The matches were good. I could see that you know how to handle Doc. very well and your opponent was able to handle his character very well as well. Very nice tech follows from the edge. Here are the things I saw.
You need to change your entire recovery game. Not to be blunt but you're not doing it right. Learn how to DI the BEST way (DI with SmashDI). Once you master that, then I'd recommend practicing the correct sequencing of recovery. First it's down+B PTP, then you jump, shoot a few pills (mainly will be about 2 - 3), then depending on the situation, you'll either try to land on the stage, sweet-spot, air-dodge, or actually attack your opponent. If you're going to sweet-spot that's when it's usually a good idea to cape below it. That is the best way to recover. Another way to recover would be to DI perfectly, PTP, then jump towards the stage while reverse-caping (to turn you around), so you could then bair towards the stage.
It didn't seem that spacing was a HUGE part of your game. Change that. You will become 3X as good easily because spacing in your game makes it easier to mindgame and punish your opponent ... and just overall beat them easier. Also, when you're being pressured in your shield (pressuring your shield means you'll be forced to do something out of it that's very predictable) don't roll behind them. Very high level skilled players will easily pick up on that and destroy you. The best thing to do is jump out of your shield with any character. However, with Doc., in the event that you find it appropriate, up+B cancel.
You had a good grab game, and your jabbing game was fantastic. I really liked your bairing approach as well. That works great against all characters so in general to anyone who reads this, learn how to approach with bairs and SHBAWD approach.
Very good Doc. otg. I hope the advice I was able to give from those matches helps.
