That has just been the usual trend for Smash at E3.Why are people believing 2 were planned for e3. It sounds like people are getting their expectations way too high.
Because E3 tends to have multiple character reveals, and big ones too.Why are people believing 2 were planned for e3. It sounds like people are getting their expectations way too high.
That’s what people said before E3 2019 too.Why are people believing 2 were planned for e3. It sounds like people are getting their expectations way too high.
Oh most definitely. I think I would've been much more upset if Steve got in before Banjo.People have warmed up to Steve now that Banjo's in.
I'm honestly incredibly doubtful we'll get a Capcom character for this Fighters Pass. I mean, so many potential Capcom characters are now currently out of the running it's not even funny:So if Steve is the Microsoft rep and not Master Chief, than maybe a certain lawyer is the Capcom rep instead of Dante. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against Dante, but I have no attachment towards the Devil May Cry games. I would just prefer Phoenix more.
Because literally every E3 that has had Smash since 2001 has had at least two reveals. Why are people believing 2 were planned for e3. It sounds like people are getting their expectations way too high.
None, because rules alone don't impede people from thinking a character is unlikely. What other fan rules do DLC characters have to "break" before we actually get Geno?
None. Ness broke the "A character that only appeared in one game can't get in." rule. K. Rool broke the irrelevant barrier or should I say the Ice Climbers did all the way back in Melee. Banjo & Kazooie broke the the impossible barrier seeing as he is owned by Microsoft. And Min Min broke the Spirit barrier which means nothing else stands in Geno's way. What other fan rules do DLC characters have to "break" before we actually get Geno?
He has literally already been in a fighting game.too weird to have a proper moveset (Phoenix Wright
I did too. I thought he got blasted into Bowser's Keep at first.I can't be the only one who thought that it was Geno when Mario was on screen lol
We had two or more reveals for E3 2006 (Meta Knight/Pit/Wario/Zero Suit Samus/Snake), 2013 (Villager/Mega Man/Wii Fit Trainer), 2014 (Miis/Palutena/Pac-Man), 2015 (Roy/Ryu), 2018 (Daisy/Ridley), and 2019 (Hero/Banjo)Why are people believing 2 were planned for e3. It sounds like people are getting their expectations way too high.
i saw him fighting Cloud and I got hyped for a secI can't be the only one who thought that it was Geno when Mario was on screen lol
Not gonna lie, my mind switched between three different characters during the trailer.I can't be the only one who thought that it was Geno when Mario was on screen lol
Of course not! When I saw Mario, I started freaking out, then Peach, and then even Cloud, I thought it was absolutely Geno! Especially when I though the dark space with the glowing eyes in the background were the Smithy Gang! I thought a Star would glow or Geno would save him or something! The characters that appeared in the trailer made it seem like it would be Geno that would appear!I can't be the only one who thought that it was Geno when Mario was on screen lol
I think we've reached the Point that "To Weird to have a Moveset" is long past us.too weird to have a proper moveset (Phoenix Wright, Dino Crisis).
I feel like steve was fairly out of left field. Do you think we will be surprised again before the pass is over?I'm suddenly reminded of all the "Geno was leakbait for Hero" nonsense back in the day and now we have this development that Banjo and Steve were technically being worked on at the same time so I guess Hero and Geno being a similar case could be totally plausible. Beyond this, we now have to play the game of "leakbait or really ****in' early" because this whole mess definitely shines a giant light on Chief, Ryu, Waluigi, Lloyd, and Geno.
Absolutely. Sad thing is though, we have no way of knowing if they'll be good ones.I feel like steve was fairly out of left field. Do you think we will be surprised again before the pass is over?
Crash is still in a good position in my opinion. Keep in mind that even though Cloud was revealed in a November Direct, the internet still lost their minds over his inclusion. So Crash can be revealed at any time.So the big question now that we know Steve was one of the planned E3 reveals is where does this leave Crash? E3 would have been the perfect place to announce Crash and if Geno was the planned finale, than I think Crash might not be happening. I could be dead wrong, but Crash seems like one of those characters where he is E3 or bust.
and also the Mii Costumes since Microsoft now owns Zenimax and Bethesda. The next amiibo wave and Mii Fighter costume release dates are going to be very important to keep our eyes open onI'm suddenly reminded of all the "Geno was leakbait for Hero" nonsense back in the day and now we have this development that Banjo and Steve were technically being worked on at the same time so I guess Hero and Geno being a similar case could be totally plausible. So basically every rumor that's happened over Ultimate's life just got revived in discussion again.I'm suddenly reminded of all the "Geno was leakbait for Hero" nonsense back in the day and now we have this development that Banjo and Steve were technically being worked on at the same time so I guess Hero and Geno being a similar case could be totally plausible. Yeah, that's definitely the worst part about all of this. We have no clear idea when we will get news for the next character. We can only guess at stuff like the TGA's, but we didn't get one revealed there last year so it's no guarantee. At the very least, we get to see what costumes come with him on Saturday, and depending on what is shown, it could help further fuel speculation going forward. Will also be interesting to see if any new modes or features are included with this next update. And once the update comes out, if anything can be datamined from it. So we still have some stuff to look forward to in the near future at least.I guess I don’t mind Steve for smash. What’s annoying is we’re gonna have to wait 3-4 months now before we hear anything else.
I’d personally appreciate it if sakurai on Saturday came out and gave us a date or month for when we’ll next hear smash news rather than have leakers by secretive about characters and us having to rely on 4chan for potential leaks.
E3 always has double reveals. Always. Ever since the beginning of Smash 4. I don’t know if Min Min was supposed to be the other one or if FP8 was. If it’s FP8 that means we’ll see them rather soon. Why are people believing 2 were planned for e3. It sounds like people are getting their expectations way too high.
