MK is not going to get banned.
Whatever, if he was:

Everyone would play snake and the same thing would happen.

If he wasn't:

The game would continue to be broken and shallow. You get a few crappy characters to play with rather than about ten good ones.

I really don't understand why one of the arguments people use for banning meta knight is "he has no counters". While this may be true, tell me of a true counter for marth? How about a true counter for ROB? MK has no bad matchups, but if he's banned other characters will be nearly the same. I'm not saying MK is an even character with say Marth or ROB, but I am saying that the "no counters" arguement, is not a good one. If the argument was "he has no near even matchups, and so players with less skill can beat those with more skill", then the argument would be good. NEEDING a counter to not merit a ban is wrong. Play a character that goes near even with him, be better than your opponent, and win.

Marth goes 6:4/even/4:6 with a lot of people. And I honestly think Marth>R.O.B overall. What makes rob great is his MK like recovery, his dsmash, and strong kill moves. Marth is...so well rounded. The problem is MK that he doesn't have any EVEN matchups. EVERY one is his advantage to one degree or another.

Personally, I do feel like he has some near even matchups. Do you ever feel like when you lose the an MK player, "That guy is worse than me"? When I'm playing DDD, yes, I might feel that way. But if my snake loses to an MK player at a tournament, I just feel like I got outplayed. It had nothing to do with the characters that were chosen, it was the players. MK has even enough matchups where skill determines who wins.

I think the thing that gives meta knight such an advantage over the other characters is not only his speed and recovery, but his uber priority as well. Not to say that you can't get around any of this, you just need to time your moves correctly and shield whenever possible, not to forget mid-air or ground dodging as well.

which is to say that you have to play perfect and be a good amount better than the person youre playing against to have a chance
