Biologist to the rescue. Albinism is genetic Serin. I don't think disease is PC. It's just a lack of pigment to at least some degree, and it's caused by genes.

Only a little more pale than your average Caucasian male/female. I've never really tried to get a suntan but i doubt it could happen anyway + it defeats the purpose of being me.
