I have had no issues with lag or frame rate on multi-player.

I don't get it but ok.
I didn't understand his explanation but I have had issues with context sensitivity. Like I shoot a person in the head in GE64 and it doesn't register as a head shot, instead a shoulder or neck shot.

I agree with Luigitoilet on the single player missions . They don't have much exploration to them. And there is always an arrow telling you where to go. So not like your going to look around much.

I would disagree on the mutliplayer level design. They don't have much artistic flair but they are very well designed for competitive play.

In what way has PD aged badly? I still play it to this day, and the only thing I can complain is about the aiming system being worse than GE64. Its level design is amazing, the weapons are very diverse, and its multi-player customization is still up to todays standards. Still! No other game has Counter-OP(as far as I know) and PD still has more bot customization than any other shooting game.

And who here is actually stealthy? Its not like GE64 where nobody will notice you firing a Silenced Pistol at someone. If you don't kill them in one shot they will alert everyone around you, even though they shouldn't know where you are since you were using a silencer. But they do :/

I just feel the controls of PD are barely an improvement over GE. The framerate is also similarly atrocious. It's still an awesome game though and I agree about counter-op and regular multiplayer.

I didn't even know GE had a distinction between neck and head. Throat shots IIRC are one hit kills as well.

PD's frame rate is much better than GE thats for sure.

I hate it when games AI knows your exact location for no reason. Its probably the best they could do back then.

Yea level design is to compacted imo, frame rates have only dropped a few times on wifi. tons in multiplayer and even froze on me the first day's I got it. Its been fine for a while though.

Also, Clans? Does anyone care to start one up?

First Three Cheat Codes Found For GoldenEye Wii

http://kotaku.com/5689788/first-three-cheat-codes-found-for-goldeneye-wii-but-

NotIt!!!11 - Unlocks Tag in Multiplayer Split-Screen (see under Modifiers. Requires three or more players.)
Inv1s1bleEv3ryth1ng - Unlocks Invisibility Mode in Multiplayer Split-Screen (also under Modifiers. Invisibility is activated in lieu of sprint by holding B).
<477MYFR13NDS4R3SP13S> - It activates Big Head Mode in Local Multiplayer. There is no toggle in the local multiplayer modifiers, the only way to switch it off is to reset the defaults; the only way to switch it on is to re-enter the code.

confirmed. Sending Supplies.
This game got pretty boring quick. I haven't finished the campaign and don't feel like playing anymore.
The multiplayer is a lot more fun IMO. Not that I don't like the campaign, but I'm only a little ways in, and I've been playing several other games instead when I could have been playing Goldeneye.

I believe the single greatest aspect of this game is that it's a really fun multi-player FPS that utilizes the Wii-Remote and nunchuk very well and is overall better than any other FPS on Wii.

I have yet to play local multiplayer. The online mode is fun, but it's a little too much like CoD for me what with the perks and carrying two/three guns at once.

Is there any weapon stat guide out there yet? I saw a short one on Youtube, but it only had a handful of weapons on it.

Also, I'm not used to playing a game where aiming down the sights is helpful whilst using a shotgun.

Bump.

Anyone still playing this, or did they all leave for Black Ops?
I still kind of sort of play it. My friends and I play the local multiplayer on occasion and I do enjoy hopping online every now and then.

But right now all of the pre-Cataclysm in WoW is pretty much sucking up all of my game time.

eh, it's okay. I don't know how Black Ops plays, but I imagine that anyone who wants an CoD clone on the wii would be better off playing that. If you're looking for a reliving of the Goldeneye 64 days you're going to be disappointed.

Unless I'm mistaken, they removed offline multiplayer for Black Ops on the Wi, which was really the deciding factor in which game I purchased. :glare:

Ugh, one out of three final papers done. Can't wait to finish them so I can play this and level up some more again.

Might sneak in a few breaks into my schedule though heh...

I have nothing against leveling slow , I just got in the 20's recently , and I'm happy with my current gadgets not to look forward too much to unlock any of the other gadget

the only shame is that I unlocked License to Kill which was litteral the only mode that can truly bring me nostalgia , since we used to play only that with my friends on the N64 version with no radars

but its incredibly dead..

Yeah License to Kill and Team License to Kill is pretty empty. Maybe it'll get more people once everyone begins getting to that level.

I don't mind the slow leveling too much, I'm enjoying the game and it makes it satisfying when I level up. Can't wait for a bunch of the gadgets/guns though.

Bump. I got this game. Its fun. But I agree it feels a lot like CoD with Goldeneye slapped on it.
