We still do better than you without it.

Not a good indication for you >.>
Oh right, you beating Dave! I forgot about that part!

Wait, no I didn't.

Don't assume. The first time time I played him with Kirby at Ranbat 1 I would sdi the turtle everytime and bAir him in the face(he still beat me then). I do the same with ROB only fAir or bAir
EIDT: He was also impressed at Holiday Bash when I would DI to not get caught in multiple nAirs, despite ROBs bulky body.
Fantastic. Then why was he surprised when I SDIed stuff..? Darnit Dave, this is all your fault, stop being so indecisive!

I've beaten him in tourney before.

True fact: He has never 2-0'd me.
Last time we played, I won game 1 and 3, but it was out of 5. Game one was a 2 stock and every game after that went down to last stock, high damage.

How do you do against him?

You consider "going down to last stock, high percent", and losing sets a success? Looks like you're good at this game.

Plleeeeeeeease get a decent mindset. I'm gonna beg now. You're like a crooked painting, and I'm just trying to straighten it out so it doesn't look stupid.

And I never said I was better or worse than anyone at this game. I just said people were costing themselves percentage, position, and potential opportunities by not learning to SDI G+W's bair, lol...

Maybe he was surprised at you personally? Say maybe that you know how to Sdi it? or that you improved? So many other things than just that no one else does it, silly ;)

Yeah, it's like a little toddler learning to walk. I could see that logic working.
Too simplified for what I mean't although what I am saying is simple. I will give you an example

You are playing some random person, they do a multi-hit move, for whatever reason(lazy, tired, just friendlies) you don't SDI out of it.

Now if Dave were to see that he would probably make a mental note from observation. So sometime later when he plays you and you SDI the turtle it might surprise him.

But that was the first time I played Dave, and I SDIed every bair in that set :X

Lol I just realized how dumb these past four posts (including this one) have been. :p

Way to go, you like overrated and popular Pokemon. Be a real man, and get in on those Indiemon.

You're more of a :081:, anyway

edit: Dave, this is just my opinion, but I like locals a lot more than tournies with OoS people. Advertise on AiB to maybe get some local guys to show up to Ranbats, but keep it to that. C3T and Supercon are better choices for OoS tournies, anyway.

The main issue I have with the turtle vid is: couldn't gaw just do bair a touch later to shorten the delay between hits 5 and 6, thus making it riskier to interrupt?

Just throw a turnip out-of-shield.

It covers like 90% of his spacing options.

OR HE COULD JUST SPACE THE TURTLE!!!

K that aside, can we plan a smashfest for this friday/saturday/sunday?
I want to actually play again....I've been prioritizing poorly. Life should not beat smash. Ever.
