I think I've said it before,but if Geno isn't number 7, he's gonna be the last one, and it'll prolong our suffering. Hey, didn't sakurai said something about how one character was delayed because of the pandemic and couldn't have discussions with that company?

The funniest line in my opinion from Geno in Smash Kingdom came from this episode:
Geno: Oh right... Kingdom Hearts guy or something. I think between Cloud, Joker, and 4 different Dragon Quest characters, we are already elbowed up in weep territory ***. I think you should find somewhere else to go, but if we need a big ******* door unlocked, we'll give you a call.

I thought of an idea for the gimmick of a Forest Maze stage:
All blast zones are like the Balloon Fight stage where it sends you to the opposite end of the screen and scoring KO's are dependent on knockback, but the stage is simplistic and not a walk-off. The blast zone nature is in reference to the maze puzzle that you go through when you're chasing Geno.

After watching PapaGenos's video, I feel like now is the perfect time to talk about this. This isn't about the video I just watched, but moreso Papa's thoughts on Geno's chances. Personally, I think its really odd that PapaGenos keeps bringing up the fact that Geno might be a premium Mii Outfit. I get its a possibility and all, but I just think its odd he hasn't really considered the things going in his favor of being completely playable.
If I had to guess, I do think PapaGenos's thinks Geno has a good chance of being an actual playable character, but I think the reason he keeps bringing up the idea of a Geno Mii Outfit is because he doesn't wanna come off as bias, since people accused him of being bias towards the Banjo-speculating days and early Geno-speculating days. That's just my two cents and I just wanted to put that out their

What if Geno had not one, but two victory themes, much like how Joker has three?
Hear me out: normally, it'd be the victory theme from SMRPG, but hypothetically, if he wins while Culex's battle theme was playing in the background or if Geno wins a match on Midgar, it'd be replaced with the FF victory theme? That would be a pretty cool shoutout, right?

One thing I'd like to mention is that in the background of some of the old AVGN episodes, there was a Super Mario RPG poster in the background.

I remember earlier in the thread that someone mentioned that Rosalina ought to be involved in Geno's Smash reveal, should it occur. I had a fun little thought the other day along these lines, actually; Can you picture the potential reveal opening up to the picture book from Mario Galaxy? Rosalina tells us a little story using a similar art style, until we get to a page where Rosalina herself prepares to help revive the Geno doll using the namesake spirit. And, as the music builds up (as it do), Geno comes back to life, and we get hit with an appropriate splash screen.
It's a fun little thought. Perhaps a fun little fan project for someone well-equipped to handle the art style and subsequent video editing. That'd be pretty neat, maybe!

This'd be pretty nice because he'd hypothetically get the "classic" FF victory theme, which is different from the one Cloud has. I suppose the issue could be music copyrights again but I'm not sure how much there are on those.

Yeah, that could be the reason, i fell that since cuphead he lose a lot of hope of Geno playable
The only two options i have like ideas of geno's victory theme are The normal Victory theme and the collect a star piece song
Plot Twist: Rosalina start talking about a Generic SMG story but then explains the SMRPG story with all: Exor falling in Bowser's during the Mario's fight with Bowser, the Booster weeding, some important things in the story, then explains about Geno and she says that he will return, the trailer end (We didn't know it was a Smash, we think is the Mario 3D ports) and Then: Challenger Pack 7: Geno From Super Mario RPG, September 2020

Threw together a post-Min Min prediction I'm happy with.
If I had to choose one from the general categories, I would pick Steve, Chosen Undead, and Bandana Dee. Something about those three characters next to Min Min and Geno just feels right.

So I decided to concoct a hypothetical trailer for Geno.
*Cross flair intro*
The trailer starts with the Smash kids and Lumas gathering around a fireplace resting, one of the Villagers holding what appears to be a blue doll as he witnesses a shooting star outside the window. while Rosalina looks on a bookshelf for anything to read to them. She eventually finds a book with a familiar star with a keyhole on it and turns to them with a warm, anticipatory smile. She floats to a chair and the kids and Lumas turn to her as she begins to read.
Once upon a time, there was a wondrous place known as the Star Road. It was a magical place where shooting stars would go to grant wishes.
One day, an evil group known as the Smithy Gang appeared and shattered the Star Road, scattering its pieces around the world.
It was up to an unlikely group of heroes to band together and restore the Star Road for the good of everyone's wishes.
These heroes were Mario, the red-capped hero of the Mushroom Kingdom.
Peach, the fair princess of the Mushroom Kingdom.
Bowser, the mighty tyrant of the Koopa Kingdom.
Mallow, the prince of a kingdom within the clouds.
And last but not least, there was a being who possessed a doll named-!

The story was interrupted and the music stops as the group notices a single star fly into the window and float around for a bit. It stops above the doll in Villager's hands, causing it to softly float from his hands. With a soft glow around the doll and a bright flash, the star infuses itself with the doll. The kids, Lumas, and Rosalina cover their eyes for a bit before they lower their hands and saw what was impossible: the doll had grown almost thrice its normal size. But more importantly, it was alive. As the doll looked around, it is now made clear to the audience.
Their wish, at long last, had been granted.
GENO Shoots For The Stars!
Cut to the gameplay of Geno in the Smash engine, whose Specials look and feel plucked right out of Super Mario RPG, ranging from his signature finger guns to his Geno Whirl to his Geno Beam. It then shows his Final Smash, which has him transform into a giant cannon and unleashes a mighty Geno Flash that engulfs the screen.

Ok, please don't take this as me trying to dunk on Isaac fans or anything, if I could add one more first party character it would almost certainly be him, but why exactly are people acting like there was this mountain of stuff pointing towards him being in the base game? Am I misremembering something? There was an image on the Smash site that may or may not have been a reference to Golden Sun, and a leaked item that had a sapling icon that vaguely resembled the growth icon, even though there was already an item in the game we had seen with the same icon in the healing field. Aaaaaaaand... that was it I think? Two coincidences taken out of context? I mean there was the Grinch leak obviously, fair enough on that one, and stuff in tinfoil territory like the earthquake and stuff, but otherwise, is this really a fair comparison to where Geno is right now?
It feels like people heard that Sakurai was actually using the ballot and just assumed it meant other popular characters had to be in. In a perfect world, it WOULD, and being blunt the stuff I just said also applied to Geno (and several other characters) at the time, but still. K.Rool, Chrom, Isabelle, all got the mii costumes, Ridley was straight up awknowledged by Sakurai, Samus mysteriously had her Dark Samus costume missing at E3. Banjo had all his merch, Nintendo was shilling the hell out of Dragon Quest, Three Houses mysteriously didn't get a Spirit Event. And that's without bringing up any leaks/insider hints. Even for characters who didn't get in, Shadow and Skull Kid had their assist trophies not having shown up yet and the latter was acknowledged by Sakurai, same thing with Geno plus the costume in Smash 4 like K.Rool. Sure, some of this stuff can only feel obvious in hindsight, not everything pans out, but still. Golden Sun got LESS CONTENT in Smash 4 than in Brawl, and yet people really expected this giant turnaround? I mean, clearly SOMETHING got through based on what we got in Ultimate for it, but they still don't care enough apparently.
I get the general idea is that "getting your hopes up too early is a recipe for disaster", and fair enough, but I feel just the missing Mii Costume alone is more cause for hope in Geno's chances than anything Isaac, or really most characters, had at the time/have right now. Not to mention the fact that Sakurai, Nintendo, and most importantly Square based on the leaked memo are clearly aware of his popularity, the mii costume list, the music takedowns, whatever happenned with Legacy XP, piecing stuff together based on what we know/might know about Season 2's planning and the timing of other releases, COULD all of this stuff turn out to be wrong in the end? Of course, it's always a good idea not to be blindly optimistic. But acting like there's no strong evidence supporting Geno, that this is all wishful thinking and that this can all be waved off is... fine if you want to believe that I suppose, nothing wrong with being pessimistic, but you don't need to try and force that.

I think I've said this on this thread before, but I don't think we're getting another fighter reveal so soon after Min Min. I mean, don't get me wrong, that would be surprising if that was the case, but at the moment, Min Min's just popped out of the game-development womb.

That was totally awesome, the name of the trailer, the idea,the connection between SMRPG and Super Mario Galaxy, Villager referencing Gaz, the signature for the Smash fans acknowledging the fact that Geno is practically the last character requested since Brawl, Rosalina's book with the starhill symbol being that, you know what? You already know who it will be, (such as the jiggy in the DK's house, the AT of Klaptrap, the artistic style of Fire Emblem in the trailer of Byleth, Kirby and Capitan falcon eating ramen, mario, samus and megaman in zebes). It's beautiful

I understand that, but some things have been off before. Even though Banjo was revealed back in June, he was released the same day Terry was revealed. So it may seem unlikely, but it could still happen.

Agreed. I was saying the same thing right after Byleth's reveal when people were adamant they wouldn't leave us hanging with just that for long and lo and behold look how long we had to wait for Min Min. Not to mention this time around they have given themselves so much more time to release these fighters and clearly Nintendo loves to drag their feet right now. I understand they need to sell the pass, but honestly it's probably already selling pretty well.

That's fair. Again, my point isn't that "Isaac fans were dumb for thinking he was in", because they weren't, and more that people got a bit caught up in the hype after K.Rool got in, and that included Geno.
