edit: if you had made any effort to kill me i would have lost that game. for some reason your marth doesnt do anything but go for cheap kills and your other characters reject kills of any sort. you never try to knock me off stage or edgeguard me or anything.

well maybe my way of trying to kill people isjust a lot different, like with shine usmash, but i still try to kll the other guy. so itss like different but not necesarily worse.like the CPUs inmario pparty that try to trace the drawing of the goomba or whatever and end up drawing a replica of vincent van gogh or something.

never thought of that did u foxlisk

speedrunning isn't brainless
well. huge amounts of it are. executing the actual speedrun is brainless, all the interesting mental work is done between runs, trying to figure out better routes/new exploits/etc. The running itself is pretty mechanical.

yall are whack, learning mechanics and getting really good at something is just as fun as outsmarting nerds in melee

castlevania 64 is the game for you then.

Camera angle of death, lol

Im also a control freak. If the controls of the game are choppy or unresponsive i don't like it. I loved symphony of the night tho, so maybe ill give it a shot, unless you were kidding

I was joking, don't play it. It's terrible.

Also lol soloist

The old castlevania games are pretty good though (except Simon's quest). Especially super castlevania 4.

Jet force jemini is a beastly game. It's hard as **** to speedrun though.

Nooby fox question: I was messing around with shineturnaround stuff today while being salty that I didn't go to Zenith, and I started upthrowing to shineturnaround upair - which effectively changes what side the second hit comes out.

I don't really play with anyone, let alone people who SDI out of upthrow upair, but can you use this to trick people into SDIing the "wrong way" (by mixing it with upthrow-shine-noturnaround-upair), or is that not how the SDI works? Alternatively, assuming I don't jump out of shine optimally, do I lose too many frames while they're in hitstun to pull it off? Or does everyone already do this because nothing's really new under the sun?

Thanks in advance.

The direction of the kicks doesn't really make a difference. The shine affects the timing of the SDI more than anything else.

uh, i always found the SDI to be more of a reaction than a prediction, so i don't think that'd mess anybody up...
but it looks flashy :\

I remember playing him at Apex. He's very smart, and was pretty decent from what I remember.
