ganondorf is losing to the joker in that gamespot comp by 700 votes.... WTFFFFFFFFFFFFF, luckily there is 4 more days of voting. Our king will take his rightful place as the greatest villain

I got 9/26 today. I beat SoupaSonic, Peachkid and Solid Jake. Lost to Biskit and Ninjalink. Peachkid was definitely my best win.

Friendlied with Jash, Dazwa, Icylight and Punishment Divine. Did really well in all of those. Didn't get to MM much as I'd hoped though. :/ Competition was stacked though. Nothing but NJ/NY and NE PR players there. It was rough lol. I think I actually placed higher than some of our PR. D: Poor Biskit got 9th and Fatal got, like, 6th. One of, if not the toughest tourney I've been to.

So, I finished gathering KO data for Meta Knight, including Gerudo-followups KO%. Just gonna have to make a thread.

Amazing job Verm like always. I know that if you one day finally learn to deal with those nerves and can take Ganon in the mind as a top tier when you play, you can place even better than this already great placing for using Ganon. And how good did you do vs Fatal and NinjaLink?

Good stuff Verm.

I just got 33rd out of 118 at School is in Session... I used Ganon occasionally but mainly stuck to MK.

I MM'd/friendlied quite a few people with Ganon though... I beat Tyr (Best lucas?) 2-0 in a $MM. And I took Count's Diddy to last hit both games in a $MM, but I still lost 0-2 unfortunately. I definitely see what Fonz means about the Diddy matchup though, it's really not horrible if you know how to play it. I also beat Renegade's Ike/Marth a bunch of times in friendlies, but these friendlies were pretty lulzy so whatever. I won the rest of my $MMs, and I generally ***** friendlies too.

I'd also like to note that me and Allied almost took a game off of Atomsk and Zucco when I used Ganon. I should just stick to Ganon in dubz... he's a good teammate if you have a good partner >.>

The fatalities looks awesome so far.
Most of the fatalities in the last couple games were aweful and lame.

One can only hope the characters have 2 fatalities each this time, instead of 1.

Best of all is that it'll be more like the 2D ones.

I know Verm likes MK (especially the older games), but aren't there more Ganon Mains who digs MK?

There's actually a 10000 vote difference, maybe I should accuse you of being drunk. Every vote towards Ganondorf is worth it imo. Seeing as this is a Ganondorf thread I thought it'd be a good place to scrape up a few extra votes, yeah? Idiot.

Anyway.. bit late, but you should come to Robocop Verm.. If you can beat legit American players, you'd **** AUS.. get a buddy pass with m2k or something, you're in the same region as him are you? It'd be so good to see a Ganon main **** everyone in a national tournament, since all the AUS Ganon mains aren't good enough ie seaDORF and I

Haha good stuff Verm. I gotta say that you've always seemed to be the most moderator-ly out of any of us, if that means anything. (I just made it up so it probably doesn't lol *shrug*)


In unrelated (?) news--I'm not sure if you guys have read it elsewhere, but I'm officially maining Ganon in tournaments again. And if you see me at a tournament, I'll be carrying around a big, black, evil-looking book entitled "The Ganonic Grimoire" (hmm wonder where I got the name).

This profane collection of pages will contain everything there is to know about Ganondorf. At least, everything that I deem useful and worthy of this fel text. Trivial knowledge such as "how to instant warlock punch" won't be included--because everyone knows how to do it obviously.

It will also contain extremely advanced matchup data on every single character in the game, including each player's options in very specific situations that occur during each matchup. With the goal for the Ganon, obviously, to put himself into more advantageous situations and to avoid disadvantageous ones. Because you can't avoid disadvantageous situations until you actually recognize them. Basically, these pages will contain every character's weaknesses (nay, their very souls), so that we can fully take advantage of them.

The main reason I'm doing this is because I felt that I never really tried to work on matchups with Ganon, and I just relied on my talent to win. I realized that, ignoring the tier list, Ganon has a ****-load of potential--assuming you're willing to take him to an extremely technical level. How could he not, when almost every move he has is a kill move? Which is an over-generalization of course, but I'm sure you guys understand what I mean.

So expect some results soon--except now with :ganondorf: instead of :metaknight:.


Finally......In the Ganonic Grimoire, I drew a picture of a Ganondorf sparta kicking the air on FD. It's a pretty boring picture in itself, right? Well the reason I drew it is so that every Ganon main that I meet can add something to the picture and sign their name at the bottom. Somewhat of a collaborative Ganon drawing. Obviously, the next Ganon main that I see gets to choose exactly what Ganondorf is sparta kicking. Let that be an incentive to come out to a tourney with me! Get your name down in epic Ganondorf history!
