*coolshades.gif*Well none of you have Pokeballs, so I feel slightly better about not having dice :3
A] Thank you captain obvious.Rock Band guitar =/= real guitar AT ALL. Idk about the new Rock Band (my friend told me it was like a real guitar?), but from the previous installments, it's NOT the same in any way.
I wish I was smart enough to hope to pass AP :/. Oh well lol.
Yeah it's good, that smogon link is broken though... which forum is it in? I'll look for it later.Oh fun! How are you liking it so far? I'm enjoying it so much.
Here is a handy Japanese-->English Pokemon Dictionary:
http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=78929
Of course it doesn't have the dialouge and what not, but for special abilities/types it has them there
Yay I'm so glad more people are playing it :DDDDDD We should talk about it sometime.
That's cool! I'm a swimmer. Like, ocean/open water swimming. It's fun, even if it takes up most of my time.So... general question:
What are some hobbies (outside of Dgames, lol) that you guys do? I'm a sneaker head, meaning I collect and sell rare shoes, mostly Nike dunks and Jordans.
*brofists*I was a defensive back/WR in high school.
I liked defensive back so much. So fun just hitting people.
I did track for a lil bit. Though I stopped doing it junior year of highschool when I got bigger and wasn't as fast as the best anymore. It was pretty funny though cuz I was the best high jumper at my school and I didn't even have the proper form. Instead of running and doing the gazzelle like spinning backwads leap over the bar. I would just stand in front of the bar, and jump straight up/back and arch my back. Track coach always wanted me to do track again and practice but I was far too lazy
and breakdancing was much more worth my time
No.Stop talking about sprotasdklfjasdlgkjasdklgasvkmskl
don't you play brawl? Also, didn't we get you into soccer? The gayest most defensive game ever?
omg *brofist**brofists*
I was a sprinter/huddler/long and triple jumper, I was a defensive back (for the exact same reason) and I love breakdancing.
Watching and learning, trying to find or make a crew so I can actually get good, but I'm mostly practicing on my own right now, such a noob.omg *brofist*
i have a new bestfriend
when you say you love breakdancing... do you mean you actually do it or just love watching it.
If you actually do it then:
How long have you bboyed for? Have you ever battled anyone? You got a crew?
Done a couple of hip-hop performances, done some tricking, done waltz, tango, I also know paso doble, never performed it though. As far as cultural dances, Lion Dancing, lumagen, and tinikling.I dance in general alot too, apart from bboying I've done hiphop/salsa/ballet/locking for only a lil while(though I pop and lock in the shower all the time XD)/i've danced in musicals... dunno what to call that. I've done a crapload of performance of all kinds.
TBH, never really found a use for backflips, parcour isn't about being flashy, it's about efficiency, don't get me wrong, I can do flashy stuff when necessary, but the reason I chose parcour over freerunning is because I was more interested in learning how to escape as quickly and as efficiently as possible when I needed to (similar to the reason why I'm obsessed with martial arts and know a lot about survival in adverse conditions).I always wanted to do parkour but i dunno if I'm confident enough for it. I have to relearn backflips like once every month. What ends up happening is I don't do em for a while so I get too scared to try, so I'd spend an afternoon on a mat building my confidence and then would have em again like that.
Backflips are deceptively easy actually, I think almost anyone can learn them.
Random but cool, president of the US for me at 8.When I was like 8 I wanted to be a professional scooter-er(?, scooterist?).
This.Stop talking about sprotasdklfjasdlgkjasdklgasvkmskl
Yea a crew is so ridiculously important. They just push and motivate you to get better. I feel your pain; When I went to college I lost my old crew and noone breaks around here so I pretty much just stopped bboying =/. I have no motivation without a crew. I miss it a ton tho, my crew was the ****. Literally all asian people except me.*brofists macman*

Battled once, against another noob, pretty much only used toprock for obvious reasons.
Been doing it for a little less then a year, but I live in suberbia, since nobody else does it, getting a crew and practicing is tough, so if I can't get a crew together around here, gonna get hardcore into it when I move to the city.
Waltz and tango? Pretty sick, I wanna learn more ballroom dances. So many of these I've never heard before. About to youtube them XDDone a couple of hip-hop performances, done some tricking, done waltz, tango, I also know paso doble, never performed it though. As far as cultural dances, Lion Dancing, lumagen, and tinikling.
No ballet or musicals for me though lol.
Word. When I brought up backflips it was more in reference to the dancing as opposed to parkour. Not gonna lie tho, what appeals to me in parkour is all those sick tricks off of stuff XD.TBH, never really found a use for backflips, parcour isn't about being flashy, it's about efficiency, don't get me wrong, I can do flashy stuff when necessary, but the reason I chose parcour over freerunning is because I was more interested in learning how to escape as quickly and as efficiently as possible when I needed to (similar to the reason why I'm obsessed with martial arts and know a lot about survival in adverse conditions).
What are potlucks?I was in one play in my entire life - In 8th Grade, I was Schroeder in "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown".
Ohhh, those were the days. Sure was fun, though. I slept over at a friend's house during the night that was between the 1st and 2nd showing, so my voice was DONE at the 2nd showing bahaha.
Theater people put on good potlucks too. Like, remarkably good.
homieAlso Yedi why in the world haven't we hydra'd yet?
haha, a bunch of my friends tried to teach ourselves "parkour." it involved us just going to our college's gym and doing wall backflips. That's as far as we got, and as you say, backflips aren't parkour.Word. When I brought up backflips it was more in reference to the dancing as opposed to parkour. Not gonna lie tho, what appeals to me in parkour is all those sick tricks off of stuff XD.
Dude....you're missing out.What are potlucks?
And to think I thought you were cool. Not classy man. Dieinafireplox. It was at this point that I realized I had been defeated, and with a nod of respect for my esteemed opponent, I retreated.
The French would be proud.
Pretty much contribute successfully to the Poke Center Forums/learn and compete in tournaments and the metagame, and take part in the discussions around the PC.@ Metakirby: What the hell do you even have to do to get "Pokemon Master" + the pokeball thingy anyway"
Well, I already had dance expirience, so my toprock was legit cause I incorporated a lot of stuff from other dance, my downrocking though...Yea a crew is so ridiculously important. Lol toprock only, i remember having my first battle. We all did the same toprock and alot 6step and baby freezes lol. Good times. I've battled sooooo much since then and have done alot of performances with the crew, its pretty fun. Some are actually on yutube lol
The later ones are cultural dances, the earlier ones are ballroom, Tango's probably my favorite, especially when dancing with a special somone if you know what I mean.Waltz and tango? Pretty sick, I wanna learn more ballroom dances. So many of these I've never heard before. About to youtube them XD
I've only taken a beginner ballet class just cuz I wanted to a wellrounded dancer. And yea i'm so gay for musicals. Theyre the ****.
What you really wanna do is free-running then, it's awesome and fun, but I took it up as something practical so not my thing. It's more popular too so you should be able to find people to practice with.Word. When I brought up backflips it was more in reference to the dancing as opposed to parkour. Not gonna lie tho, what appeals to me in parkour is all those sick tricks off of stuff XD.
Kali's my recommendation, immediately practical, insanely good with knife-fighting (whether you're unarmed against one, you're armed and your opponent isn't, or you both have knives) and since it's pretty much the only practical melee weapon to consider these days. Also, the background in spacing is amazing for application to any style.I always thought of taking up some sort of martial art. Never really had a way to though.
Can't believe you never did a potluck, they're amazing, you're missing out. What are potlucks?
Lol, surprisingly, I have a good voice, though I've only done performances, never really done musicals. I've acted though, minor performances though, mostly as part of year end shows for groups I was already part of.But yea I was in a few musicals, its mad fun. Mostly cuz the cast end up being mad chill and become really close knit and stuff its cool. Lol good thing I never was worried about losing my voice, i never had any major roles cuz im a ****ty singer so they just always made me dance and ****
Picture the gayness of Brawl, but for 80 minutes.don't you play brawl?
lol
