pantheon) and mid (veigar, brand, malzahar, swain)

who absolutely 100% beats veigar at mid? high-burst champs at low levels right? thinking brand, leblanc...who else? annie kinda, but most annies initiate with flash and so long as i flash away fast enough i'm safe

i ask about veig because we're CC heavy and would love to have that stun on the team

also i know veig beats some of them past level 6 or so but i'm talking about before that, when i really only have enough mana for a Q to last hit a minion, not when i have a tear and can stun > w over and over

i think im going to wait a month. at least, if it gives us placement matches like it did with season 1 where you get +30-50 elo per match for your first dozen or so matches, im going to wait a month. hopefully it could inflate my elo. :3

i agree! i was thinking that just last night. he is a physical caster. a lot like pantheon. i enjoy him a lot.

His ult is really really crazy with it's unbelievably short CD. That thing is pretty damn nutty.

Also, his best nuke is also his best farming tool, soooooo yea, he's pretty auto-farm mode with rake, which feels carzy strong.

yea also ive been buying cooldown boots and a brutalizer... so thats a lot of CD. (do you think i should use different boots or a different build?) and for some reason i dont feel as mana dependent as i do on panth. maybe im inefficient with spears, or is rake just more efficient as a spell?

edit - maybe im going to far with the comparison. with panth i try to get as many early kills as possible but with talon im farmville.

I kill people a lot with both of them.

Talon feels less mana dependent because for no apparent reason his level 1 mana regen is like, the highest in the game. It's really crazy, he starts at like 10 Mp5 at level 1 with no regen specced.

I do double dblade -> brutalizer -> bloodthirster. I don't like CDR boots because you have to go balls deep later in the game and thus usually have to have mercs.
