Well regardless saying that because Nintendo took down Banjo songs during November/December was a hint since Banjo actually made it in so same applies to Geno is false. There were a lot of random fan made songs that Nintendo took down during that time and I doubt that them taking down Megalovania during that time means that Undertale is getting into Smash Bros as well.
I think BrawlBRSTMs himself said Nintendo was manually going through his videos and just warning him rather than striking him, so idk.
I just think a troll reporting to the copyright owners would do this at a time where Geno hype is kind of high. If some troll went out of their why to fool us all with the Grinch leak, than I could totally somebody trying to attempt this or something crazier.
Possibly, but Nintendo has been doing this to BrawlBRSTMs for a while now. It could be a troll, it could be an employee just going through some videos and claiming everything “Mario” while missing some, idk.
Nah, Geno hype's actually pretty low right now. Most people (including a good number of his supporters) are considering him deconfirmed/Mii Costume'd with the advent of Hero. If someone were to do something like this just for ****s and giggles, a better time would've been during the base game when people generally felt Geno had a chance, especially during the height of the Grinch hoax.
But still, those Mario RPG songs being removed from BrawlBRSTMs3's Youtube channel has hyped up some Geno fans and if some troll did reported, than they obviously knew people would get excited because of that.
I don't know if it was a troll that may have been their objective but I've seen more Geno fans brush this thing off than not. Just look at this thread for example almost all of us are brushing this off despite it seeming like a good thing for our character. I doubt it's a troll if anything I just think it's a simple mistake from Nintendo's part.
Honestly, I think trolls will do anything for attention even if they can't get everybody on the hook on their trick.
I wouldn't even call it 4D chess it's simply waiting for the right time to troll and get a bigger reaction out of people which now wouldn't be a good time for cause everyone is so down in the dumps about Geno's chances but either way you're probably right.

Well if you don't mind answering this question is it a "THIS IS NOT A DRILL" as in it's a good thing or as in it's a bad thing? Of course if you can't say then that's absolutely fine too.
It's so vague that I have no idea. Most of his picture hints are so esoteric that it can be hard to determine. Again, we're trying to get him to respond to us but I wouldn't be surprised if he decides to troll us by going silent the rest of the day. Either way, he knows something Nintendo related and is hinting at something of interest.

If it winds up being Smash related I will but it may take awhile, even a few days, before he we can get him to respond to our questions.

You know me. When it comes to Geno I can do 20 Degrees of Kevin Bacon all day but I also don't want to get people riled up if it's not even Smash related. He just sort of dropped it out of nowhere while several people were talking about the weird music mystery currently going on and bounced. That said, I'm still confident that Hero's probably coming this week but I have no idea if this latest hint relates to that at all.

for being level headed on this one. If it's what I think we all feel it is...then patience is needed.
It's okay. I bring things here first because this is basically my Smash home and has been for nearly 15 years and, as far as I'm concerned, you all are kin so when something potentially spicy comes out of the proverbial oven, I want you all to know first. As I've talked about in the past, this is coming from the big Nintendo source that has yet to be wrong about anything they've shared with confidence. They also like to be cryptic so sometimes it's not straightforward. He knew about New Horizons, Mario Maker 2, Breath of the Wild 2, Link's Awakening, etc a considerable amount of time before they were announced. He told us about Joker's release date an hour before it was announced. This guy's as solid as you can get but he's also super careful.

Genuine question here; I've noticed you have a tendency to present some vague information you've learned (Usually through Sabi) as a potential hint towards something, but then you don't really give much more than that and sort of dodge around being too definitive with it or giving more specifics. I understand you're potentially working with sensitive information that might be problematic if it got out without prior assurances, but why make a mention of "having information" before actually going properly "public" with any of it? Wouldn't it be better just to wait until you had discussed with Sabi and whoever else and then dropping the picture when you get the all clear instead of riling people up before hand with the whole "something"?
You can have all the fun you want, but outside this thread your reputation is slowly becoming less credible for a tendency to jump the gun with little to show, or statements that have to be walked back, ultimately discouraging them from playing into the guessing game...
Is this the guy who said he heard Geno was going to be DLC forever ago? And knew Isaac was going to be an AT?
It's not that I don't understand your viewpoint, but I feel that's putting too much responsibility on fatman when at the end of the day he's just another speculating fan like the rest of us.

And what reputation do I have aside from being a dottering Geno nut who overthinks everything? I could get hit by a bus and nobody here would ever know. I'm not an icon. I don't do streams. I don't make videos. I don't create anything aside from posts. My competitive record is secluded to a "wow, who cares" part of the Midwest. I'm like one of the five Millennials that doesn't even have a Twitter or Instagram account. I'm a nobody and I say this time and time again. To repeat what I said a few weeks ago, I just share things that I'm allowed to share from people who actually matter. It's stuff to talk about. It's interesting. My overall relevance to the Smash community is an ant fart dispersed by a ceiling fan. Yes, I'm kind of a garbage human being but that's not exactly a stunning revelation.
