Wow. That makes alot of sense.. But what if they rush me, and I want to utilise my other moves?

I am lacking so much knowledge in Sheik's MU's I might aswell go spam F-Tilt on a Marth, or Mario, or Luigi, or anyone who has those sexy GTFO Up-B's.

I admit, I still don't know how to F-Tilt fluently yet.

Although I am learning really fast.

Now tell me on how to nullify people's annoying priority with Sheik's tiny pixelated hitboxes.

I like to run away and use needles + mindgaming.. But they rush me down easily. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU :glare:

Idk If I'll be at apex.

I'd like to go but one of the MI drivers is flying which i cant afford, the other michigan driver... idk if I want to go a another 12 hour car trip with him. Looking back its a miracle we survived the first time lol.

Going over 100 on the hilly and curvy parts of VA at like 5 am... I'd rather not do that again
Hahaha, I remember you telling me about the drive up there. I don't blame you xD.

@Alien Vision
Try hit and run tactics and see if you like that play style. You generally don't challenge other character's moves with Sheik. You either hit them before they hit you, or let them miss and punish them.

Edit: Just pretend you're playing as Ryu from Ninja Gaiden. Ryu don't care if he's seen, he just wrecks face >:D

^ I will keep that in mind!

I make pixel art, Artificial Intelligence.

See my signature? That is one of my pixel arts that went bad. I do have other pixel arts that are eye appealing.

Audio Visual: Please call me ai or sight, as it would be much simpler than spelling out a possible abbreviation. If letters are too difficult for you, try calling me 愛.

I personally think it fits you very well.

Although, I like to call you Artificial Intelligence.

Just remember, once you have their name, the soul is easy to capture for consumption collection.

Isn't consumption and collecting two different types of ''consuming''?

Which makes this redundant. XD

Only if you choose to interpret consumption in the definition other than how I intended.

So it's redundant to me.

Yet it's not redundant to you, because you discretely intended it specifically for one interpretation?

That sounds completely logical!

More logical than seeing Sheik perform her Up-Taunt while noticing that she shows great strength, yet her KO potential is hideous.

She uses all that strength to perform quantum leg movements. Breaking physics doesn't come cheap.

So then I guess by correcting that illogical statement, you'd just insulted your premise?

See what I did there? XD

Good. Imperfection is the real perfection in this world.

Without imperfection, we wouldn't fathom the wholesome value of things.

I think... that if you were perfect you wouldn't need to fathom silly things like value.

Hey, lets try more sheik questions.

honestly you learn when to stop by playing. unlike a lot of charge characters you can't instantly stop your charge you actually have a cancel animation that you have to take into account.

generally if they can't hit you in the time it takes you to instant cancel your charge you should be comfortable charging. If they are inside that zone don't charge.

If I don't feel comfortable with an approach or I feel like I need needles I'll run away and get to a stop I feel safer and charge them.

I know how to cancel my needles.. LOL

I'm saying as a situational thing. When do I worry about my needles the most. Sometimes my second nature kicks in and I forget completely about my needles. Lol.

Also, how viable is it to hit them with needles (on the stage, not off) from the air?

;o

If you're not in a position to be punished for doing so, and you won't be giving up pressure or advantageous position, charge needles. I feel like this should be obvious, but don't try to charge needles when you're already fully charged.

If you throw needles from the air, make sure you do so from a good distance away, since a 30-frame landing lag is absolutely horrid and the height you need to be at to not get that landing lag means you won't be hitting anyone remotely close to under you.

LOL! I've actually done this a few times. That flashing isn't as prominent as it should be on levels with alot of epicness going on. Like Pillar, and Halberd. :c

Anyways.

Any tips for a solo Sheik?

Avoid playing against Pikachu and Ice Climbers. Shouldn't be difficult for the likes of you.

Projectiles are not even close to why Pikachu and Ice Climbers are Sheik's worst match-ups.

Yoooooooo

I think Sheik does better against ICs than Zelda does. Like Zelda doesn't have enough options for her to have the advantage in the MU she literally has a blind spot half the size on FD lmao. At least Sheik is fast. Also I think solo Sheik vs Pika isn't that bad. Avoiding the grab for 50% is really boring... but its doable, and since needles and f-tilt strings can rack up so much damage so quickly, esp on people who have the grab on their mind i personally like the MU.

except game 3 when you get CP'd to FD because you didn't ban it because you didn't know they had a pocket ICs.

Solution always ban FD

Thunder jolt is not why Pikachu beats Sheik

Ice blocks are a part of why ICs **** sheik

Ahh. I'm just letting you know that I have a fair trouble with really good character mains that use projectiles. I can't PS that well. I don't know how people shield so fast. I think it's because my controller is as old as the Gamecube system almost. (I'm using the controller that came with the Gamecube after it was out for about a few months.)

So.. Yea. Thankyou Toot. +1 for helping me out even when I annoy you. That's dedication right there!

Of course I thank you too, Artificial Intelligence.

If you want to be good at Smash, don't just focus on powershielding things, especially when it comes to Wifi.

Learn to avoid as many situations where you'd have to shield as possible.
