I was always trying to play Ashe to fit the role of ranged carry the best, but so far it seems Corki fits my playstyle much better.

I follow this guide to the T. However, I've also seen that Manamune directly into Triforce works as well (delaying the Cleaver til later). Other people might have more tips that aren't collected here. Also, as in any case, you can take Merc Treads instead of Zerks if your life depends on it.

i went DS>boot>sheen>mercs>trinity?>manamune >then ran out of what to get next and just grabbed a HoG...

poppy building is pretty controversial lol. i personally prefer an ad build (ie/ghostblade/sheen to triforce) but some people build her ap.

i start with a regrowth and health pot.
first trip back, get boots, philo stone, wards, and maybe another philo stone.
then i either go back to lane to farm, counterjungle, or roam and gank.
early sheen might be nice, but i like avarice blade because i'm a gold/5 *****.
run around farming like crazy, you can't really get ganked if your ult is up, but be there for teamfights.

philostone -> sheen is standard and then DFG -> Lichbane is the surprise buttsehks AP build while triforce rush is the prefered AD/hybrid w/e build.

True, there isn't a need, but it suits my playstyle. I like being able to spam spells forever and never need to go back to base for it (without taking blue from people who need it more).

Manamune is ALWAYS needed. if you dont know what you buy next its OBVIOUSLY going to be a manamune.

On a note of more substance, from the games that I've played with Ryze it seems that his hugest problem seems to lie with Melee DPS with gap closers. Xin, Irelia, Renekton (though less so with Renek), Yi, and even Nocturne a little - they can all screw him up pretty bad as long as they've built arm pen (or AS in the case of Xin and Irelia). Most other people Ryze can snare and run away, but those characters just cannot be stopped once they reach him; he pretty much needs his teammates to help him peel them off.

Oh yea and push teams can screw him up too.
