I was bored at my friend Aileen's house, so I decided to use her CC and hop on WiFi. I've won 2/3 matches so far. My first one was against that Texas Olimar, Denti. I took game 1 off of him. He took game 2 off of me. I had a stock lead on hiim game three until I buffered a spotdodge off the edge (why I swore of WiFi). Went to last stock last hit when he got a Usmash. Could've had him, too.

Second was against a Wario from the Zodiac Braves named Qu-e. Won 2-0 against his Wario. Third was against Way-mas, whom I won against 2-1. I love Wario. <3 But I can already feel the WiFi poison.

I'm beginning to think Wario cannot win against Ganon. So far, I've been able to beat Or-ion, Koo-laid, Way-mas, Qu-e, Flu-x, Slyst-uff and Zeb-ra's Warios. I dare say it's only 65:35. Maybe even 60:40. >:U

Wario is HARD if they're campy, but with patience, one good string on Wario = insta-death. D: For instance, on 0ri0n, I did a DAir > DAir > Gerudo > Gerudo > pivot grab tech-chase > Fsmash FOR THE MOTHER****ING WIN.

Until I get some sort of stability going on with my schedule, I'd request to be considered inactive. With school starting, there's way too much I have to worry about that I can confortably contribute to the smash (Ganon) experience. My courseload shouldn't be too terrible with the exception of my graduate course, which will suck really, really hard. Keep fighting strong, Ganons! I'll be back soon enough.

Also, band camp was amazing. You get hammered a lot, which is always a good thing.

My favorite string is grab release to run away and taunt. They're reaction is always funny.

Anyways, take it from someone who lives in a region that's full of really good warios. The matchup is a pain in the ***. It's not among Ganon's worst matchups, but it's still really easy for Wario if he's not playing like an idiot. Wario's aerial mobility is simply ******** and it's like 3x easier for him to punish any mistake Ganon makes (compared to the rest of the cast).

In fact, half of the stuff that Wario punishes in this matchup aren't punishible by most of the rest of the cast. And until you fight a lot of good warios OFFLINE, you won't even realize that you're about to get punished for something until you get punished for it.

The only reason this matchup isn't horrible is because Ganon can do his Ganon stuff pretty well in this matchup. Grab release Fsmash doesn't hurt either... though you're probably not going to ever grab a good Wario (not without taking +50% due to failed attempts, anyway)

Most of those guys were offline, save for Zebra, Waymas and Que. I know Wario can do some seriously gay crap, but with as many Warios as I've played, I've come to learn that if you space Nair properly, Wario can do literally nothing without putting in serious work.

Ko0laid mains Pit/MK/Wario and he usually places top 3, if not first. His Wario is legit, so I definitely know hard Wario can hit Ganon if you're careless. But just like one of Wario's strings can eff Ganon up, one string on Wario will result in death. His best options are DAir, NAir > grab and SH UAirs. He just doesn't have a lot of options to circumvent Ganon's massive NAir range.

Nah, seems to me that you're basing that off of your own skilled compared to Warios.

Wario's a pretty neutral match-up for Ganon.

But yeah, full hop NAir pretty much wacks all of Wario's approaches, and puts you in safe state. Getting a grab at 100% on most stages is a stock for Wario.
