That's dumb. SBR generally comes up with good rules, but when they fail there's no reason to agree because "well they're the SBR".
Maybe you're right, though, at the moment SBR's stance is that there is no official ban, but wish for TO's to experiment with the idea of banning Metaknight. So their decision has been to leave it with us (According to Mew2King). So I don't think my faith has been misplaced.
Although, what I said before, I'll admit, has changed considerably over the last month.
If you look at all the
reccomended ruleset, the SBR stresses that we should only refer to their list as a
guide. Right now, my home state is working on an adapted ruleset that is using 10+ starters!
They expect people to consider what they have to say seriously, but at the same time, not follow their rulings to the dot. Nobody can expect that their reccomended ruleset could possibly cater for every tournament, and more importantly, the types of players they draw.
But like I said before. I'm not
against banning Metaknight anymore, but
I'm no advocate of it either.
