Okay, will someone please take a look at Tabuu's MotionEtc file? He won't stop crashing when walking and it's bugging me. I've tried and tried, looked at the frames for his animations (they have 50 each) and I'm officially stumped. Pretty please?
Please, guys? I'd really like some help in figuring this out.

that would tell you if it's a problem with the MotionEtc file itself. try it and see what happens.

another suggestion would be to export the animations you've done and import them into a clean MotionEtc to see if that helps. if that doesn't fix it, then it's a problem with the animations themselves.

It's just the walk. Everything else works fine.

The walks are custom. It's the first frame of wait, rotated, and animated to travel slowly using Translation Z.

Yes, but I think it's one of the animations itself that causes the freezing.

I got a clean FitGanonMotionEtc and studied Ganondorf's walk animations and looked at what made him walk, and discovered that I had, in fact, applied Translation Z on the wrong bone. It didn't move in game and froze when trying to loop back to the beginning of the animation. I didn't test it while moving his TransN yet, but I assume that will fix it.

I replaced the other animations that worked except for that Side B that kept crashing. I think I'll have to re-create that animation myself.

I guess I will then. My only issue is, And I repeat, I cannot export models from 3DS max sucessfully. Even If I did, I lack the ability to MAKE a good model.

Hmm... Perhaps I should contact Gengar84. If I cant do it, HE definately could.
What do you guys think?

In case you're wondering, these are all just Ganon's sword animations. It may seem like the easy way out, but believe me, it took almost four hours just to get them working semi-properly.

If you don't want him to sink in the ground anymore, use the XRotN bone's translation to move him up in every animation.

Yeah, I'll mess around with that in a bit. The animations need some tweaking, but for me, it's fine right now. :p
Why not make a balanced version as well as a version that can fight MAX Onlslaught Falcon?

I don't think that would happen until after the initial balanced version comes out, though. But I'll keep that in mind.
Kinda makes me wanna create a broken Tabuu too. XD I'd call it Intense Tabuu (after the difficulty where he's fastest, strongest and cheapest).

Yeah, and make every hit a OHKO. :glare:

I don't understand why the creators thought that would be challenging. It's not challenging, it's just broken.

Or you can skip on the Max Onslaught because those are getting really old now.

Someone needs to make a slow, extremely heavy-type boss character for once.

I think instead of "Off Waves" as the final smash it should be when tabuu gets huge and only shows his head and shoots lazers out of his eyes. But "Off Waves" should be his N-Special but faster and a little less powerful and not in the center of the stage.

Except the Off Waves are his most powerful attack and thus more suited for a FS.

I think I'm more hyped for Bongo Bongo, personally. That's gonna be epic.
If everything goes well, he will probably be the most accurate to his original appearance as far as how he takes damage, but some problems regarding hitboxes is forcing me to change how he works significantly.

He'll still be the same drum-beating ghost he's always been, just with some new moves.

By the way, whatever happened to that Armoured Link model? I thought that was going to be released by now.

it seems all I have tested like to be grabbed over olimar. tried lucas too but there, only dusknoir liked to be grabbed, the rest froze.
I just want to see a connection, then things can be fixed
It also seems that X/Yrot Bone (with ThrowN) has something to do with it, not HipN bone

Does anyone remember who was making Driftloom? I think that was his name.. :glare: I havent played much pkmn lately. I just remembered that. Same for gardevoir

As for Gardevoir, Leafbarret was making it until something or other happened. But didn't Poke Fan start making a Gardevoir on that forum of yours?

I'm giving ideas to Eternal Yoshi about putting Mantis over Project Mewtwo. We just need a correct model, and vertexing the proper crap on a Snake model is to hard. So, we need his model from MGS:TTS, which was for gamecube. We don't know if the model may work in Brawl and if it's even usable. But I'll try.

Mantis is so AWESOME. Like, really cool.
If somone told me if gamecube models are even usable in Brawl, tell me. I sure hope...
