like sephiroth? In what way?Okay here's a quick question before I have to do other things:
What are some dark horse characters that are on your wishlist?(characters like Sephiroth who aren't really talked about but has a small chance anyway)
Aside from the obvious one if you’ve known me long enough, I’d also say KOS-MOS, Ahri and Octoling. Maybe Shantae tooOkay here's a quick question before I have to do other things:

Nene, Kino, Tyrea, Gael'gar and Fog King all don't have spirits yet. Granted, that's still not a lot of spirits, even if they add Future Connected Shulk.Wouldn't the Future Connected spirits essentially amount to spirits of characters already in the base game?
Sephiroth also has a move called dark horse, or pale horse. I cant rememberI literally explained what I mean, but if I have to....
"A dark horse is a previously less known person or thing that emerges to prominence in a situation, especially in a competition involving multiple rivals, or a contestant that on paper should be unlikely to succeed but yet still might."
Nintendo fans know Marth as a Nintendo icon, but what exactly makes him tick? Together, let’s journey back to the beginning…#FireEmblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light is Available Now: https://t.co/Z2Ku045en1 pic.twitter.com/prME8gVING

Yeah I think Sakurai addressed how bored the fan base is of FE characters in byleth’s presentation. I don’t think we’ll get another one for the remainder of DLCHow mad would the internet get if we got another fire emblem character. I know i would be. The only one i could see them choosing is rowan and lianna as one character, like byleth
Toad, Tails, Kamek, Plasm Wraith, Chibi-Robo, pretty much all of the pokemon characters on my wishlist, and most of the other ones are fairly talked about, though I doubt any of these have a chanceOkay here's a quick question before I have to do other things:

YesDid sakurai ever outright say that this is the last fighters pass? What were his words exactly?
There are only 5 more DLC fighters! After they have been released, the continuous Smash development from Smash for 3DS/Wii U will finally come to an end. The team is already underway developing the remaining characters, and will continue doing their best working from home. pic.twitter.com/Q9wkqEKeIo

Once FP2 wraps up, Sakurai's work on Smash will finally end after he's been going at it since Smash 4. It's nothing like "We have no plans" or "I'm not sure what's next," he straight-up said "After FP2 is done, it's all done."There are only 5 more DLC fighters! I'd advocate for a couple things: Either modify the XP gain so if you're ahead you gain less but if you're behind you gain more ( and operate on this principle - Rebel Gauge gain is lower when ahead and OWA will activate later when ahead, pretty much to slow any snowballing*) or tie the XP into a sort of "economy" where additional levels could give more "expensive" upgrades or whatever. Either way you convey the implications pretty well.Quote’s experience bar would be an interesting mechanic, and I wonder how they’d balance it if they decided to put it in. Most if not all of the power-up mechanics so far are all comeback mechanics, where you get power after taking damage or being behind on stocks. This would be the opposite of that, though. It’d be a positive feedback loop, where dealing damage makes it easier to deal more damage. I’d imagine once Quote gets going, it’d be really hard to stop him, but if you can knock the experience out of him, it’d be hard for him to get it back.
I love that Nintendo joined the "iconic" debate without giving a concrete definition of "iconic" to begin with.Buy our product before we take it away from you forever in a couple of months.

Dark Horse? It's kind of hard to say who holds that title, since everyone finds perceives certain characters, and perceives the community's view of certain characters kinda differently. I'll go ahead and say Chosen Undead (or Unkindled / Sekiro) since I think Dark Souls is gigantic and isn't really talked about as much as it could be around here.Okay here's a quick question before I have to do other things:

I personally never cared about the overrepresentation "issue." If it's a character I like, then I'll be happy. There's just not that many FE characters that'd make me happy apart from Tiki and Lyn who are already assist trophies. I think only Anna with some money gimmick would still interest me (though I'd also take Tom Nook, Recettear girl, or the ****ing RE merchant for this)How mad would the internet get if we got another fire emblem character. I know i would be. The only one i could see them choosing is rowan and lianna as one character, like byleth
Yeah, while I like the idea XP gain mechanic on paper, there's a reason why Smash has tons of comeback mechanics and not very many win more mechanics - and that reason is that the latter tend to be unfun on both sides (it sucks to be kept down when you need to build up a bar, it sucks to if ur getting wrecked and they just get stronger for it) so they'd have to be real careful with this sort of mechanic.I'd advocate for a couple things: Either modify the XP gain so if you're ahead you gain less but if you're behind you gain more ( and operate on this principle - Rebel Gauge gain is lower when ahead and OWA will activate later when ahead, pretty much to slow any snowballing*) or tie the XP into a sort of "economy" where additional levels could give more "expensive" upgrades or whatever. * I'd argue operate on this principle too. On one hand, getting a stock lead with say 2-3 (or more) Wonderwings still left in the tank is a great thing for them. But dieing when there are still 2-3 Wonderwings left can be a major setback for the two since the unused Wonderwings effectively go down with the ship.

It's like they learned from Smashboards or something.
It was Pale HorseSephiroth also has a move called dark horse, or pale horse. I cant remember
Yes, these are translated. Pushdustin and Sephazon (The latter being the guy who translated this particular part) are the guys we rely on for interview translations. Are these translated tweets?
how is Hero the most broken character? How I would fix the most broken character in the game (Hero)
-Remove the critical hit mechanic
-Remove Hocus Pocus
-Reduce launch power on Kafrizz
-Make the Zap spells reflectable
-very slightly reduce magic bursts range
better idea, make every other character just as brokenHow I would fix the most broken character in the game (Hero)

She's definitely a sleeper pick. Her biggest flaw is really how muddled her origins are relative to other Smash characters - She's technically from a game, but some people debate if a full visual novel counts and that game contains actual pornographic content which would be a first for Smash; she's notable for the success of her phone game, but phone games really haven't been represented in Smash thus far, and Euden is the safer bet if Smash is going to dip its toes into phone game characters; and a lot of Westerners know her first and foremost from her anime series.Everyone is still sleeping on Saber
Fate is on the list of the Highest grossing Franchises of all time up there with gosh dang Donkey Kong and My Little Pony, and Fate/Grand Order is consistently in the top 10 highest grossing mobile games of all time.
I'll stan Kiryu til I die, but I think most people agree that Arle is more likely than Kiryu.Arle is discussed relatively often these days, but just as often completely forgotten in favor of additional Sonic characters or even Kiryu. Expand to the public conscience and she's in a comparable position to Terry. Most people are not counting on a cutesy puzzle game character.
That's impossible, the Wahoominati would never acknowledge the Paper Mario franchise pre-Sticker Star.Nintendo..... actually acknowledging one of the classic Paper Mario games?

In the speculation community, sure. Expanding outside toward general Smash players, and hell a lot of people within the speculation community are still guilty of this too, “cute” characters are always seen as lesser than “cool” characters as a rule of thumb.I'll stan Kiryu til I die, but I think most people agree that Arle is more likely than Kiryu.
