Yes it does, considering how invested you are in seeing Lloyd getting deconfirmed... which he is, but only for Fighter 5 right now. There's always post-Pass, and I doubt the Lloyd fans you laughed at here are gonna forget your behavior if Lloyd ends up getting in eventually.

Kos-Mos would absolutely fit the thank you considering she's Namco's mascot in Japan. I don't know how much her not being one of the 10 names holds her back though.

It really does vary on the person. But terminology like that is sort of a running joke in the community. But it might just be on a "that's our word" bases. Ill just mark this down as just being unintentionally insensitive.

She's the mascot of Monolith. Not really a mascot of Namco but she's the crossover queen of Namco.
Now Lloyd's gone? Crash, Ryu H. Tracer, and others I did not name, if they are not in, who could it be?

It's still stupid, even when Reggie said that the dlc would be new series previously unrepresented in smash, but I guess so.
KOS MOS is no stranger to major crossovers as evidenced by Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and the Project X-Zone series.
That's a pretty recent crossover also. Showing that Nintendo has an interest in the character. If Sakurai cares for her is another story. But we know Nintendo has some interest in the character themselves and might want her in smash.

He didn’t say that; I guess what he said could imply that, but he didn’t say “new series” and it’s basically a PR statement. Heck, Lloyd’s series isn’t even in the game and only had a Mii costume last game, I highly doubt Lloyd wasn’t considered because of Smash 4’s cosplay options.
While I agree how rude someone can be sometimes doesn’t affect their credibility with leaks, I don’t think a moral issue compares to not liking a sports team; maybe one of Vergeben’s past comments, though...

One of the very few non-video game characters I could see Sakurai making an exception to, considering Popeye is more or less indirectly responsible for the existence of the Mario series.
Fatman did put a rando happening on equal levels to Nightmare after all.

Couldn't KOS-MOS still make sense with this talk? I mean, I can't say I know all the legal stuff around her, but she is also kinda Monolith Soft's character as well, right?
