speaking of sticks
I'm looking for a new stick but i'm too lazy to just buy parts and make one myself right now(by lazy i mean I don't have that kind of spare time due to school and work)

what is the best stick I can go for right now? ps3 or dual modded if possible

Yeah, I was thinking of picking up an eightarc stick myself! I have been an exclusive pad player my whole life because I'm not use to a stick at all, but I really want to get use to playing on a stick anyway!

Also, I pre-ordered Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations, so I'll give you guys my two cents about it come Tuesday!

Nah Qanba still exists

EightArc is just their brand in North America. Or a partner that rebrands all their stuff with shinier reflective stickers. Or both.

There's some real minor differences in start button placement but the case and PCBs are like identical. Really.

Although it'd probably be cheaper just to mod your existing stick for dual compatibility. Maybe.

obv? :010:

Oh, my! I have forgotten to mention my thoughts on Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations! Quick rundown!

Alright, the game is soooooooooo pretty! Like, My Little Pony pretty! Can't get enough of the animations when there are assist characters on screen! Crazy stuff!

Combos are done with a single button, so there isn't much to practice! However, cancelling your combos when your opponent uses their substitution to escape is something to look out for!

Building up chakra is pretty fast, so I'm glad it isn't like building up meters like in DBZ Budokai 3 or DBZ Infinite World!

I only played a couple of online matches and there is some bad lag at the moment! Though there is some variety of characters that are played!

Overall, if you are a Naruto fan then you are most likely gonna like this game! Not sure how deep this game is, so for the hardcore gamers out there it is hard to say!

Did I mention how pretty this game is?! Cause it is!

Not enough time, unfortunately, between SFxT and P4A/GG this summer. Plus no one I know locally is getting it. I had to drop BB for the same reasons.

I do want to support the project though, so I'll buy it no matter what.

I admittedly won't likely be getting Skullgirls. Despite what I may say, I don't hate the game and can't deny it looks solid. However, I don't really have a bunch of spare money, and last time I bought a fighting game off PSN, it was Arcana Heart 3 and it cost me $30, and well, I've kind of been regretting it for over a year and a bit now.

Yeah, a friend of mine let me borrow AH3, and I've literally never even opened the case. It looks like a fine game, but there's only so many hours in a day.

I also think AH3 is a good game. I just don't have a lot of fun playing it, haha.

Yeah, it's like...it's one of those games where you can't call it a BAD game because it's not, but it just feels strict, kinda wooden, and well...not all that fun. And plus, it kind of seems like there was only a scene for it for about a month.

Homing is a an awesome mechanic and if I ever make a fighting game one character will have that ability.

The Arcana system is really cool as well.

And 1f low is stupid fun.

But I just don't care for it. :/

Anyone going to DL Skullgirls today? I'm still in class, but I probably will when I get home.

Netplay is really nice.

Not a lot of people because it just came out. I think I ran into a ragequiter already though.

I kind of don't like the netplay menus.

Already love Ms. Fortune, I haven't messed around with teams yet.

I downloaded it and messed around with a friend in training. It's actually feeling good, I might give it a legitimate chance.

Not even close to picking a main yet lol. Although Valentine is hot, she has a run, double jump and an air dash, so those put her in the lead for me.

Ms. Fortune.

Run, double jump, air dash, bad puns, everything else she says, decapitation shenanigans.

I don't even need to try the other characters. :3

I still will though. I like playing solo but I may find a use for a partner or two. Valentine and Peacock might have the best chance, I'll try them out next.

Skullgirls is OUT?!

MUST. PURCHASE.

...when I get home from work. :c

I know I'm trying Painwheel right off the bat. Definitely going to spend a lot of time in the lab with everyone else, though.

I'm going to have a helluva time playing this game on my puny pad. Six button interface with only two empty slots for macros? Siiiiiiiigh.

Didn't know there was so much interest for this game on SWF. I may have to reconsider getting it now that I know that people out there will be playing it, lol.
