What is the difference between amateur and pro bracket? Cuz like... Ally and Holy were in the amateur bracket at the last tourney they went to, lol

Amatuer brackets are normally for circuit events. People with a high number of points are seeded into the pro bracket, while the people who haven't attended any of the circuit events or have a low number of points fight for the remaining spots in the pro bracket.

Ally was in that amatuer bracket bc he hadn't attended the previous events. Then he proceeded to **** face.

Good luck at COT4!!! Who all from texas is goin again? I know Infinity and Bear went, and I think Dojo and Santi said they were goin. If I know who went, I can try to keep up on their matches during the live stream.

Amateur Bracket is for anyone not from EC, that's why Ally and Holy had to go through the amateur Bracket since they were from Canada. Pro Bracket will have the best players already seeded in there.

They do 1-2 rounds of pools, then the amateur bracket, then like the top 8-16 from the amateur bracket go on to the Pro Bracket, which is the final bracket basically.

COT4 probably will have two rounds of pools, depends on if they get 230+ people or so.

Edit: Nvm KY explained it. That's why OOS people aren't seeded into the pro bracket cause they don't have circuit points for EC.

I know they started late (around 3) and I know they were watching the feeds of CoT4.

I saw Dojo kick the **** outta Diem... 3-0 mm with sooo many almost 3 stocks. Last one was 2 stock low percent... Like 11 or something. Way to go Dojo.

I tried really hard this time to get first, and was successful. Had to play Melee1 twice =) We recorded the last 3/5 set. The final match was very intense. Just wait til Khaoz uploads the vids.

Also crews ended with a 3v1 me, bwett, and ice vs. melee1 on green greens (1 stock left). I told bwett and ice to run to the other side of the map and let me handle it. I do a little damage to his MK on the island. Then follow him off stage. Come back with UpB -> quick fast falled nair -> judgment KO at 25ish %. Best crews finish ever, everybody was watching.

You don't get recognition for third place, even if your a local. Just kidding, but not really. Regardless, good job on stealing third PX. Wish I could have attended guys, especially for the debut of the Smashboard as I believe Kirbykid calls it, but I had previous engagements. Zac beat me in Winner's Finals fifth round, has beaten Melee1 in Winner's Semis in three, then beat him again in fifth round of Grand Finals (first set, though).
