Its basically the reason i don't play Reach anymore. Honestly every other aspect of the game is good. Bloom just ruins the game.

i watched as told by ginger every morning for a year straight in 9th grade. i watched every episode. my favorite character is mipsy and hoodsie and i used to hate will, darren's older brother. and blake was a ***** but he a weston kid so its cool

After 3 shots the bullets don't go anywhere near straight anymore lol. I've never had a problem with it. It took a bit of getting used to and it's undeniably more lame than H2/3 shooting but it's far from Reach's biggest problem.

DC bro come on, after the bullets stop going straight to the center of the reticule, where they go becomes increasingly random, you have no control over it.
It's definitely Reach's biggest problem, every single DMR battle is more or less determined by some amount of luck. That's not good.

afro's point is that while this may be true, you could be timing ur shots perfectly, and ur opponent (a noob) could simply spam and hold the trigger down or w.e. it is to shoot rapidly, and even tho the shots are supposed to be random, he COULD kill u for NOT timing his shots(less skill)
a game where a less skilled player can win is not as competative as one where only the better player will win

I need to beat Afro in a Melee money match in the unforeseeable future to allow his debt to me from an online side bet for M2k vs Brood to be settled. Please provide me with all information as to how to defeat him, for I am a Melee n00b. Originally it was going to be a manly Snake Ditto in Brawl, but we both have become tired of Brawl. I, being the better man, have decided to step into Melee to combat Afro rather than demand payment. I wish not only to bath in a tub of his money, but drink the salty tears of failure from his eyes.

I have access to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, so time is not a problem. I also have the Rocky Sound Track, so motivation isn't either.

lol what game are you playing? Getting 5 accurate shots out of a dmr takes around 2-3 seconds. But to each his own. Bungie says they replaced the BR with the DMR for balance and after the initial wtf phase from H3 to Reach I got used to it. Hell I even like it better now because it shows how bad everyone on Xbox Live is lol.
I like the Needle Rifle better anyways. It makes an obnoxious sound and I like to make people angry.
All in all Reach is only fun when you get Blood Gulch or Ivory Tower. Every other map is terrible in addition to the fact that everyone on Xbox Live is bad makes for a boring game.
Long live Halo 2. I love having that little H2 sign by my name.
