Have you ever gotten into a fight? Tell the tales of your exploits here!

Disclaimer: I do not support fighting in any way, shape, or form (except Melee). However, I do think it makes for good stories in retrospect.

I've only gotten in one fight in my entire life, really. It was in middle school and my friend Victor was being harassed by some kid who wouldn't let him catch the bus. I thought it was ridiculous. Victor and I were on the same bus, and I knew his dad was pretty hardline, and didn't often give him a break. So in an effort to help him get to the bus before it left, I tried to break things up peacefully. Yeah, didn't work. The kid turned his back to me and continued to harass my friend, I think he was trying to rip his backpack off or something. I then leaped into the air and proceeded to knee him in his spine. He fell to the ground and didn't really move after that. I just knelt beside him and said "Don't do that again" and ran off to catch the bus with Victor.

I was a Falcon main before I even knew it.

Ohh jeez...did he get paralyzed or any thing?

well, kids at my school (catholic) would get into spars, and when ever I got into them I lost. :/

Then again, there where some "disabled" people who where causing a ruckus at a bus stop. Being the person I was, I got into a verbal fight with them. When the bus came, I said 2 things to them

"Whats the matter scared?" and "U mad?"

Terrifying thing was that I was wearing my uniform.

Nah, that kid was back to being obnoxious the very next day. But I don't think he bothered Victor or I after that :D

Not cool enough have been in a fight, but I could probably hold my own.

I'm as peaceful as they come. I refuse to be violent in any way outside of playing some video games. But I don't like blood, so most M rated games don't interest me. Anyway, I don't hit people.

That said, I was in a fight once. Even stringy, weak me. It was back in 5th grade, and was pretty embarrassing. My friend and I had been going through a tense streak, and tensions bubbled over one afternoon in my backyard. We were pretty much rolling around on the ground just kind of shoving each other. Neither of us were in any way athletic or physically competent at all. We didn't even know how to punch, apparently. My mom came out and broke us up. I think she was more embarrassed at how terrible we were than even angry. I don't recall getting in much trouble. My friend had been going through tough times with his family, and he'd been taking it out on me, so my parents recognized that it was inevitable, and probably sort of necessary. The closest thing to an injury either of us got was that my glasses were bent, so we had to drive down to the mall to Lenscrafters to get them fixed. My friend and I didn't talk to each other for 3 years, but we're good now. We don't hang out, but we're friendly when we run into each other.

Nobody ever loses fights apparently. Seriously, I've heard dozens of "Oh, I kneed this loser in the back" stories, but literally not one "yeah, I got punched in the face and was unable to retaliate."

My elementary school playground was like a warzone.
We had a number square thing which only really served as a gladiatorial arena.

That said, I'd have thought growing up along with my friends would cause all this to stop. Seems the people I befriend have a knack for getting into trouble. I never start fights but hey, my friends are a bunch of jerk macho guys so I guess it's inevitable.

I don't think I want to go into details though.

Yeah. The only time people admit that they lost a fight is if they got jumped.

Never gotten into fights, but I have been punched and crap without fighting back. Not onlt do I not like fighting, but I probably suck at it too so it's best to just get my friends to back me up.

I've been in 4 fights in my life.

The 1st was over Mario 64,they guy who owned it was really pissing me off so I told him I was keeping it.Then fight ensues and I get my *** handed to me.(I must have taken like 15 punches before it was broken up)

The 2nd was when I was playing football,I slide tackle a guy and he fell on me and winded me.He then punched me in the face when I was on the ground.Being winded I couldn't stand up and retaliate. After the match he was slagging me saying I didn't hit him back.So I proceeded to swing my school bag into his legs which tripped him up and I hit him a number of times in the face till I was pulled off him.

3rd was just a wrestling match that got outta hand, they guy freaked out when I hit him accidentially. So I put him in a choke and punched him in the face/stomach a few times until he started crying.

4th was when me and my mate Conor were walking through a dodgy area,we ran into some scumbags who tried to rob us.Me and him were thinking the same thing and movie style,we both straight kicked the biggest guy in the chest. We ran after that because there were 6 of them and 2 of us.I've never run so fast in my life.

Yeah I'm not much of a fighter I try to avoid confrontation unless completely necessary

In 8th grade I beat up a queer who was queering off around me. Pushed him into a table and punched him in the lip. His lip busted open and 3 guys grabbed me from behind (im a decently big dude). The teacher told him to go to the nurse and tell the nurse he tripped and fell, since my teacher understood he instigated the fight.

In 2nd grade I got my *** beat up several times real bad by one of my neighbors. He was this white kid who swore he was ****ing black, and always tried ****ing with my ****. He would peg my dog with snowballs, scratch my parent's cars, all sorts of ****. I fought that kid at least three time that year, losing all of the fights except one. The one time I kicked his *** I knocked his glasses off and grabbed him by the shirt and just kept wailing. He couldn't see **** so he just kept hitting my chest while I was going to town on his face. The other times he would just ****ing destroy me.

My elementary school playground was like a warzone.

My neighborhood that I lived in in elementary and middle school was like this. The kids there were violent, I got in quite a few fights though they never directly involved me. My brother was the one that had a lot of conflict with some of the kids, so I'd get pulled in trying to defend him. I was a scrawny lil girl so there's no way I could actually ever stop them or overpower them but I couldn't ever just watch my brother struggle to fend off all the other boys so I'd jump in and knock the kid on top of him in the stomach, but the problem with that was that then their fury would be directed at me so my brother would get more aggressive in attempts to protect me. My brother and I were usually the ones limpin away.

I'd say the worst about fighting when you are younger though is being bitten. Young kids are biters man, I'll take bloody noses and bruises rather than teeth digging into me any day. That **** is painful.

What a ****ty, unprofessional teacher.... lmao. Dude I've gotten in more fights than anyone I know but there's not a single time I haven't regretted it.. And i'm sure basically every fight i've been in was over something more important than whatever a kid in 8th grade is instigating you about(a queer queering you lol..)...and you didn't even face the consequences for it. Tax dollars getting washed down the toilet.

The last fight I was in was a smaller one... Almost a year and a half ago. It was with one of my best friends from HS, both of us can fight. We were getting wasted at a shopping mall / marina / restaurants type deal that has an alcohol license on for their property. I had drank about 12 beers and 5 or 6 mixed drinks and it was 8pm or so when I walked to go get a pizza I ordered and a 6 pack of beer. I came back, put it all down and went to go take a piss. When I got back my 6 pack of beer was gone and there was 1 slice of pizza left.. and I see my friend chewing on a piece. I grabbed it from him and threw it then started walking away and he pushed me hard and i ate ****. Got up, and punched him in the head around his temple, hard enough that on the opposite side of his head his skin ripped(11 stitches). After that hit the fight was basically mine, I whaled on him for a good 2 minutes and he was too drunk/stunned for his punches to hit me. So after winning this fight in front of 100 beach going tourists I decide to talk **** to him saying I still wanted to fight for 15 minutes.... he regained composure in the parking lot, sucker punched me really good and busted my eyebrow open, and the fight was back on. Only this time it was asphalt. Being that I was barefoot and it was a pretty good fist fight, 75% of the skin, and much of the tissue on my right foot was ripped off... and it was about half as bad on the other foot. 1 week later when I soaked my feet it would take about 10 seconds for the pot of water to turn red. It ****ing sucked.... He had a black eye and that gash, I had a busted eyebrow and my feet... By the end of the 2nd fight I was punching him in the side of his face while he was trying to walk away so I guess I won that one too... but that one was closer.

Anyway, it's been a year and a half since and I feel ridiculously stupid when I say that I got in a fight over pizza and beer. But I was drunk as **** and it pissed me off, what can I say except pretty much all fighting is stupid.

When I was in fifth grade I thought I was hot stuff so I talked a lot of smack to this one third grader. He was bigger than me but I though I could take him, and one day we ran into each other in our townhouse complex and out "friends" made us fight. I got destroyed pretty much. I think that killed my self-esteem for like 4 years of my life.

Then last year (senior year of high school) I was at wrestling practice with this one kid and he was talking trash to me. Typical black kid who listens to too much rap music and thinks he is the ****. So he started pushing me around because I was team captain and I was telling him to stop taking breaks from drilling. While I'm trying to talk to him he pushes me in the shoulder like dumb kids do when they want to start a fight but are too scared to throw a punch. So I grabbed him by his neck with my hand and he hit me in the face. I then let go of his neck and threw him on the ground hard. He got up and I hit him in the face and then stood on his back until he apologized to everyone who was watching. My coach got ticked with both of us, but it was a good fight cause he was heavier than me and he never trash-talked me again.

I've only gotten in one physical "fight" in my life. I really doubt that it'd count as a fight, though. xD

I wasn't comparing the significance of our fights. I was 20 years old and had near 20 drinks... you were an 8th grader who didn't get in trouble for something he should have. I don't care if someone else instigated it, that's not only obsolete but a lame a$$ excuse, so your teacher was being unprofessional, which is a waste of my tax dollars....

I've been in like 20 actual fist fights or something.. at least. I told that one because it was the most recent and had a really unfortunate outcome. I was also saying it because it epitomizes how fighting is pretty stupid... I haven't been in a fight since, it's been a year and a half. And as long as no one ****s with my woman then I don't plan on fighting again either. When someone works you up to the point where you want to fight them you've let them win. I consider very few things worth fighting over at this time, and had a similar attitude a year and a half ago too... but I was drunk as hell, as I said what can I say.

I didn't say any of that....... I said the majority of my fights were above 8th grade nonsense. The whole point I was stressing is that you should have gotten punished.. I REPEAT: I did not make a comparison between my example and yours.. You can keep twisting my words all you want, it doesn't change what I said. And it has NOTHING to do with 'MY' standards! LOL? It's the government's standards... they are government employees and should exemplify excellence, no bias or favoritism whatsoever. So if you're done being wrong with literally everything you have said and twisting what I have to say we should just move on kid being that you have way too much to learn before I even want to even discuss something like this with you.

Lets see. After being bullied for my whole life I cracked during 5th grade and beat up this kid who spit in my face. I threw him to the floor cracked his glasses, and started kicking the **** out of him.... I basically went on a rampage till last year where I kinda cooled down a notch. Anyways lets see: Someone stole my keys, someone was talking smack about me, got angry, tried to fight him, and ended in failure when his "buddies" also threw me down to the floor and started kicking my stomach... which was bruised for the rest of the week... I can't think more in the moment but trust me Ive been in a handful... oh and this kid was pulling my hair and I got into an altercation... which sent me to the principles office(but I got off free when he thought I was the victim. Yeah I got good crocoadile tear abilities though, cried up a good sob story and he saw how nice I was hehehe).

If this was a "ever been bullied contest" Id say Id take the cake. Yeah.... Ive been victim quite a few times myself... which has always ended in my enemy either being sent to the principles office or him being suspended/expelled... yeah Im that beast XD

You didn't say that? Then were did my quotes come from?

And by the way, you got some attitude there guy. It's no wonder you get in fights frequently. You really should calm down before you pop a vein or something...or are you going to fight me?

Lol at being drunk and fighting over pizza "above 8th nonsense". See this is a COMPARISON, ******. You're too ****ing dumb to even realize how dumb you are.

By the way, calling me a "kid" and telling me I "have too much to learn" doesn't make you sound superior, it just reveals how insecure you are.

Oh and like, Karen.

On topic.

This one time I got in this fight on smashboards with this guy. Don't know why but he felt he needed to compare ***** size, possibly because he felt insecure about the size of his wang.
I was all like "Huh? nah man! why would I do that?"
Then he was all like "what? I didn't say anything."
Then I was all like "Yes you did."
Then he was all like "I don't need to compare ***** size, as I have done it 20 times in the past while I was drunk."

True story.

Dude, you beat up a kid for being gay. I don't even know what to say...

Hopefully the gay kid enjoyed getting punched. It's sort of like physical contact.

Yes I have back in my home country.Never here in USA :). Back in 3rd grade my teacher claimed me I was mental due to because I was such a soft kid. Which I have no clue why he thinks I am mental just because I was too much of a soft kid too withstand my problems back in those days.
Just punched my teacher in the jaw since I had enough of his talk, which of course you know what the consequences are for that. Well a little different back in my home country

Not much really of a fight though

Wow...I intended this thread to be about funny stories of elementary school fights. Again, I don't support violence T_T;; And people don't really ever want to fight me or anything. I think it's because everyone at my school knew I was studying martial arts (one of these times I'm going to misspell that and write 'marital' arts and look like a sketchball, I just know it). But yeah, I never really got involved in arguments a whole lot, so it was just that one time I ever really 'got in a fight' outside of sparring when I did take martial arts.

ive been in a number of fights that run the gamut of seriousness

this probably doesnt count, but in first grade, i tripped a bully on the playground and he fell forward and hit his head on the metal spherical monkey-bar cage and bled.

my first real fight was on the football field during recess in the fourth grade. i hit the guy really hard in the jaw but then he punched me in the stomach and for the first time in my life i couldn't catch my breath. i got the wind knocked out of me. experiencing a loss of breath for the first time ever really made sure i didn't get up from that or win the fight. a few months after this, yet completely unrelated in any cause+effect way, my family began the deep plunge into martial arts.

in sixth grade someone pulled a knife on me but i disarmed them and backed away. they got expelled from school.

in seventh grade someone was rough-housing me. he pushed me and i round-kicked him in the head. that was the fight.

in tenth grade a really stupid fight escalated in the gym locker room and one guy was being his regular unlikable self, and i stopped the fight by grabbing the guy and pinning him. i then made him chew on a jock strap. and then the coach walked in and i got in trouble.

in eleventh grade, i got in a fight with that same guy, and he stepped to me to diss face to face. we were at a white-board, and i kneed him in the nuts and pushed his head into the metal rack at the bottom of the white-board where the markers are held. and then when he got up afterwards and came towards me, a friend got in-between us and stopped it.

ive been in a large number of monitored sparring matches with strangers, in martial arts class and in meetings and in tournaments, but i have never actually fought a stranger. my brother, however, is a totally different story. if i am defensive in heated situations, he is belligerent and bellicose.

edit: oh man, in like first or second grade or something, my brother and i got in a fight, and he hit me in the head with a metal baseball bat. i passed out halfway to the door running inside crying to mom. and then another time, i threw a SNES controller at his face.

oh, and one time in seventh or eighth grade, i punched my best friend in the face in a complete and total accident of being surprised and reflexes.

not really fights, but funny stories. lol.

I've been in a few.

1. This kid broke into my locker and threw everything on the floor. This really pissed me off, so I grabbed my stuff and went off to class. When I got there, I lobbed my Math book across the room and hit him in the head. This kid was like the biggest stoner you've ever seen, so when he tried to hit me, he rammed his head into a desk. Funny thing was, I only got a day of detention for this while he was suspended.

2. This kid stole my ice cream at lunch so I pushed him down the stairs. He then proceeded to beat the crap out of me.

3. My friend John and I were in the Hill District of Pittsburgh when we got jumped by these hoods. We beat two of the four, so they ran away.

4. I was super drunk at a party one time, when I started hitting on this huge wrestler dude's girlfriend. He then proceeded to choke me until I passed out.

5. This dickface in college sprayed me in the eye with Lysol, so I tackled him. While he was on the ground I just punched his face in until he finally apologized.
