Does anyone really use Zelda

lol, I just don't have that peach touch myself either.. I can't coordinate with her very well. I mean I don't suck, because generally I can play any character rather well, but I feel odd playing with her lol.LOL, I tried doing that. But my Sheik loses to Bowser.That's a sign that I need to change back to Zelda.

He also destroyed a shiek player in Crews, but then again, that shiek player might've just plained sucked lol >.>; no offense if your the shiek reading this. you were up against a good bowser.
but I think you should expect to lose alot when your starting something new. I can't pick up falco on my first try, and give up because I lost to a bowser. Unless you been practicing with shiek a long long time >.>;

I've seen some of reflex's matches. He's mean. One of the best bowsers I've ever seen.
Edit: Uh... the edge cancelled wind is a simple zelda technique and that is by no means a new discovery. You need to watch more Zelda matches ethan. You know, I'm still waiting on any vids of you...

That's what I do. I think that's what every Zelda should do. Her biggest advantage is the fact that she's two characters in one.

sheik is pretty lame... shes incredibly fast but at the same time incredibly weak. Zelda is my best character and once you learn to use her shes deadly. zelda for the win

Sheik is pretty strong I think. Good grab game, speed, hard to edge guard (with zelda), good projectiles, good air moves that can be use out of throws and most of all her tilts. Oh the setups are so gross. X-X

In my opinion, Zelda gives me (a Ganondorf player) a harder time than most Sheiks.
Then again, I've been playing against Elana. She more or less taught me the basics of smash, and knows how my Ganondorf plays. X_X

Sheik can chain grab Ganon to death. It happened to my fellow Hawaiian at 0c3. It was disgusting to watch.

Plenty of people use Zelda. O_o Ask around the Zelda board, for that matter.
Hell, Max uses Zelda. And **** well, mind you. Example: Pound 2, was it?

I personally like using Zelda/Sheik and balance the combat. Sheik to weaken opponent and air juggle then switch to Zelda for the KO using fair or bair at like 70% (or 100% if against Bowser or Gannondorf.) I like to use it for the edgegame when its easiest to hit. (Where's your shield-grab now Bowser, huh?) But that's just me.

It was more like, I had played smash before, but she was so far ahead of me in skill, and kinda taught me the basics.
As far as competitive smash, another friend of ours kinda got us involved, but Elana was the one who introduced me to SWF. I don't remember how she found it.

Yes, that statement made me lol as well. I mean effective projectile(s) plus fast movement speed. DUH.
Zelda is a blast and was SSBM coolest character entry...In terms of "prescene" she has my favorite and she is also my main (for the the same reason most pepole use her) Sure she's bottom teir for a reason but I can see her slowly scaling the ladder...zelda players are only getting better and sure she may not go anywhere above mid tier and such but its certainly somthing to look forward too....And unless were talking about the babe list...then shes already made it

zelda pwns... as long as you are against a melee caracter like marth or someone sheik is only good for charaters that use ranged weapons.

I agree for the most part. Zelda is great against characters like Marth, Falcon, Peach, Ice Climbers, etc....
Shiek is better at comboing characters like Fox, Falco, Samus, etc..., but she sometimes does not hit hard enough to kill and that's where I think Zelda's strong point is. Being able to use the two characters interchangeably in a battle is what I think is crucial about them since one can rack up damage while the other one lands the finishing hit. Although they have two completely different fighting styles, that's where mind games can be implemented. If used properly Zelda and Shiek can become the ULTIMATE beast

2. Sheik hits much harder and faster than Zelda. Of course spacing the attacks to hit in the sweetspot is a factor, but ultimately, Sheiks moves hit harder and are much easier to kill with. Downsmash, fair, nair, uair etc.
3. Personally I wouldn't use both. I'm kind of a Zelda purist. Idk alot of people talk about using both in harmony and stuff making the ultimate battle plan, but is it really as easy as it sounds?
I think that Sheik can actually rack up damage AND deliver the kill. Without Zeldas help. >_> Sad but true.

Sheik does better overall in all matchups, except arguably vs. Ice Climbers.
Where are you getting the idea that Zelda does well on Marth? I hope you're not basing it off of Youtube videos of me. Just because I do well on Marths doesn't mean other people do. It's supposed to be a horrible match for Zelda. Sheik is much better on Marth than Zelda is. Also, why would Sheik be only good vs. ranged characters? That makes no sense.
My Zelda is better than my Sheik, if that counts for anything..
