I'm giving ideas to Eternal Yoshi about putting Mantis over Project Mewtwo. We just need a correct model, and vertexing the proper crap on a Snake model is to hard. So, we need his model from MGS:TTS, which was for gamecube. We don't know if the model may work in Brawl and if it's even usable. But I'll try.

Mantis is so AWESOME. Like, really cool.
If somone told me if gamecube models are even usable in Brawl, tell me. I sure hope...
I think the farthest Gamecube game models are useful is for vertexing. Like Mewtwo, I think, I could be wrong. Other than that, I doubt it. :ohwell:

Oh well, then I'll have to vertex a Snake model with a Gas Mask...
Luckily I got Mantis' actual textures from the game, thanks to Friedslick with his Godly texture ripping abilities.

Has anyone tried ripping Wii Modern Warfare models?
I mean, it is a Wii game, it may use MDL0 files.

Modern Warfare soldier as one of Snake's multiple textures :cool:

It doesn't use MDL0 models.

Okay, guys. I got some good news and some bad news.

Good news is: I fixed Tabuu's walking. :] I just need to make it faster. Screens coming later.

Bad news? Now he crashes when footstooling other characters. :(

The OP in general is outdated.
The Gray Fox link up there is the Alpha release.

Why Tabuu crashes when being footstooled is a mystery. Is it a Screech of Death freeze or a silent freeze?


Anyway, I'm still animating Lyn. All of her walking, running, jumping, falling, crouching, footstooling, and shielding animations are done, as well as all 3 parts of her jab.

Also reasy to test Nair and ftilt.

Are you thinking about Mantis over project Mewtwo? I can get somone to vertex Shiek's model or an ammopackless headbandtailess Snake model into a Gas Mask.

You caught onto my other thing.
I left Crawling animations in the motion.pac since 0.2X. XD

Footstooling others requires a ThrowN bone and it to be used.

Do me a favor and try to grab your targets.

I just hate it how amazing projects like Tabuu get stumped because of the character its over. If alloys had everything a normal character has then we would be all set.

Aparrently I managed to learn how to make the extra bones move things.

Aparrently altering the node index to match the target polygon does just that.

I THINK FrameMatrix has a strong impact at what the bone controls.

So I guess dummy bones aren't just dummy anymore, huh.

I'm curious as to what the answer to my question is. Someone told me the limit was 300MB, but I have a tough time swallowing that.

I'm going to do an odd experiment.

I'm going to rig ALL of Gray Fox's extra bones and test homing attack, as it chooses a random bone to lock on to the target. Results tomorrow.
