This is not a ban Meta Knight thread. If you post anything relating to banning MK as a whole, I will ask a mod to delete your post or simply ignore it and ask others to.

I'm asking for the opinions of top players on this one: Is double Meta Knight broken?

I see it all the time and to me, it feels like it's pretty broken. I, however, lack the top level experience to be able to make a call on it.

In this thread, like I stated, I want the opinions of top-placing players in doubles mostly, but also in singles since they usually go hand in hand anyways. I'll ask boards randoms kindly to avoid posting in this thread, as well as players who rarely attend/do poorly in tournaments. No offense, I won't be participating either because I'm awful lol.

Please be honest, too: Say what you think should be said, even if you're winning with double MK.

So again, question is, should Double MK be banned and WHY?

Double MK dominates Ontario doubles. Every tourney has 4 MK in grand finals (except when Ally comes) and usually 2 mks end up getting 3rd. We even banned double mk one event but all the same people got the top spots.

Honestly though, it's probably just because the top 5 people on our PR all main MK. I think MK + Snake, MK + Wario, MK + G&W and ZZS + G&W are better teams. Double MK can be better on some stages though (i.e. Brinstar).

I agree, Double MK isn't the best team, it's good, but not the best. IMO, the best would probably be MK + Snake or MK + Wario(or Diddy)

lol Theres no need to ban double meta. Honestly, the only team that actually goes double meta, sticks to it, and places are shadow and diem lol.

However, mainly any other team that places will have at least 1 meta on the team lol. If anything that results thread above speaks for itself.

logically its easyier to say gaw is better on doubles, just theres barely any gnw players because he isnt amazing on singles. just think about it, gaw is godlike on doubles, idk were the gnw players at.

i just think a lot of people that have the potential to do good in this game have problems in their lives to attend tournaments,other's quit because of how cheap MK can be and i mean there are tons of excuses out there.Heck last time i went to a doubles tournament i placed third and i haven't gone since. I wish to go then is a hassle to find the right partner on top that money to get in the tournament there so many more reasons i'm not going into. But hopefully that list above will show new names on first place.

MK is just a character the person who uses him can be .
A-Pro.
B-A Person who likes to ride with the rest of them.
C-Spammer.

In the end they can all be defeated just it will take time and dedication.

And no i think MK double are not unfair i have seen them gotten beaten before. i just look at it and right off the bat i can see its a bad team just fine a better partner.
