Okay, so I've finished making the ruleset for the tourney I'm hosting the week after FF. I ask everyone to read the rules (especially the stage list), and adhere to them correctly. I'll bold major changes, to make them easier to see. At least read those.

This stage list isn't final. I'm personally testing every stage to see if any should be made legal / all-out banned. I'm also going to see if a 7 stage system would work. For now, though, this is the stage list. I will make all of you aware of any changes.
General rules:
1. Matches will be 3 stock with a
7 minute timer.
2. Items are set to "off" and "none".
3. Team attack is ON for doubles matches.
4. All sets with the exception of winner's finals, loser's finals, and the championship are best of 3 matches. (best of 5 and for finals matches)
5. In the event of a dispute, controller ports will be selected by rock-paper-scissors.
6. No player may choose a stage they have already won on in that set unless agreed upon by both players.
7. In team matches, the ports will be determined in a 1221 fashion; whichever team wins the RPS will choose their ports first, with the options of either ports 1 and 4, or ports 2 and 3.
8. If the timer runs out, the victor is determined first by stock and then by percentage.
9. In the event of a suicide finish (Koopa Klaw, Flame Choke, Dedede / Kirby inhale, Donkey Kong fthrow), the player that initiated the suicide will be declared the winner of the match.
10. All wall infinites are legal until 150%.
11. Any action that can prevent the game from continuing (i.e., freezing, disappearing characters, game reset, etc.) will result in a forfeit of that match for the player that initiated the action. You are responsible for knowing your own character, and must be wary about accidentally triggering one of these effects.
12. The Mage's DQ rule is also in effect:
- 2 Minutes Late: Warning/Loss of first stock
- 4 Minutes Late: Loss of first match of set
- 6 Minutes Late: Loss of set
Order of Procedure:
1. Both players select their characters for the first match.
2. Both players begin the stage striking process, rock-paper-scissors is the recommended way of choosing who goes first.
3. Match one is played.
4. After the first match, both players announce one stage ban each.
5. The loser of the previous match selects a counterpick stage from the legal stage list.
6. The next match is played.
7. For additional matches, repeat rules 5 and 6.
Banned techniques:
- Standing chaingrabs / grab release infinites (Dedede's dthrow, Marth's grab release, Bowser's grab release, etc.) (does not apply to ICs)
- Dedede's walking chaingrab, you must do a running chaingrab at all times
- Any form of stage glitch abuse for the use of stalling (rudderstalling / rockstalling on Pirate Ship, Metaknight's exploit on Halberd, etc.) If I see it, you're disqualified.
Stalling is banned.
- Stalling: The act of deliberately avoiding any and all conflict so that one may make the game unplayable. Running away from an opponent to reach a better position is not stalling. Planking is a perfect example. If i see it and deem it excessive, you WILL lose your ENTIRE SET. No warnings! Play, dont gay.
Additional rules:
- Absolutely no friendly / money match play on tournament TVs while the tournament is being run. If you're caught, expect to be kicked out of every tournament you entered. Oh, and kiss your money goodbye. No refunds.
- There is a 40 ledgegrab limit in effect. On average, that's one ledgegrab every 6 seconds. Be more creative with your camping.
