They nerfed Axe's Battle Hunger, and now I'm sad ;(
But they buffed Culling Blade and that's cool

I also don't know how to feel about Tranquil Boots...

Battle hunger is still pretty strong. Axe got buffed overall.

Tranquils are amazing. The only thing I'm not certain on is heroes like Antimage appreciate the attack speed from Treads, but I feel like the extra lane ability you get with tranqs ends up working towards faster attack speed items anyway.
Definitely buying them more often than before.

Even in late game, I wrecked s*** up
Early game laned with sb and we didn't let that anti mage have any fun what so ever
I left reaver as it is like you said, was thinking of getting blood stone before wanting to try out AC, I can see why mek isnt as important, used it like maybe once or twice.
Iv learnt that iv just gotta quickly build aghs, with the new update.
not sure about vlads...
I feel like Meepo will still need treads even with how amazing tranquil are, I reckon he needs the attack speed.

Also to do with the new update: HOLY C*** AXE IS AMAZING FEAR HIM

Got two triple kills that game, **** yeah.

Just gotta improve on the whole micro thing still meepo is fun, thanks for the hints... even if ignored them :)

Peoples opinion on the new update?

nice man, you wrecked them good.

btw I don't know if I already mentioned it here but you can give tangoes to the other meepos now with the way the new patch works. Just target one of your other meepos with the tango and then it will go in their inventory and they can use it to heal.
My new starting items for meepo = 12 tangos and a ring of protection 8)
Maybe I should still get a gauntlet though idk

Need to rush aghs though, always had to for that improved stat share. I've had someone flame me for rushing aghs before, lmao excuse me?

New update is the best thing since that free KFC coupon I got like a year ago.

Oh right, my bro and I play DOTA 2 but we're pretty nooby and all.

My bro's a big carry player, I play more support.

Bro's fav chars are like, Meepo, Visage, Weaver, Ursa, Brewmaster, PA, etc.

My fav chars are like, Disruptor, Lina, PA (A bit), Slark, etc.

As for the update, I really enjoyed that it mostly buffed supports and i'm also happy that Doom counters Huskar because I hate Huskar (*is ability dependent*). :'(

And my username is OC | OC OberinDraco, in case any of you guys have any wishes whatsoever to add such a nooby player. @.@

Had a really nice headshot moment on a clinkz the other day. I was Puck and he was just below our tower, so we went to defend - when he saw us he went invis straight away and ran off. After about a few seconds I went to where he went invis, chucked an illusory orb down the lane, waning rift and got the kill. :-D

Good man I love the new update. Makes ganking and pushing the only viable ways to play my jungle heroes now. No more bad chens that can't micro and just afk farm for a mek.

the real problem with AM is not that he's good or bad or anything, its that he gets picked by ******* who dont know **** about carrying let alone playing AM and force a 40 minute boring game that you lose because the AM on your team was a moron. I hate AM.

i'm sniper
rubick cliffs me at the 0-minute rune
don't see any XP until ~3:30

but it's ok, because i always planned to play support sniper
http://dotabuff.com/matches/381682338

if you too want to play support sniper, just buy those items (boots -> MoM -> hyperstones -> basher) and skill as follows:
- lvl 1 headshot
- alternate between range and stats
- level ulti (optional!)
- no shrapnel, no more headshot, just stats

Timbersaw to me leads to the most unsatisfying games. Mainly because you're gaining on him, 1 more hit, he's gonna die, *timberchain*.

Edit: am I missing something or is diretide giving **** items? I haven't properly looked at the recipes but I'm not patient enough for that ****, give me rares or couriers or gtfo with your essences and pieces of paper.

lvl 89 rosh from cycle 1. Good gawsh and I feel happy when I get level 4. >.<

Oh right. Yeah timber is really freaking annoying. It also feels like anyone who picks him knows how to play him, in contrast to characters like FV and yeah, AM.

Oh but my most hated character to play against is probably Huskar.... like (insert swear here) my life... @.@

That's why the only carry I can play half-way decently is PA. :3

Or I go Puck and troll him when he ultis. :D

i hate timbersaw, I think he's a broken hero. Not only does he have an escape which makes him a good offlaner, he's also tanky AND his nukes hurt really bad + they are on a really low cooldown. He really doesn't have many weaknesses at all.

beating timbersaw is easy, you just have to spend less time crying and more time double dunking

Finally finished a-z challenge, it was satisfying up to a point.

Now to take a long break from dota (after diretide :D)
Congratulations!
You completed all 102 heroes in 219 games of Dota 2!

Most favoured item*: Blink Dagger, purchased 35 times (15% of the games played)

*only items in their most finished form. A Null Talisman can be built into a dagon, so if a lone Talisman is found in the inventory it will not count towards dagon or towards Null Talisman. I also did not include boots in the tally for obvious reasons.

THANKS FOR PLAYING!

Earth/Ember Spirit both seem a little under-powered in low level games for carries but I reckon we're yet to see their full potential down where I am in pubs. :p

Earth Spirit is like Sonic the Hedgehog
and Ember Spirit is like Avril Lavigne and Ghostface Killah doing a duet.

Pretty simple, pretty stronk.
