You forget the fact that sans is sans, you can't have him without his iconic song, plus, maximum songs that can come with a mii costume are one.
Where is writen the rule that a Mii can only come with one song?

I think it’s time for everybody to put Tomasagaz14 the donut on their ignore list. The dude literally has no reason to be here since he’s one of those toxic “Geno bad” Sora fanboys.

I'm hoping to Star Road Geno comes with more than two tracks, dude. Beware the Forest's Mushrooms and Fight Against an Armed Boss are cool and all, but SMRPG has too many good songs to pass. And if they decide to include some Paper Mario or Mario & Luigi ones too, I'm not complaining either.

I could see the adquisition of Mario RPG songs being easier than many people expect it to be.

The composer of SMRPG seems to be kinda closer to Nintendo if I remember correctly.

So every Sora supporter is bad in your opinion? Lol, Sora is not even my most wanted SE character, and if you think that i dislike Geno just because i want another SE rep you are wrong

Shimomura-san has been a part of the Smash series and a part of the Mario & Luigi series for years, so yeah, she is infinitely easier to work with in terms of copyright and acquisition.

There is only one Paper Mario song in the game and it’s a medley mostly composed of music from Sticker Star, it’s a travesty.

Only Geno, no items, final destination with Fight Against Culex in the background.

I wouldn't advise that personally. I get that he hasn't come into this thread with the best of intentions but right now he's not being disruptive he's offering counterpoints. I get that a lot of detraction is things that have been discussed ad nausem but it's always a good thing to keep counter-arguments in mind.

Afaik Sans is the only time where a Mii came with a song, i don't see why

Lol! I never said all Sora supporters are bad. I was only talking about you. You literally came into thread yesterday picking fights and in Gamefaqs, it seems that you had a good time picking at this thread. I can bring back that Gamefaqs post if you like.

Exactly! Yoko Shimomura doesn't seem like the kindof gal who would be difficult to work with. Hell, we already have some of her Street Fighter and Mario & Luigi tracks in, and she's no stranger to making Smash arrangements of other songs, most recently Treasure Trove Cove and one of the SNK songs, I forget which.

There is only one Paper Mario song in the game and it’s a medley mostly composed of music from Sticker Star, it’s a travesty.
There are also two other tracks from Colo Splash, but that doesn't really help matters now, does it? We have two from that game yet none from Paper Mario 64 or Super. Yikes...

You talked like if being a Sora fan was equal to hate Geno in many cases, you are wrong if you think that about me.

As a huge fan of Ultimate’s soundtrack, I think it says something that I forgot about the Color Splash tracks lol

Agreed for the most part, but granted, the dude did brag about coming in here just to antagonize and 'trigger' Geno's fans. The intention itself is textbook 'troll'. That said, removing that from the equation, I always welcome counterarguments, especially ones that are still possibilities (i.e. Geno's costume returning).

100% no need to tell others to do so. I was in a bad mood yesterday which lead to one exchange I was not happy with. Apologies Tomasagaz14 Tomasagaz14 .

One thing to keep in mind with this new DLC is whether it will be like this current fighters pass. As in 'completly new to Smash' thus negating the upgrades we could see. Until we hear Nintendo announce exactly what this new line of DLC will be, nothing is certain.

Still are 8 songs, them repping different games instead of just one is even better.
But the point is that, based on what we've seen, Square only licenses out two songs per game. This is why most people aren't expecting an avalanche of music with Geno. Granted, a lot of it primarily has to do with the fact that Square's music is licensed under their respective composers, meaning it's a lot less straight forward than most. Uematsu personally owns most of the music for Final Fantasy, Sugiyama owns most of the music for Dragon Quest, and Shimomura owns most of the music for Kingdom Hearts, for example.

Yeah there’s a difference between someone coming to present a different opinion and just coming to stir ****, and our little friend here basically said yesterday that his intention here is to stir ****.

YO, I just had the greatest of ideas! What if the Chocobo Hat drops with Geno's release and alongside him, we get the Final Fantasy 4 Boss theme/Fight Against Culex? Not only would that be appropriate, what with that song being in SMRPG as an Easter Egg of sorts, but it'd also increase the amount of Final Fantasy songs in Smash by 50%!

You know, if that Mallow & Smithy Mii Costumes are still true then Forest's Mushroom gets tied to Geno Mii Costume and Fight Against an Armed Boss gets tied to Smithy Mii Costume.

The greatest sadness is Square's licensing nonsense failing to allow us to have more Final Fantasy tracks. Sakurai does his best but I can't look at that measly 2 track listing and feel good

I feel they probably made two songs per game to try and balance the demand of the sides of the DQ fandom who requested each one of the four heroes who became fighters.

I can imagine that if DQXI S got four songs and one of the four represented games directly got not a single track some people would have been dissapointed (I have to admit I would have been slightly dissapointed if War Cry wasn’t in).

I overall feel that in the case of DQ it was done to balance demand and not really about limitations as in the case of Final Fantasy.

This just crossed my mind. The composer for SMRPG is she not working on Ultimate? I thought she was - if so Geno's inclusion i think could very well come with a mess of music. Just a thought. We also have 1 remix (close enough to SMRPG that King Bowser song which i love) already in Ultimate.

Guys just a friendly reminder, if you’ve got issues with someone just put em on ignore and don’t engage with them, it just causes more drama as well as derails the topic(not in a fun/good/lighthearted way)

Eh, I don't think that's very likely. That kind of assumes there was a hard limit on how many tracks could be acquired. I'm sure he did want at least one track for each of the Heroes but if he had the opportunity to include more tracks regardless of balance we would have them.
