Gonna be honest I think that's a little unfair. Blade is still half-human, not undead, so I'm honestly a bit surprised he even qualifies, and since he does count then it should be free game for Carnage as well; This is also in addition to the symbiote technically being a separate entity from the host.
Maybe it's my lack of familiarity with the characters talking (my main source of Blade knowledge is the Wesley Snipes movie, and I've only seen the original; with Carnage, I've read a bit of Maximum Carnage, and played a bit of the video game, but that's about it in terms of stories that feature him), but I figured Carnage was like Venom where he's a man who gets his power from the symbiote, and he's still human underneath it, while Blade is at least part vampire. (he's not a full vampire since he can walk around in daylight, but he's not entirely human either)

I am by no means up to date on either character - I run into the problem where I want to read a given series from the beginning, which means that it takes me a really long time to get caught up on most comic characters. For all I know, the Carnage symbiote has absorbed Cletus Kasady's consciousness and now Cletus/Carnage is purely the symbiote since some time between the 90's and now (I think the Sentry ripped Carnage in half at one point?), but I have no idea if that's ever been the case. (and if it has, it wasn't brought up in the nomination)

Galactus reward:

Herald of Galactus (Superman costume)

Do we have a lot of Superman costumes? Probably, but looking up the heralds that Galactus has had over the years, he and Deadpool are the only ones on the roster, and Deadpool didn't get a snazzy new outfit to go along with the herald title.

I'll see what I can come up with for Amazo.

I'll keep the Amazo reward open to whoever wants to submit one, and with no other nominations, Superman will get the Herald of Galactus costume when the player beats Galactus.

Lobo's moveset job is still open, and here are the results for the Beyond Human round:

-Fin Fang Foom: 2
-Adam Warlock: 4
-Howard the Duck: 5
-Man-Thing: 6
-Vision: 8
-Blade: 17

Blade slices and dices the roster! Congratulations, KneeOfJustice99 KneeOfJustice99 !

Job 237: nominate a moveset for Blade

Like with other moveset jobs for DLC characters, this will be open for two or three days; feel free to base it on whatever you want.

Job 238: nominate costumes for Blade

As usual, we'll go with one default costume and up to seven alternate costumes.

EDIT: Blade costumes:

1. Default

2. Original

3. 90's

4. Bald

5. Vampire Hunter

6. Ronin
(if his moveset requires it, the bottom of the mask can be rolled up to make his mouth visible)

7.Daywalker
(I feel obligated to have at least one Wesley Snipes-based costume in here)

8. Contest of Champions

EDIT 2: Collectible Cards - trying to wrap up any absences that stick out.

Elongated Man
  • Fascinated by contortionists, Ralph Dibny interviewed many of them and discovered that they all drank a soda called "Gingold". Ralph discovered how it was made and distilled it down to a concentrated form, which gave him the powers to stretch his limbs. Combining this with his detective skills, Ralph became the superhero the Elongated Man, and a valued member of the Justice League.
Mister Mind
  • One day, all of Shazam's enemies were brought together to form the Monster Society Of Evil in an attempt to conquer Earth, under the direction of a mysterious Mister Mind. Eventually, it was discovered that their leader was a Venusian worm, roughly the size of a regular worm. With his psychic powers, Mister Mind has proven to be a massive threat despite being the size of an insect, trying to blow up Billy's hometown with nuclear weapons and remake all of time and space in his image.
The Spectre
  • The divine Spirit of Vengeance, the Spectre is the most powerful agent of the Presence, sent to punish sinners. To offer it guidance and a more moral perspective, the Spectre has been bound to many human hosts over the years, including Jim Corrigan, Hal Jordan, and Crispus Allen.
Katana
  • Armed with the Soultaker Sword that she is named for, Tatsu Yamashiro (a.k.a. Katana) took up the sword after her husband and children were killed by gangsters. She has volunteered for the Suicide Squad to keep an eye on them, though her sword demands that she should use it to take all of their souls. Still, for the people that she's loyal to, she's always got their back.
Blue Beetle (Ted Kord)
  • Ted Kord was one of the recipients of a mystical scarab amulet, but unlike the other users who gained powers from it, Ted couldn't get the scarab to work. Undaunted, he chose to fight crime like the other scarab holders regardless, making up for his lack of powers with various gadgets.
Metamorpho
  • After being exposed to the Orb of Ra, archaeologist Rex Mason gained the ability to transform his body into any element, at the cost of his human appearance. His love life has had many ups and downs - he's in love with the daughter of his boss, and went on expeditions so he could gain a fortune of his own and marry her, and his boss wound up becoming his arch-enemy.
Doctor Light (Arthur Light)
  • A scientist who discovered how to harness the power of light, Arthur Light immediately turned to a life of crime, believing that the discovery that he just made would be enough to make him a threat to the Justice League. However, his reputation plummeted over the years to the point where the Teen Titans and even unpowered children have defeated him.
Doctor Light (Kimiyo Hoshi)
  • Kimiyo Hoshi was a scientist and medical doctor before being granted powers by the Monitor, becoming the new Doctor Light. Unlike the previous user of the name, Kimiyo was firmly on the side of heroes, serving as a member of the Justice League on several occasions.
Iron Fist (Danny Rand)
  • Danny Rand was the heir apparent to the Rand Corporation before a plane crash left his parents dead and young Danny stranded in the mountains. He discovered the ancient city of K'un L'un, and after years of training and a ritual where he punched out the heart of a dragon, he became the Immortal Iron Fist, K'un L'un's protector.
Misty Knight
  • Misty Knight was an officer in the NYPD before losing an arm to a bombing. After being given a bionic replacement by Tony Stark, she set up a detective agency alongside Colleen Wing. Somehow, her hairdo never goes out of style.
Colleen Wing
  • A skilled ninja and swordfighter, Colleen Wing formed the Daughters of the Dragon detective agency with Misty Knight. Never too far from Misty, the two have teamed up with the Heroes for Hire on many occasions.
Shang-Chi
  • A master of kung fu and the son of a criminal mastermind, Shang-Chi rejected his father's teachings after seeing how corrupt he was and fought against him. He has served as a trainer for heroes like Spider-Man and Domino, helping them to be skilled fighters during periods of time where they lost their powers.
Jessica Jones
  • After being in a car crash with a truck that was carrying radioactive material, Jessica Jones discovered she had superpowers. She fought crime under the identity of Jewel, but her crimefighting days were cut short in a horrible way by the Purple Man. Now, she's simply Jessica Jones, private investigator.
Purple Man
  • Zebediah Killgrave was exposed to various chemicals, giving him the power to control the minds of those around him while turning his skin purple. Calling himself "the Purple Man" despite his birth name being far more intimidating, Killgrave is a sociopathic hedonist who subjects everyone around him to his cruel whims.
Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes)
  • Robbie Reyes is a talented mechanic from Los Angeles, but when a plan to get his brother out of L.A. goes horribly wrong, Robbie is resurrected as the all new Ghost Rider. Robbie has a preference for classic cars, and works hard in order to protect his younger brother.
Wonder Man
  • Simon Williams blamed Tony Stark for his own business failings, which made him easy prey for Baron Zemo and the Masters of Evil. Granting him strength and durability similar to Thor, Zemo blackmailed Simon, as the treatment would supposedly kill him if he didn't get periodic doses of a serum that only Zemo could provide. Wonder Man turned against the Masters of Evil and supposedly died, only for it to later be revealed that he was rendered comatose and his body converted to ionic energy. Upon his recovery, he joined the Avengers.

A quieter day yesterday; my Blade costumes win by default. I'll see what I can come up with movesets for Lobo and Blade, if I can find the time to type them out.

Job 239: nominate arcade mode rivals for Lobo and Blade

Pick a character from the opposite company to serve as their rival in arcade mode.

Job 240: nominate a DC stage

This will be the last DC stage that we add, and it doesn't necessarily have to be tied into the characters that we've added this season - feel free to pick any DC location that you feel like we're missing.

We currently have:
  • The Fortress of Solitude (Superman)
  • The Batcave (Batman)
  • Themyscira (Wonder Woman)
  • Atlantis (Aquaman)
  • The Hall of Justice (Justice League)
  • The Rock of Eternity (Shazam)
  • Gorilla City (The Flash)
  • Oa (Green Lantern)
  • Arkham Asylum (Batman)
  • Danny the Street (Doom Patrol)
  • Tower of Fate (Doctor Fate)
  • Titans Tower (Teen Titans)
  • Apokolips (New Gods)
  • Kahndaq (Shazam)
  • Hall of Doom (Justice League)

Warworld
Beating Mongul unlocks Warworld itself as a reward. Takes place inside the arena, sort of like Shao Khan's arena from the Mortal Kombat games. Mongul sits and watches over the arena. Various aliens have gathered to watch the battle, including varoius alien races from the DC universe, and even cameos like Lobo (unless he gets in as a playable character later) and Mongul's own daughter Mongal.
Resubmitting my Warworld stage.

I must say that I was thinking on a Lobo moveset but my keyboard is dead and is very difficult to write in my phone.

Anyway, Lobo rival could be Deadpool due their anti-hero antiques and for Blade my election is Constantine as fellow paranormal hunter.

LOBO MOVESET
Rated T for Use of Tobacco
General Playstyle
Lobo is a close quarters bruiser with numerous grappling abilities both in his specials and basics, at the cost of lower damage output when it comes to distanced attacks

Unique Ability - SpazFrag666
Lobo's signature spacehog, the SpazFrag666, makes heavy use in Lobo's own moveset!
Pressing the unique action has Lobo hop onto the spacehog, which can be followed up with one of 3 attacks, dependent on the attack button used
L - Lobo does a donut, hitting the opponent and applying knockback, which Lobo can follow up on with an air juggle
M - Lobo fires a missile from the bike across the stage
H - Lobo simply drives straight forward and uses the bike as a battering ram
Additionally, if Lobo is doing a combo attack, using the unique action button allows Lobo to follow-up with spacehog as he quickly swerves it around, hitting the opponent with the butt end

The SpazFrag666 is on a cooldown, forcing the player to think on which attack they want to use the spacehog for at the current moment

Special Move NameInputDescription
Pump ShotQCF + XLobo pumps his iconic shotgun and lets it rip right in the opponent's face, plain and simple. Being a shotgun, it is most effective when the opponent is as close to Lobo as possible
Heavy SmokerDown, Down + XLobo lights up a cigar and takes a quick huff, before flicking it onto the ground as a flammable projectile with splash damage.
Caught on a Hook (Anti-Air)QCB + XLobo throws his hook diagonally in the air; If the opponent is caught in the hook, he throws them down and drags them along the ground towards him, closing the distance between them in favor of Lobo
Not My DawgDP + XLobo ducks down as his pet dog, Dawg, leaps over him and bites down on any opponent in range. Dawg proceeds to momentarily maul the opponent before running off, as Lobo simply rubs his hand on the back of his head and proclaims "That wasn't my dog."
Suicide Bomber (Grab)HCB + XLobo unpins a grenade whilst it's still attached to his belt, grabs the opponent, and lets the grenade explode, catching them both in the explosion. However, due to Lobo's regenerative abilities, he instantly heals any damage he took from the grenade and gains a 1% health boost
Cuts' n BruisesBack, Forward + XLobo swings his chained hook around him as he lunges forward, with the hook catching any opponent it touches and getting them caught in a multi-hit attack that afflicts bleed

Super Move NameInputDescription
Going Nuclear2QCB + XLobo loads up his pump shotgun with a round of nuclear shells, temporarily giving him a highly explosive set of bullets to dish out damage
Versed in DestructionHCF + XLobo throws out a nasty virulent agent of his own concoction- a self-made plague that infects the opponents and causes them to slowly chip damage overtime
The Main Man!Press All ButtonsLobo throws his hook straightforward at the opponent, letting the blunt side do all the damage.

If it connects, the cinematic starts, in which the opponent is suddenly knocked out could. Lobo quickly attaches a time hopper to his spacehog, leaps on and rides off at a fast speed, sending him through time...
...and dropping him off to just a moment ago when the opponent was hit in the face with his hook; as they are falling backwards, the time traveling Lobo seeps his hook into their spine and throws them in the air; Both Lobos begin circling the opponent, unloading numerous rounds from their pump shotguns as the opponent is falling, before the time traveling Lobo goes full steam ahead, overheats his own engine and flies right into the opponent, causing a massive explosion.

Past Lobo simply lights up a smoke as body parts from the time traveling Lobo rain down, followed by the opponent, covered in ash, as Lobo simply retorts "Oh yeah, almost forgot about ya'," and resumes a fighting stance
---
Apologies for the delay on this. I promised to get this done earlier but ended up leaving it off; I did start yesterday but went out, and by the time I got back it was 4:30 in the morning. All excuses, I suppose, but I was very enticed by Lobo's potential as a fighter and wanted to put it to use. This is what I came up with; I'm hoping ya'll find it suitable for Lobo's style of character as I wanted to match it best in a relatively easy to grasp moveset.

I'll knock out two birds in one stone here, too, especially since it's directly related to the new job.

Job 240: Rivals
Lobo's rival should be Wolverine; Not only did Lobo's creator cite Wolverine as a source of inspiration for the character, but they also fought in the official DC vs Marvel crossover (one of them, anyway).
Gonna second the idea of Blade vs. Constantine, as both are supernatural monster hunters of the sorts, albeit with some differences.

Stage nomination: Flash Museum

I had a few ideas in mind (it came down to this or Bizarro World), but while we have a stage from the Flash, I'd like to get a location associated with the Flash himself, and what better place than his own museum?

Much to Quicksilver's annoyance, the Flash has a museum dedicated to the exploits of the Flash family, complete with memorabilia from various cases and supervillain battles. The stage would take place inside the museum, which would be filled to the brim with Easter eggs and references, though presumably, whatever Flash isn't being played as escorted all of the visitors out to avoid having them get caught up in the superhuman battles.

Job 240: DC Stage
S.T.A.R. LABS
(Metropolis)
Honestly I'm a bit surprised this has never been nominated (as far as I'm aware). S.T.A.R. Labs is an iconic, important and very recurring piece of the DC universe, which also has huge ties to Superman, Flash, Cyborg and the Justice League overall, all of whom are represented on the roster already.
There also isn't a laboratory type-stage at all, which is insane because a lot of superheroes have origins relating to scientific accidents. This is a very easy catch-all location that can represent numerous different archetypes to the superhero genre that are very prevalent, as well as representing multiple characters at once instead of just one, and the DC universe as a whole. A lot of the casual audience is likely to recognize S.T.A.R. Labs regardless so this should be perfect.

I should note, S.T.A.R. Labs is an enterprise with numerous locations in the DC Universe. The one I'm nominating specifically is the Metropolis branch, which was the first one introduced and is easily the most influential in the comics; This also doubles as representation for the city, which doesn't have any associated stage with it, weirdly enough.

Of course, I think the perfect cherry on top would be the possible cameos that could be made, honing in on the multiple ties it has to multiple heres. I have selected a few possible ones to seal the deal, here.
As a perk of being set in Metropolis, I figure this would be an easy way to get some imagery from the two most iconic Metropolis landmarks here, neither of which seem likely to be getting their own stage. This would be seen in the background from the afar, likely through a window as the players are fighting throughout the stage.
Lexcorp
The Daily Planet
For the cameos I went solely for characters with ties to the company, and generally more science-savvy characters.
I also did try to vary it as best I could, with both superheroes and non-superheroes, big names, less popular pulls and some villainous characters that represent the darker side of S.T.A.R.
Silas Stone

The father of Victor Stone, A.K.A. Cyborg. This one is just obvious
T.O. Morrow

The creator of Red Tornado and co-creator of Amazo. In-canon, I mean. They're robots, y'know.
The Atom (Ryan Choi)

Ryan is a frequent staff member of S.T.A.R., and his tenure as the Atom makes him ripe for a cameo here.
Professor Hamilton

A recurring Superman villain that previously held ties to S.T.A.R. Labs.
Steel

A scientist turned superhero in the wake of Superman's death, Steel would be perfect for a cameo here. The stage is in Metropolis, after all!
Vibe

I figured it was important to reference some of the CW Flash characters given how important S.T.A.R. is this, so here's Vibe!
The Cosmic Treadmill

So, technically not a character, but the Cosmic treadmill is hugely iconic and now also has a heavy relation to S.T.A.R. due to the CW show, so this feels justified.
Martin Stein

The second half of Firestorm and a huge name in science within the DC Universe. I felt I had too many metahumans, but a Firestorm cameo was needed.
Motherbox

Given that they're responsible for Cyborg's origin, and are usually placed within S.T.A.R. Labs during numerous storylines I figure this would work.
Killer Frost

A popular DC villain that has since has strong ties to S.T.A.R. Labs due to Firestorm and the Flash.
She could be seen locked up in a research containment block
Atomic Skull

A former S.T.A.R. Labs scientist who underwent an accident and became a deadly Superman villain. This interpretation is a little different then the trading card I did for him but equally important as it's the modern use of the character
He could make an appearance locked up in a research containment block
Sarah Charles

A recurring staff member of S.T.A.R. in several continuities; She is an intern and is usually part of Cyborg's supporting cast.

Edit: Updated the cameo list

Sorry for the slight delay; we'll be using PinkFlare PinkFlare 's moveset for Lobo, and here are the polls for the rivals:

For DC, here are the stages that were nominated:

-Warworld
-Flash Museum
-Smallville
-S.T.A.R. Labs

Vote for your top two, and you can't put your own in first.

1. STAR Labs
2. Smallville

---

Job 241: nominate a costume pack for DLC

As usual, we'll go with two costumes per side, for a total of four. (though if you want to include a costume for a guest character, you can make substitutions - for the Turtles, a costume for each of them would count as one rather than counting as four) I'll see what I can come up with and either post it or edit it in.

EDIT: I've got something:

It's All A Game (based on their appearances in video games)

1. Gotham Knights (Ra's al Ghul)

1. Stark-Tech Armour (Ms. Marvel)

2. Arkham Asylum (Catwoman)

2. Purr-fect Partner (Ultimate Spider-Man)
Spider-Man the cat is purely cosmetic, though he peeks his head out, swipes ineffectually, etc. for some animations

---

Also, as a heads up, I'll likely be posting tomorrow's jobs later than normal; my work ends at 1 pm (about an hour after I normally post), and I'm hoping to see Black Panther: Wakanda Forever tomorrow after work, so the new jobs might not get posted until 5 pm (roughly 5 hours after I normally post). I figure I should make you all aware since I don't know how much time I'll have between the end of my shift and the movie; it could either be an hour later or 5 hours later.

Time to cash in my votes.

1. Warworld
2. S.T.A.R. Labs

Flash Museum is cool and all but I don't find it that interesting to be the last stage. Warworld is basically the DC Death Star, which is awesome. Like, imagine a stage even called Warworld? Immediate standout

But yeah. Self-vote, I know, but S.T.A.R. is a genuinely very good choice for a stage. Ripe for cameos and slots into the iconic DC locales we already have perfectly, hell I'd say it completes the line-up. And it just generally scracthes a lot of itches in one when it comes to DC representation in the stages; It doubles as a Metropolis stage and we get cameos from basically the entire comic library instead of just one franchise or team.

This is completely unrelated but Wakanda Forever was fantastic. Better than No Way Home by a landslide

Renominating Alter Egos
Is there an aspect more iconic to the entire genre of superheroes than the concept of an alter ego? A secret identity, a second life, and the spirit of two people in one soul; The story of a man or woman that lives behind the hero is what makes the character to begin with, and has become a permanently fixed staple of the genre... and a category very ripe for untouched costume concepts in this project!
1. Clark Kent

Truth be told, having taken a look at Superman's alternate costumes in this project a while, I have to say I am very underwhelmed. Granted the decision was before my time but nonetheless it is a specific category that I intend to fix. And of course I have to start it out with one of Superman's most iconic designs... Clark Kent, the underpaid reporter of the Daily Planet!

For this costume, I fully intend for his shirt to be half-opened with the Superman logo, as it adds a lot of visual appeal beyond just "Supes in a suit". And, honestly, what is a more iconic image to this character than Clark Kent running down an alley with the half-opened shirt?
2. Peter Parker

I mean, c'mon, Peter is the alter ego character, the pure embodiment of the secret identity trope, and is the face behind one of the most iconic characters of all time. He needs a costume where he is just, well, himself.

I had originally considered a design based on the upcoming MCU Animated series, as it's a perfect blend of modern and classic-Ditko era Peter... but I'm using the comics as the basis to stay consistent with the rest of the costumes, and also because this the guy we all think when it comes to Peter (Maguires, Garfields and Hollands aside). Ideally, the actual in-game design would be more uniquely high-school based, but I digress.
3. Bruce Wayne
And the "Man of the Year" award goes to...

Of course, Bruce Wayne is easily the most shoe-in alter ego on here. He just demands having the inclusion; It's bloody Bruce Wayne, the entire center of Batman's character, the broken child that become a vigilante and wears his unmasked persona as a mask. He was even included as a Premiere Costume in Injustice 2, so this is definitely completely viable territory we should explore here.
4. Matt Murdock (I'm Not Daredevil)

So, of course, after this costume got shafted for the base game, I'll be playing another hand to have it included. Because honestly, look at it!

As part of the costume, Daredevil's billy clubs will be replaced with two candy canes, that can be combined to form a larger candy cane that would take the place of his staff for his special moves. And having candy canes in places of his billy clubs is hilariously awesome.

I just got back from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. It was a very personal, emotional exploration of grief and loss; the ending was uplifting, and it was a great movie, but unlike most Marvel movies, it's not one that I'd describe as fun. Riri was great but underused, and they probably could have cut most of Everett Ross's scenes.

---

Warworld: 2
Smallville: 2
Flash Museum: 4
STAR Labs: 7

The final DC stage will be STAR Labs! (congratulations PinkFlare PinkFlare !) Constantine will be Blade's rival, while Wolverine will be Lobo's rival!

I'm not sure how to handle this costumes round, since we didn't get as many nominations as usual. Since there were only three nominations, I'll have a poll; I'm thinking we'll add the top two, but we'll see how it goes. (we might just add one)

---

Job 242: nominate a Marvel stage

While I thought about doing a character round soon, today definitely isn't the day for it since I'm posting this five hours later than normal. I'll post the character round tomorrow; in the meantime, I think we'll focus on nominating the final Marvel stage of the game today.

Here are the Marvel stages that we have so far; feel free to nominate any location aside from these:

  • The Daily Bugle
  • Krakoa
  • Asgard
  • Wakanda
  • Avengers' Tower
  • The Danger Room
  • The Bar With No Name
  • The Dark Dimension
  • Knowhere
  • Ego the Living Planet
  • SHIELD Helicarrier
  • Castle Doom
  • The Savage Land
  • Murderworld
(I thought about putting series next to them like I did with DC, but some of them seem to be more general locations rather than being tied to one specific character/team)

The Baxter Building

Is there something fitting about Marvel's First Family getting their last stage? Probably not, but while we have a stage related to the Fantastic Four with Castle Doom, we don't have a stage that's directly tied to the FF themselves.

The stage would take place in the interior of the building, likely in a lab to include as many of Reed's ridiculous gadgets as possible. HERBIE, Franklin, Valeria, and the Fantastic Four (including the Thing, if he's not being played as) could make cameos in the background.

(the above picture likely isn't up-to-date; bare minimum, I doubt Johnny Storm's room is lined with, or made out of, asbestos nowadays, and the technology would be more advanced)

Battle For Earth

You fight atop the ruins of the Avengers Compound. There's a ton of action going on in the sky and the far background, though it's too far away to make out any specific characters (though you may notice a magic portal or a repulsion blast here and there). If you and your opponent go to Round 3, a bright white streak (you know who) will fly straight through Thanos' ship, which causes it to explode and set off a huge shower of debris, visually raising the stakes. The most hyped-up moment in MCU's history definitely deserves a shot at a place in this game.

Job 242: Marvel Stage
CHRONOPOLIS
Kang's home city, where time and space collide and the order of chronology means nothing. With the upcoming appearance of Kang as the MCU's next major villain, and that we have no representation of him at all yet, Chronopolis would be a perfect stage to add. The idea of having multiple time periods from Marvel representated in forefront and background whilse time shifts endlessly would make for a very unique, visual stage, and alternate timelines could be represented to fit in with the theme of the Multiverse

For costumes, we're going to add the Alter Egos line-up! I'm not sure if we'll add a second costume pack from this, given the lack of interest and the poll currently being tied, but I'll wait and see how the results change over the course of the day.

Blade's moveset is still open, and I'll see what I can come up with today.

Stage nominations:
-The Web of Life and Destiny ( cashregister9 cashregister9 )
-The Baxter Building ( Megadoomer Megadoomer )
-Battle for Earth ( Janx_uwu Janx_uwu )
-Chronopolis ( PinkFlare PinkFlare )
-Nexus of All Realities ( Infinity Sorcerer Infinity Sorcerer )

Vote for your top three, and you can't put your own nomination in first.

1. Chronopolis
2. Baxter Building
3. Web of Life and Destiny

---

Job 243: nominate a DC street level character

This can include heroes, villains, anti-heroes, etc. The most prominent examples would be characters related to Batman or Green Arrow, but there's still the likes of the Question, Peacemaker, various martial artists, etc.

The Question
Vic Sage is an investigative reporter who used a special face mask to hide his identity as the vigilante the Question, operating in Hub City. He fights both criminals and the corrupt officials of the city. This character was a huge influence on Rosarch from the Watchmen. He's also most known for being featured on the Justice Legaue animated seires.

I'm going to resubmit my favorito Batman character for this round. Some credits goes to PinkFlare PinkFlare whose previous moveset gave me some inspiration.
RED HOOD
General Playstyle
Red Hood mix his talent in Martial Arts with deadly firearms changing between close combat and zoning midmarch. There is no room for mercy with him.

Unique Action - Forbidden Chains
Jason has a series of special rekkas using his two pistols at point blank range, see Noel Vermillion's Drive that please ignore the fact that I name this exactly the same for a better reference. This chains can be cancelled from a normal attack, to a special move and between themselves, thought they can't be canceled to a normal attack again nor a special move can be canceled to a Forbidden Chain. These chains gives Jason invulnerability but they have a cost in the form of ammo, each attack during the chain consumes a pack of ammo and the battle starts with a total of 15 packs. After using all of them the next time you use the Unique Action button Jason would require a "reload" animation, thought you can do the reload manually using the move properly called "Reload" with 214 + UA Button.

MOVE NAME
INPUT
DESCRIPTION
Shurikens
236 + XJason throws a set of shurikens at the opponent at once, different buttons throws the shurikens at different angles; This move functions similar to Batman's Batarang, however, it moves faster and applies bleed. While the projectile it's small and doesn't do too much damage, it's also very fast and sometimes unpredictable
Thunderclap
214 + XJason uses his two electric crowbars to attack the opponent, the light version it's an overhead, the medium version is a low attack that knocksdown the opponent and the heavy version it's a strong unblockable attack (though it requires charge it). You can also hit his own grenades (see below) to overcharge them and do more damage.
Counter Parry
623 + XActing as a parry, Jason starts out putting his arms in a defensive position, regularly only blocks mids and highs but the strong version makes him crouch allowing him to counter lows; From here, the player can either follow up with a combo attack, or perform the move's specific counter depending of the position where he was attacked, if it's attacked with a mid or high attack Jason grabs the opponent by the arm and twists it against their back, then grabs the opponent by the head and then slams them into the ground. If it's low he knockdown them with a leg press, then he stands up above the opponent and steps on them finishing with a single shot.
Neckbreaker
63214 + XJason grabs the opponent switching sides in the screen, then he use a CQC technique to suffocate the opponent (yes even if that opponent is Starro) and when they are unconscious he cracks their neck (again even if it's Starro) knockdown them
Tether Grab
421 + XJason throws a grapples onto the opponent, acting as a tethered grab, and pulls them in; There is a brief pause in which Jason can followup with an attack. If Jason misses the opponent, he will pull the hook back to him in a quick fashion, with the end of the hook acting as a reverse-projectile which can deal damage.
Grenade Toss
22 + XJason unpins and throws a grenade in front of him with different arcs depending of the strength of the button pressed, which has a 3-second window before it explodes; It can be cooked, but this can backfire if not let go on time. They can also be overcharged with Eskrima Techniques to increase the blast radius.
Watch Your Steps
22 + UA ButtonJason lays a Ground Mine in the ground, putting it directly near him. It explodes when the opponent pass over them or when Jason activates it with an explosion. There can only be a total of two Ground Mines at the same time.
Level 1 Super: Full Barrel
236236 + X (Air OK)Jason repeteadly fires shoots of his dual pistols, depending of the button used these shoots could be straight, crouching or as an anti-air. In the air they always shoot straight.
Level 1 Super: All-Blades
214214 + XJason summons the All-Blades, a pair of mystical blades manifested from Jason's own soul, he uses them to slash to the opponent at fast speed multiple times ending thrusting the blades to their back.
Level 2 Super:
Calling for Arsenal
632146 + XBelieve it or not, Jason has friends, one of them is Arsenal who he calls to shoot multiple arrows from the sky that explode in contact with the floor.
Level 3 Super:
Bloody Justice
All Buttons Pressed
Jason throws a flashbang grenade at the opponent and shoots it, causing it to explode; If the hitbox lands, the cinematic starts from the opponent's perspective, in which they are in a temporarily blinded daze.
They come back to the senses to see Jason rising on a motorcycle straight towards them, with a rifle in hand; Jason stands up and begins shooting them; Once he's out of ammo, he throws the rifle aside, and whips out his grapple hook to grab the opponent by the leg and drag them across from his motorcycle; Jason spins around, causing the opponent to experience an intense whiplash, as they're soaring right towards Jason, who, with a taser in hand, leaps off the motorcycle, electrocutes them in midair, and throws them onto the ground.
The cinematic ends from the opponent's PoV, with Jason standing over the them, and stomping right on their face.
Resubmitting Red Hood once again.

The Crossbow Killer Huntress

The Huntress started out as a character from Earth-2. She was the daughter of Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle in a universe where characters aged in real-time after the events of the World War 2-era Golden Age comics. After her mother was blackmailed into returning to action as Catwoman, and perished as a result, Helena took on the mantle of "the Huntress" to avenge her mother's death.

After Crisis on Infinite Earths wiped out the established multiverse, Huntress was reinvented as Helena Bertinelli, the daughter of a Gotham mob boss. When her whole family was slaughtered in a mob hit, she vows revenge. While she operates out of Gotham, she has a rocky alliance with Batman, who disapproves of her willingness to use lethal force.

She's also served as a member of the Birds of Prey alongside Black Canary, and her Earth-2 incarnation was friends with Power Girl. Like many of Gotham's vigilantes, she's a skilled fighter in armed and unarmed combat. While I could have nominated Cassandra Cain again, I wanted to try someone different.

---

EDIT: Also, I came up with a Blade moveset; I was going to post it separately once someone else posted, but I'm not sure if anyone's going to between now and when I start the next set of jobs.

Blade moveset

Unique Ability: Bloodlust
- Blade briefly glows red, healing slightly from any damage that he deals, but taking more damage while in this state. Once activated, it doesn't stop until the meter runs out to prevent people from quickly using it, gaining a bit of health back, and then deactivating it before they're at risk of taking damage.

Daywalker Dash (back, forward, attack) - Blade dashes forward with blinding speed, slashing at the opponent as he passes through them. This is unsafe on block, as Blade does a big flourish afterwards.

Winged Whirlwind (down, up, attack) - Blade launches into the air with wings growing out of his back, spinning around to rapidly hit opponents on his way up. The angle of the attack can be controlled slightly by holding forward or back mid-animation

High Stakes (quarter circle forward + attack - air OK) - Blade flings a stake straight ahead, with the speed and power increasing as the attack gets heavier.

Holy Water (quarter circle back + attack - air OK) - Blade throws a vial of holy water at the ground, which bursts into blue flame on contact. The flames burn for a short period of time, serving as a trap or a way to limit the opponent's movement on the ground.

Level 1: Like Ice Skating Uphill (quarter circle forward x2 + attack) - Blade throws four glaives, which spin around while bouncing around the screen erratically.

Level 2: Blood Haze (quarter circle back x2 + attack) - Blade tosses vials of poisonous serum into the air and shoots them, raining acidic green goop onto the stage.

Level 3: Daybreak (press all buttons) - Blade lunges forward to grab the opponent, dragging them both into the shadows where a cinematic starts. The opponent emerges from the shadows in a dark forest, where it quickly becomes apparent that Blade is using the opponent as vampire bait. (though there are some cases where this doesn't make sense - Ultron has no blood, Doom has anti-Dracula measures built into his armour, and a vampire biting into Superman or Power Girl would be like a human biting into a hand grenade) Regardless, vampires emerge from the shadows, heading towards the opponent, before Blade intercepts them. The camera circles around the player character, who only catches glimpses of the carnage before an explosive stake lands at their feet. The stake detonates, and the opponent is caught in the crossfire of some of Blade's other attacks. The sun rises, turning the vampires into dust as Blade leaps into the air and, silhouetted by the sunrise, slashes the opponent before dragging them into the shadows, back to the stage.

Job 243: Street Level DC Character (DLC)
PEACEMAKER
Alias: Christopher Smith
First Appearance: Fightin' 5 #40 (November, 1966)

Created by Charlton comics as a back-up strip for Fightin' 5 before spinning off into his own series, the Peacemaker is one of their staple superhero characters that grew in popularity once Charlton was bought out by DC. Originally, he was created as simply a right-minded superhero, fighting against warlords with non-lethal weaponry (though the irony that he was a pacifist who fought for peace was always there). However, once DC got a hold of the character, things spiraled as he began to be seen in the anti-hero light he is known for today; His fight for peace was an effect of mental illness caused by a traumatic past, and DC's Peacemaker became a cold-blooded killer who spares no villain's life. This also earned him a spot on the Suicide Squad in later comics, which I will get back to later because that becomes heavily important for the character. Though this was a drastic change for the character, it increased the interest in him by tenfold and Peacemaker began seeing more appearances under his anti-heroic moniker; He is also perhaps most famous for being the inspiration for Watchmen's Comedian; In fact, Watchmen was originally pitched as a Charlton-universe comic "Who Killed the Peacemaker?" once they were DC owned. And just as an FYI, numerous other Charlton characters later inspired the Watchmen cast; Nite-Owl is based off of Blue Beetle, Nightshade inspired Silk Spectre, etc.

But of course, the real reason Peacemaker is here is because of the DCEU. His appearance in 2021 The Suicide Squad film and his subsequent TV show skyrocketed the character to DC-Icon status. And, wow, holy sh*t was it worth it; His character has easily become one of my favorites both on the Suicide Squad team and in his own show, a sentiment shared by many other fans, and Peacemaker has become the face of course correction for the DCEU as a result; in fact he is probably one of the lead characters of the DCEU now, above Batman and Superman. In fact, his renowned status has made me wonder why this character was never nominated until this season. Of course, though, he is being nominated now and I'm hopeful he will win in celebration of the character's new status quo.
PEACEMAKER MOVESET
General Playstyle
Unpredictable but overly violent, Peacemaker's moveset focuses on high damage output and maintaining his defense, classifying him as a cross between a tank and a rushdown fighter

Unique Ability - All-In-One Helmet
There is no aspect more iconic than Peacemaker's helmet, and very conveniently, it is the most adaptive tool in his arsenal. Whilst the DCEU has multiple different helmets with different functions, the comics have often had multiple functions in a single helmet, which is what I'm going with.

Peacemaker's helmet, much like Star-Lord's element guns, have a unique function tied to each one that can act as a stance change, in which the way the player manages their equipment and health can now change in tandem with the helmet mode.
Helmet TypeFunction
Base Helmet
Peacemaker's standard helmet mode has no function, but gives him a boosted health-bar whilst the others do not.
Screwdriver
The Screwdriver helmet wraps Chris in a full-body forcefield, shielding him from any damage taken for a limited time. However, this slows down his movement speed
Sonic Boom
When activating Sonic Boom, an initial blast wave shoots out, acting as a repulsive explosion dealing heavy damage to the opponent. This automatically reverts Peacemaker's helmet to Base mode, and leaving all others unavailable for a limited period
Anti-Gravity
When using Anti-Gravity, Chris becomes lightweight, granting him a double jump and increasing his speed, air mobility and knockback output, at the cost of damage output being lowered
Resistance
The Resistance Helmet gives Chris as temporary resistance to all status effects - poison, fire, bleed, all of it. This comes at the cost of his defense being lowered

Special Move NameInputDescription
Barrel of PeaceQCF + XChris whips out his signature long-barrel pistol and fires it off, acting as a projectile. It is a basic weapon but fires off 1 round every second before needing to reload after 6 rounds. At pointblank range, it does extra damage
Eagly's WarcryDP + XChris ducks down as Eagly glides onto the battlefield, screaming as he swoops in and tackles the opponent briefly before flying off
Over-EquippedHCB + XChris pulls out a real, military-grade rocket launcher from his backpack, as he fires off a rocket that spirals across the stage and eventually hits the ground closest to the opponent, dealing a small sized explosion that does moderate damage.

This move is on a cooldown, as Peacemaker can only fire one rocket at a time.
Anti-Swamp Thing Escrima SticksBack, Forth + XChris equips himself with a pair of chemically treated bio-tech rods, ones specifically designs to fight Swamp Thing, and runs towards the opponent as he brutalizes them in an automatic multi-hit attack
Guns BlazingQCB + XChris uses a pair of twin shotguns as he fires them sporadically in front of him, no thought to his aim. He fires both 4 times each, meaning 8 damage outputs will occur within short distance of Chris, each hit having an unpredictable landing. This most useful as a get-off-me tool
Flight Pack (Anti-Air)Down, Down + XChris activates a jetpack as the flames hit the ground, dealing splash damage, whilst Chris slashes his sword in the air

Super Move NameInputDescription
Level 1 - Activate Human Torpedo!2QCF + XChris activates the human torpedo function of his helmet, and he begins to glow all-blue as he swirls torwards the opponent like a human-sized projectile
Level 2 - Eat Peace!HCF + XChris ties a grenade to a russian tank-shell, throws it, and takes cover as a massive explosion occurs, afflicting both damage and burn effects
Level 3 - Pax Americana (Cinematic)All Buttons PressedChris throws a flashbang grenade at the opponent to blind them. If the move connects, the cinematic starts.

The blinded opponent stands still, trying to come to their senses, only to realize that Peacemaker is gone. Where could he have gone?
Zoom out hundreds of miles into the air, and Chris is clinging onto the edge of a weather balloon, with a sniper rifle in hand. He fearlessly leaps off and loads a round into the rifle, pumps it, and flips around mid-air.
One eye through the scope, Chris gets a perfect shot at the target, and with no ounce of hesitations, he fires, hitting the opponent in the head as if it were pointblank range. Just as Peacemaker is about to hit the ground, Eagly swoops in, catches him, and lands him safely onto the ground.

Reasons for Inclusion:
  • Recent DCEU Popularity
  • Suicide Squad representation, of which we are sorely lacking

---
I did almost forget to votes for stages, but I'll edit them in right now.

1. Web of Life and Destiny
I really like the idea of this stage. Spider-Man has a surprisingly fair share of "cosmic" storylines for a street level hero, and this is a perfect representation fo that, references different points of the Spider-Verse that has become popularized in recent year. It fitting perfectly into our Multiverse theme is a plus.
2. The Baxter Building
In terms of iconic locations left out in the Marvel universe, this is the biggest one; It's imagery and ties to Marvel's New York and the F4 in general is too important to gloss over.
3. Chronopolis
The idea of this stage being a cross of the entire Marvel timeline just makes it stand out a lot, especially with Kang at the epicenter here.

Here are the results for the stage vote:

Battle For Earth: 1
Web of Life and Destiny: 7
Nexus of All Realities: 7
Chronopolis: 8
Baxter Building: 13

As a result, the final Marvel stage will be the Baxter Building!

Also, I edited a Blade moveset into my previous post; if anyone has any suggestions to make, or an alternative moveset that they want to submit, feel free.

Here are the nominations for DC's street level round:

dc street level nominations.png

-The Question (@Darkonedagger)
-Red Hood ( Infinity Sorcerer Infinity Sorcerer )
-Katana ( DragonRobotKing26 DragonRobotKing26 )
-Huntress ( Megadoomer Megadoomer )
-Peacemaker ( PinkFlare PinkFlare ) (I think there's a problem with your image - it's just a blue background with some doves on it)

Vote for your top three, and you can't put your own in first:

1. Red Hood
2. Huntress
3. Peacemaker

Job 244: nominate an Avengers member

Normally, I'd try to space out the character rounds, but my usual methods of spacing things out have either been completed for this season (bosses and stages for Marvel/DC) or were done recently without much success (costume packs). I could do a Galactus moveset job, but the original nomination said that he'd fight similarly to Marvel vs. Capcom 3, unless people wanted something different.

In any case, we're going to jump right into the next character round, nominating members of the Avengers. We've got a few as of now, but there are a ton of options to choose from, whether they've been members for a short time like Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman, current members like Echo and Namor, or long-standing members like Hawkeye (Clint Barton), She-Hulk, or the Vision.

I finally obtained a keyboard so this time I will work on a more expanded submission, I also recently get this Marvel Encylopedy book that it's very awesome, it was released in 2019 so sadly it lacks certain elements from the last years like the whole Krakoan run but its still very fun.

Hank Pym.png

Ant-Man (Hank Pym)

One of the founding Avengers (the only one who's not currently in the roster, in fact), Hank Pym is a man of many identities. He came up with the idea for him and the Wasp to team up with Iron Man, Thor, and the Hulk when he was Ant-Man, only for him to discover how to use his Pym Particles discovery to grow as well as shrink, taking on the identity of Giant-Man shortly after (by the time of Avengers issue 2, so clearly, he was busy between the first and second issue). He's also fought crime as Yellowjacket, Goliath, the Wasp, and even as Dr. Henry Pym from time to time.

Hank has had numerous battles with mental illness over the years, starting with a mental breakdown after the death of his first wife Maria. He's had his ups and downs over the years, with his low points being more infamous than his high points. Regardless of what he's struggling with, he keeps pushing forward, trying his best to make the world a better place.

Hank's discovery of Pym Particles allowed him to shrink objects or people (while maintaining the strength that they'd have at full size) or grow them (increasing their strength and durability), though both have limits - growing too large causes a tremendous amount of strain on the user, while shrinking something too much transports it to the Microverse. In addition to particle physics, he's also knowledgeable when it comes to entomology (thanks to his work with ants), biochemistry (one of the most skilled in the field), engineering, and robotics. (even if his track record is mixed in that last field)

I'll post a moveset idea for him, though if he does get in, I'm willing to let other people suggest ideas; as you'll see, his wide array of identities gives him a lot of material to work with.

Unique Ability: Pocket Dimension - pressing the Unique Ability button causes him to reach into his pocket and pull out a shrunken tool, which he grows to its normal size or larger. The tool changes based on the directional input.
  • Neutral: Chainsaw - Ant-Man pulls out a chainsaw and swings it; its range is short, but it hits the opponent several times if they're close enough.
  • Forward: Skateboard - Hank places a skateboard on the ground and kicks it - as it rolls forwards, it slowly increases in size, dealing more damage as it gets larger. (so it's better to be on the opposite end of the screen when using it - the opponent will likely see it coming, but it will do more damage if it hits)
  • Back: Tennis Practice - Hank pulls out a high-tech tennis racket (made out of strange materials, the netting is made of lasers, etc.) and swings it; this can reflect projectile attacks, though Hank's vulnerable during the follow through. This has a shorter cooldown than his other unique actions.
  • Down: Them! - Hank buries something in the ground, leaving a mound of dirt where he left it. (This mound has a few different colours to prevent it from blending in with the floor) If the opponent steps on it, an ant with a head the size of a watermelon burrows out of the ground and bites the opponent. Only one of these can be set at once; setting a new one causes the first to disappear, and it will also disappear after enough time has passed.
Yellowjacket Sting (quarter circle forward + attack - air OK) - much like the Wasp, Hank can fire bioelectric energy thanks to turning himself into Yellowjacket, though his lack of practice by comparison results in them coming out as balls of energy rather than steady beams.

Goliath Uppercut (Shoryuken motion + attack) - Hank grows in size, uppercutting his opponent on his way up. If he connects, it launches the opponent into the air, though he's a large target when using this attack.

Bullet Train (quarter circle back + attack - air OK) - Hank places a hand on his helmet (or his ear if he's wearing a costume that doesn't have a helmet), and a swarm of bullet ants crawl across the screen, serving as a low projectile. When used in the air, the ants will still crawl along the ground, catching the opponent off-guard.

Pint-Sized Powerhouse (half circle forward + attack - air OK) - Hank shrinks down to ant size and leaps forward; if he hits the opponent, he jumps around their body, hitting them two or three times before uppercutting them into the air and returning to normal size.

Level 1: Fee Fi Fo Fum (quarter circle forward x2 + attack) - Hank grows as large as he can before stomping on the stage like he's trying to squash an ant.

Level 2: Rover's Return (quarter circle back x2 + attack) - Hank pulls out a remote, calling in Rover to fly over the stage. Rover bombards the stage with fire from its "mouth".

Level 3: Infinite Avengers Mansion (press all buttons) - Hank lunges at the opponent; if he connects, a door appears behind them, and Hank shoves the opponent through it. Inside the door is a room filled with countless other doors, along with pictures of the Avengers and memorabilia from their long history as a team. Hank calls out "Avengers, assemble!", and some Avengers members that don't make it into the roster (for example, Hercules, Jocasta, Tigra, and Wonder Man, if none of them make it in) step out of the doors before ganging up on the opponent. Pym lands the finishing blow, growing to giant size and punching the enemy with such force that they're sent flying through the door that they entered the infinite mansion through, ending the super as the opponent lands back in the stage. (Hank closes the door behind himself and it vanishes)
