I don't think custom songs will mess up the replay at all. Music hacks are only used to re-direct one music file to another of your choice, whether it be one from Brawl or elsewhere. It's not like the match won't load just because you don't have the same music file, it just won't have the same music.

Yes...yes, he did... but that was after about a month of not playing the game... and I literally missed a couple shield drop dash usmashes... among other things. Like...missed... run past and whiff the air, etc.
I played like trash, causing me to make that "I'm not going to tourneys until I can practice" post.
But anyway, Halberd is...just another MK. A good one, sure, but not that hard to read and punish...and doesn't understand matchups too well. No idea how he won the tournament, but honestly? i don't really care.

Lightning, I would suggest classical conditioning. I think that's best.
Take any electrical device with a power cord. Cut the power cord near the device, so you have exposed wire. Next time he starts having his little happy time, grab your wire (make sure you have an electrical tape-wrapped portion that you can hold), plug it into the wall outlet, and then jam the other end into his arm.
It will not seriously hurt him (eh...we've all been shocked by a 110 volt outlet before...I hope), but it will certainly leave a lasting impression.
No awkward "heart to hearts"

You were the FIRST person I played at the tournament as MK, I hadn't warmed up at all and was sandbagging you because you were johning the WHOLE TIME as we played and I STILL 3 STOCKED YOU. I honestly can't beleive you have the nerve to post something like this.
How about we do another Money match after you warm up and see if you can even get me down to one stock?
I didn't respect you before but now Im REALLY offended that you'd get ****ing ***** and then try and say Im "just another MK". Funny how if someone like M2K 3 stocked you, you would just jump on their **** saying they're amazing.

BTW I ****ing love Samboner and I'm glad he's finally getting the recognition he deserves. I understand his pain because I got good off of wifi and wasnt recongized in my state until recently. I also used be in his crew and play with him quite a bit.

Agreed... I was out of line by dissing you behind your back, and for that, I apologize.
And actually, nah, I've never thought m2k was all THAT amazing, either... he does well with a good character, but loses to matchups he doesn't know... I went pretty even with him the first tournament I ever used Fox. now, his knowledge of the game, and Smash in general is actually quite good, and I respect him quite a bit for that. He's also (unlike popular opinion) a decent guy, when you talk to him.
And yeah, assuming we both go to another tourney, I'll MM you again... no problem.
Hal, you're a decently cool guy... too cocky, but cool. You're just incredibly predictable in play (sandbagging would make it moreso...). That's what I go on. I already said I played like trash... that's not a john... that's a statement of how I was playing. very poorly. You outplayed me, yes... and I won't/can't argue with that. I lost to every MK I played that day... which (ask anybody) has never been a problem for me. I don't respect your play THAT much (other than you coming basically out of nowhere and winning) because of the predictability...
But to end this little argument, for what I've said, yes, I was out of line. I just hate it when fads like "omg _____ is amazing and won a tournament" come up. They are all ridiculous and go to show that Brawl is still a pretty random game. I misdirected this sentiment towards you, and I should not have, so I apologize. Should you have further issue with me, I would ask that you place it in a PM and send it over, rather than clogging a Fox thread with drama.

Its all good and fine, I'm not gonna dwell on it.
Anyway concernng my playstyle and predictableness, I play the way I play because it's fun not because it's effective. Brawl is a slow and boring game and not forcing your opponents hand makes the game dumb and slow. I could play a much more effective and smart way if I wanted to, but its not necessary to beat the vast majority of characters by a huge margin anyway. I took a lot of ridiculous unecessary risks in our matches that on paper wouldn't make sense but I do them because it makes the game more enjoyable. (im sure M2K does the same thing)
Anyway, I dont wanna take the spotlight away from sam, so Im out.

Im refering to brawl, where M2K plays extremely aggressively and its not necessarily the most effective thing to do in every matchup. In Melee you get more reward in general for approaching, but in Brawl even as MK, being careful about your approach is generally the best strategy.m2k chaingrabs relentlessly in Melee friendlies.

they do mess up the wii. i went and tried it on my wii and the **** thing froze. its either the music or the texture hacks.

Well it's not the texture hacks. If anything it is the music hacks... which I don't why should be acting up. Anyways, yeah, the whole sharing the same code thing to record replays sounds good.

And guess what guys! SAME PLACING AT THE TOURNAMENT. I coulda gone higher considering the Falco I lost too wasn't as good as the one I beat earlier that day. I even beat him on his own CP, Japes.
However there were more people this time, so my placing went up percentage-wise.
