You cannot mildly bind yourself to Ganon. You must allow the dark lord to strangle your very soul with his godly hand, and let his power become your power. You must let this happen, if you want to become one of us.

Today's tourney went decently. My ride didn't get to my house 'til around 4:30 AM, so I had to wait up for her. I endedvup getting 3 hours of sleep.

I beat Hobo (Snake/Falco; moderate level) and Kiwi (Yoshi; high level), but lost to D0om's MK and Xza-x's Falco/MK. The loss against D0om really bothered me. I took game one off of his MK and everybody there went absolutely wild. He took me to Frigate and it went last stock last hit until Frigate flipped and killed me. I mean it REALLY bothered me when that happened.

Took Xza-x to last stock last hit, but he got the chainspike on me.

Played Zuc-co and Inu-i, too. Went about even with Zuc-co's Lucario and was initially losing to Inu-i before I started getting irritated at my fatigue burdening me and went to the bathroom and splashed cold water on my face. I came back and won four games in a row, several two stocks.

I then MMed AD-HD. No johns, as he was incredible, but even though I took him to high percent last stock, I was so fscking tired and ready to just keel over. Did beat alt characters though.

Overall I think I placed 17/44. It was a huge tournament. I placed above a lot of our PR players, with most of the NJ/NY players taking the top spots. I'd be far more satisfied with the turnout if I had not been so wrongfully gayed by Frigate. That's going to eat at me for a while. Being so close to taking out one of the best MK's on the EC just to be screwed.

Oh, I also played 0ri0n's Diddy. We only played a few matches, but I 3-stocked it one match. xP

I also omitted names to prevent namesearches.

Good job Verm at that tourney. Why does it always have to be a Falco who you lose to?

Pretty good Verm. Start pulling the trigger on these last-hit matches and you'll really start making a mess :p

I also had a tournament today, and I realized my Ganon's getting kinda sloppy. I've been sandbagging uncontrollably with him for some reason. I realized that I need to actually start putting in some work if I want my Ganon to keep developing, because I've pretty much reached my plateau considering the amount of work I'm putting in (basically zero).

So Ganons.

The doubles tournament, for the most part, was amazing.
My partner and I went double Ganon in a 10-team round robin tournament, and beat 8 of the teams with pure double Ganon.

It was awesome.
Double teaming a Dedede on Delfino was incredible, by the way. 0-80 in 5 seconds.

I haven't done **** with Ganon in tournament lately. I've kinda been losing the motivation I used to have. Probably because there aren't many players in my state, and I play them all the time, so they know how I play and how to **** Ganon. Because of that, I've been placing ****tier at tournaments at losing confidence. They're all still convinced I'm the best Ganon in the US though. I've been going Falco along with Ganon at tourneys more, too.

This probably means nothing coming from a nobody like me, but just going on YouTube videos you're probably my favourite 'Dorf to watch and one of the best I've seen Breezy : )

I have a tournament next week that I'm considering using Ganondorf for a significant amount of. Been using the character for over a year now, but only just recently gained enough motivation to learn his more difficult techniques and further my game with him. Considering I've heard you REALLY have to main the character in order to know why he's so bad...

If you really want to get good with him, then focus more on learning how to space properly, and how to mix up your game. The fundamentals are so much more important to learn with Ganondorf than any of his little tricks. Once you have those mastered, and I mean reeally mastered, then start learning how to do things like FoG, flipman, chainchoking and all that.

Thank you for the compliment though, it means a lot coming from anybody ^_^

I usually always do, but I was playing like garbage all day. Aside from the match against D00m. I seriously am not one to complain about losses, but that's the one that would've counted that day, and it's the one I got gayed the hardest on.

Everyone in the venue knows and agreed I didn't deserve to lose that match at Frigate. He made a really risk move charging an Fsmash and as soon as he started, the ****ed alarm started going off so I had to jump, and when I did, I got caught under the stage (which has never happened before; go figure). My choke > iDA was guaranteed for the win, but that happened. :/ Still gonna take me a while to get over that. One of the few times I've been legitimately frustrated.

Xza-z was smart. He knew not to laser me or attack at all at low percents. He just continually went for the grab. The only way I was able to escape it a few times is I DAir'd him and forced him to NAir or attack out of it to break the chain.
