I miss Dr.Pepper a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot.

I have started eating more healthy, to offset some of my other habits, and I can't drink soda any more.

What makes it worse is that I know I would never get caught, and it is all around me, so it is willpower stopping me and not something physical =\

How does that make it worse???

You should be proud of your self-discipline, lots of people lack it.

Coke is a strange one for me. It only tastes good when I get it in the drive-through, otherwise it just doesn't taste all that good.

Diet coke and Coke zero are different though, I just enjoy those far more than the original. I know Coke Zero is supposed to taste the same, but there is a difference in there.

Dr. Pepper is good, but when I get it in cans I feel like it's not as good as restaurants

Please have them give me a call and I will provide a very convincing argument that states that soda will have virtually no negative effects on your health if consumed in moderation.

This is possibly the greatest triumph I have ever read on Smashboards.

For those of you who seem to love "Dr. Pepper" as much as you display, how the **** do you make the mistake of adding a period after the "Dr"?

"Dr Pepper"

It hasn't been "Dr. Pepper" since the 50s:
The period (fullstop) after "Dr" was discarded for stylistic and legibility reasons in the 1950s. Dr Pepper's logo was redesigned and the text in this new logo was slanted. The period made "Dr." look like "Di:". After some debate, the period was removed for good (it had been used off and on in previous logos), as it would also help remove any medical connotation with the product

There's no way I'm the only one who spent High School study halls looking up almost every imaginable soda on Wiki :p

What are all of your aspirational thoughts on the variations of Dr Pepper?

e.g. Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper, Berries and Cream, etc.

I buy Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper by the crate. Seriously. I live on it. Berries and Cream is alright, and Cherry Chocolate was not very good in my humble opinion. But I have been ridiculed a myriad of times for my constant posession of a bottle of Diet or Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper.
